Just lettin you know that foot icon isnt a speed boost but its how the game tells you that your are sprinting so when you arent sprinting the foot will dissappear

6:05 hopefully he was joking about the foot symbol because I'm pretty sure it's just a new thing added in ASA that lets you know if your sprinting. I noticed it appears whenever you sprint either when on foot or while riding a mount🙃

I feel like an extra ability that would be awesome is the more fasolasuchus that contribute to the whirlpool, the larger and more dangerous it gets

Also, scorched may not have a ton of water, but fasolasuchus is still incredibly fast in the water, so if you can transfer its probably a great underwater mount as well.

The highest I found on our server is a lvl 140. it took over an hour to tame due to the higher the lvl the less breakable rocks (including the big ones) do less torpidity. Worth it.
I expected it to be way bigger especially from the early art where it has a platform saddle
One issue ive come across with the fasolasuchus, if you get fear roared by a yuty you are immediately brought out of the ground and cannot go back in until the Debuff goes away, doesn’t matter if its at full or not, which kinda sucks

Syntac we need the Asa scorched play through
the faso armor breaking sounds is a indicator that it implied a debuff to enemies making the faso ignore all armor that the target has
Its just like 20 procent at max
I like to call taming methods like this the charcar taming method. Because it was introduced with the charcarodontosaurus. Where you have to pacify the creature in some way such as feeding dead dinos to the carcharo, or blowing the fasolasuchus out of the sand and then mounting them to perform some secondary action to fill the taming bar such as killing dinos with the carcharo or crashing into stuff with the fasola.
The Equus Started it long long ago
@abdelrahmankhaled1346 I wouldn't really consider the equus to count. Since it's just a glorified passive tame. Mount it with food and hit the button when it's about to throw you off. Far different than having to run around killing stuff or guiding the dino Into rocks. The equus also doesn't have any prerequisites to mounting unlike the carcar and Faso besides avoiding detection while approaching. Similar but not equal in my opinion.

hell no lol its bite range is terrible and its too slow, itll get surrounded by rock elementals. manticore moves WAY too much
feels a lot like a vanilla version of the ark additions sand shark right down to c4ing it out of the ground lol. I'd be real surprised if there wasn't some inspiration ther

6:38 while submerging if u let bar completely fill it'll deal a massive dmg and can be used again and again if u have stamina
Anything smaller than a rex its not really worth it tho bcs it scales with drag weight

Careful when trying to knock one out. The one I was going for drove us into the wyvern trench. they have no survival instinct when it comes to cliffs

I noticed hitting the salt deposits give more torpor
The foot symbol just means sprint is toggled on, every creature shows that.
6:08 Not really an indicator for speed boost, its just the symbol for telling you that you are sprinting

Do you have your wild dino resistance set to default or lowered? I've halved mine after struggling to get these things down and I still can't get them to go down :/ They gain the tiniest amount of torpor

Maybe you can immobilize the bosses with it. Bet they havent tested it, and it works as a bug

If you run into metal nodes somehow, the torpidity goes up a lot more.
Yeah finder a good one near metal is the hard part. And getting to it. It’s steering so so crazy and hard to control for me

Imagine you get bola’ed then all of a sudden you see a mf riding one of these circling you until you sink into the sand and die.
This looks like a nightmare if your on pvp or you run into a rock elemental pve wise or mantis or death worm.

I'm rather disappointed that we didn't get the taming method that the concept creator talked about for their Fasolasuchus. I found it rather cool. The Ark Dev's version is just yet another torpor tame with extra damn steps to it.

Just tamed one and honestly im kinda underwhelmed the whirlpool ablitly is useless on anything smaller than a rex and it does not work on stuff like rockgolems also they dont even ignore the rockgolems armor

So question, we have these on our private server but its the Island map, I havent noticed them burrowing. Does anyone know for certain if they are tameable on the Island map or will it need to be force tamed? And even if its force tamed will it be useless as in not be able to go underground and use its abilities? Thankyou to any info.

My torpor goes so slow like 1 torpor per tock I hit like 300 rocks and it only has 410 torpor
