I prefer mini braids over mini twists for that same reason. Installing is a breeze for me with mini twists but when it comes to detangling after the take down, i regret instantly.
Oh my gosh girl I think you are going to need to hire a team for your growing business, i can tell u are managing your business amazingly and that you are very independent and professional! But we really hate when our favorite butter and oil are out of stock. As you can tell your business is expanding in customers so I think it is better to hire people so you can get things done. Us subscribers are rooting for you!
About short hair styles for long natural hair, I had the same frustration and so did some research. I stumbled upon a technique of braiding where how you lay your strands of hair produces a weave pattern so the length of your entire hair is at the roots and the rest of the braid is the added hair. This way, you can crop your bob however short you want it. Whenever I refreshed my braids or twists I knew where to focus on (and this really helped with the amount of product I was using and efficiently😅). It also helps with a QUICK-- and I mean QUICK-- takedown. I don't know if this would count as protective hairstyling. I just wished to put this out there for anyone who's seeking solutions for such frustrations.

I watched every second of this video and I love it. Please do more.🙏🏽 Also having long hair really does make do your hair a marathon and I can’t do bobs either. I actually cried once because I attempted to do a bob with boho curls and my hair was too long. Then when it’s time to come out I can’t just cut I have to cut it and take my time to take out the braids. I really think about cutting my hair sometimes but I want but length hair so I gotta see this through 😂❤

I have the same issue with mini twist, they used to be my go-to protective style and my hair would just break so much when I would detangle and wash.
I lose way less hair when I do braids or even mini braids

Hi Brittany, I have watched your video and I believe I know what attributed to the amount of breakage you experienced. At the beginning of the video, where you took out your scrunchie, I noticed that your hair looked like you had a bunch of collected coils all throughout your hair. When you put your hair under the water, the coils stayed intact. So when you combed through your hair, it would have seemed like your hair was super tangled. I have tight coils myself, so when there are parts of my hair where coils were created, I go all throughout my hair and separate the coils by hand on dry hair. It is tedious, but it helps when you plan on washing and detangling your hair. Since you took your hair out of mini twists, I suspect that the technique you used to twist your hair attributed to the collected coils throughout your hair. Even with the technique you used the aforementioned solution can be used.
PS: When I say "collected coils" I mean a coil made from multiple strands of hair.

I used the tymo which has the same kind of settings and it gets my hair done real quick and it is light weight and the magnetic attachments are magical. I got that instead of the dyson because well I couldn't afford that one. I do love dyson products thougth.

I love your videos, when you get the chance could you please do a video tutorial on how to part your hair for washing and styling. My hair has been driving me crazy no matter what I do I just can’t get it right. 😅
i use chi iron guard hair spray and blow it out with the blow dryer brush and use (lotta body foam just a little bit) some oil to seal the twist and shea moisture black jamaican edge control for my mini twist ,blow drying just makes it easer for install and take down but it lasts and me a month

Even with the extra slip from the conditioner, that Falicia Leatherwood brush was ripping at your hair. I feel like some of the shed hair you had was mixed in with the breakage that the brush gave you, but that's just my opinion 😅

My gf and I just got custody of her sister's kids and they each have different types of curly hair. The oldest has more coily hair, one of the younger twins has curly hair, and the other twin has slightly looser curly hair. I just want to make sure I keep their hair as healthy as possible, as their mom didn't really do much for them in that aspect. Would anyone have any advice, please? I would really appreciate it.
Goody Bright Boost Paddle Hair Brush works wonders on my 4c hair... Tangled or not it glides right through.. you should give it a try . It's quite affordable yet awesome
