This is the best method regardless and it’s not like the bites are gonna one shot your tame
if you are new here, just be aware that his guides are for GCM players. He cant play Ark with GCM off

While I do appreciate the video, and the info is definitely valid. I think it would have been helpful to see the demonstration without the benefit of gcm. You show how to dodge the wyvern's bites and abilities but because you are invincible the audience doesn't actually know if you are really getting hit or not.
Or build a pit stop with a good amount of turrets, go inside with your lymantria and let the turrets do the work and since theyre flyers, turrets get the job done easy.
He didn;t even recommend a gas mask for that poison wyvern, any player without gcm would have been dead, He messes about with those gates when a simple wyvern trap on any ledge would have meant u could just go through and continue safely. Also the distance from the wyvern and u in those gates wouldn't save u from any of their attacks. Any ark player knows this. This is just made up rubbish. He plainly has never done it legit, doesn;t play the game anymore and is just doing these vods for the cash, giving bad advice and calling things hacks when they are intentional in the game. Shame cos he could have been a great youtuber but decided to go this route :(
They must have changed the mechanics then because in ASE, they aggroed on me every time i picked the egg back up. That includes on my boddy or on the ground, oretty sure even out of a tames inventory

I could swear tapejara moves faster than lymantria. Did they change that for ASA?
The way I get my first egg is build a small adobe base at an oasis near the trench, but outside of any aggro range. Then get a cheap flier, can be anything really. Grab a random egg, ideally a lightning one, and fly towards the oasis base and commit sudoku after you stash your egg there. Respawn a couple times at the oasis to lure away the wyvern if it doesn't leave on it's own. Then grab the egg and raise the wyvern so you can just kill wyverns in future egg hunts.
The best way is to build a trap were they will get stuck and it will be multi-use because you gonna need it for a milk run
so even easier method to get wyvern eggs 1 go to your .ini settings & set Platform override = True
now you can place turrets ON platform saddles. next From the island you want to get about 20 or so Plant X seeds, Then Tame an oasisaur & build Large crop plots on its back about 10 with 360 degree ring of coverage Plant & Fertilize the seeds now place 4 Auto turrets close the the center of the oasisaur or 2 Heavy auto turrets & a gas generator to power them. Set all your turrets to auto attack wild dino's at highest range, then go & make some ammo & shove it in the oasisaur normal inventory NOT its resource inventory its regular one & it should resupply the turrets until its out of ammo. do ing this you can sweep the trench every hour for eggs & wait for respawns practically hassle free.

@@drumbeatsoffline6804 you go to the obelisk with the items you want to take with you & look for the 3 tabs Tribute tab is for items required to summon Beta & alpha bosses, Creatures it a 24 hour cache to transfer your tames to a new map & the last tab is to take equipment, resources, & the like to new arks again with a 24 hour timer on official settings.

My Favouirite method is sacrificing tames to lead wyverns farther away from nests to grab eggs and escape, just set your spawn nearby with a bunch of flyers and rinse and repeat until you have a clear path.
This doesn't seem very effective in the slightest.
@@kingtut1431 i used a bunch of pts, argys would work but are slower so you might not get as far from the nest

Actually, I just fly up and over the mountain and make as many sharp turns as I can around it. Its pretty easy to lose them.

I understand why people are against gcm in his tutorials, but the technique still works regardless, which is what matters. I think it’s pretty much given that you can take damage playing normally.

Oviraptors dont spawn there and dino transfer on scorched earth is disabled on official

Easy. tame several flying tames vultures work set them to agrissive fly close enoughfor them to agro them while the wyvern fought your takes grab a few eggs
im a huge nerd on wyverns and how they work and theres actually only 1 thing watch out for there Attacks bcs once you know them very well dont make any mistake I dont so what teacher here shows us is really EASY if youre a little bit ICEcold and just fly down there and grab eggs fly up and let you die and then spawn at y bed then just grab the egg you could also have a very high DMG gun in a chest near y bed to kill the wyverns if theres many camping at youre bed

Rock Elemental method; kill all the wyverns then loot all the eggs. Carchar works well too.

I'm sure they changed something with wyverns in asa. I grabbed a 185 fire egg. A fire wyv chased me. Lynantria was getting blazed up but not taking enough dmg to worry. Then the fire wyverns fire breath killed me off of it. They never used to damage the rider while mounted. I was so confused. Was this a bug or did they change it so they damage the rider now?
Yes they did change it sadly
@seanzaucha6575 yeah found out if they're above you they can damage you. So if they hit the rider directly. Glad I threw the egg in my dinos inventory before I died lol they seem to stop attacking once ur dead n leave ur tame alone

It's a lvl 35 wyvern you could have shotgunned it to death in hopes of better spawns. Also why not just use a Pteranodon and outrun it.

The purple flowers aint that good with whip, i tested it, broke 2 whips not 1 rare mushroom.
Better are the white flowers with green leafes that grow next to river.

I just went over and got 2 140 wyvern eggs and I uploaded them and took them to my island server and I pulled them out of upload and they are just gone did they make it where u can’t bring them to the island to raise now ?

My main issue is the wyvern killing me off the mount. Is there an armor that protects you the fire wyvern decimates me. Fire wyvern will kill you through structure had them do it two times already.
I cant breed the egg. Has anyone a Idea why?
u need a lot of warm conditions, i used like 15 camp fires inside a wooden base to hatch the egg

you would not do it with a lightning or fire, fire now is so agressive i feel its worse than lightning now. lightning in general do not hit like in ase anymore. i used to fly circle and do the special atack on the fire and poison wyverns but for some reason i dont hit them when i actually hit them on ase , same strategy?

Max level for wyverns are 190. Ik u didn't ask but rockdrakes are also max level 190

Update: found out by accident that I had joined what they call a isolated server and I guess those can’t transfer at all. When did the add these servers? Last time I played ASE there was no such server
Make sure you don't have any dyes or skins on you
Transfer to and from scorched earth is disabled for a set amount of time (I think 2 months?) it's to prevent it from immediately being taken over by tribes already built on the island
