Don't JUST use her products because even if you use her products you still have to use other products in order for your hair to grow.

I don't know why there were no instructions in the box, but you shouldn't have to sleep with the rollers in. You can just keep them in for about 10 to 15 minutes and as they cool down, that sets the curl in place. I'm speaking in general as I'm not familiar with that particular set of rollers.
The fact that your hair was still warm from having it wrapped up all night might mean that the curls weren't as set as they could have been if your hair had cooled down.
Looks great. You probably don't need to keep putting the rollers back in. You can just pin curl it...way easier to sleep with pin curls.

I’m not sure what you used to straighten it but a really good blow dryer brush will make it a bit sleek. Also trim it some more because it will come out better.the rollers worked good

Came out really good! I think trimming your ends will help with the silk press as well…your hair looks straight and the ends look frizzy.
I believe she just did a trim it’s just not bone straight
She trimmed her ends and said she trimmed what she wanted. It needs to have been more trimmed but I think she doesn't want to cut too much and regret the length.

AT NIGHT: I keep my hair piled in a loose pineapple…wrap with a scarf…cover with a closed tube (like the kind marketed for locks or men) and sleep. It still looks great in the morning.

Brittany don’t feel bad or defeated. My hair reacts the same way. When I flat iron my hair it reacts the same way. It’s straight for a few hours then pouf…there it goes. Back to ponytails!

I have the same problem.. my hair looks dull and puffy when I flat iron it.. I think next time I'm gonna try using a neutralizing shampoo to fully cleanse my hair and see how it goes..

You could pin coil it to sleep with it. And you won't have to put the rollers back in. The pin could will help keep the curls.

Any advice on how to keep the hair hydrated when it’s in a silk press? I always feel like my hair is too dry after and I can’t use the hair moisturizer because it will revert my hair back to curly 😢
You need to deep condition before the press so it can be in a healthy/hydrated state. Then after use oils as if you use water based producrs it will revert. Light oils and serums.
@@TinaB111 Thanks for the suggestion, but even after deep conditioning, my hair starts to feel dry after the silk press. Oils don’t hydrate the hair. And it doesn’t help much especially if there isn’t any moisture to seal…
@@Sisima13 do you blow dry on high heat? Try air drying first and blow drying on medium heat when hair is damp with your heat protectant.
