This kind of loot reminds me of the gachas during launch of Extinction ASE. Will most likely get patched soon (like they did with the gachas).

Im starting to think you can get a map from any dino that gives other loot like stone tools and such, ive gotten some from dinos other than the scorpion and bat.

Yes, you have to use the shovel to dig them up. Not sure if you have to have it get the map.

Caveat being that the map came from a creature drop a tribemate got who does NOT own bobs tall tales DLC.

Happens to me also and I have shovel, I check dlc and its deffo been purchased
its funny and typical ark the beaver and trike saddles are useless on the map currently lol

1st one i got was from a saber, the loot is INSANE.
Now’s it’s a fully Pay To Win game! Have to buy the DLC in order to use the shovel to get over level cap items? A trike saddle with that armor is such an advantage for a player. I’ve lost hope for this game. Sad they can’t get things right.

Fym pay 2 win, the original ase maps are basically p2w, on Asa you get all the maps for free. Wildcard does have a right to put this micro transaction in the game when you are getting all maps for free

It's an example of the best way to farm maps. I.e. farming scorpions and bats. Its an example ding dong
If you don’t know how to find creatures and kill them, I’m not sure teach can help you.

I found out they expire after 2 days. A thought in my mind said "To extend expiration we place things in the fridge" (Ark logic).
This actually did work and now the map is valid a solid 83 days.

Well you lost me as a viewer Teach. Most of your viewers are playing official or unofficial settings that still respect the capped limits set by the game. Ex: Most Saddles being 124 and weapons being 298. I guess I should have picked up on it way back when you broke cap when you went against the dragon on the moose, but i let that slide. But here you even claim 1x, and it really really isnt. Are you hurting that much for viewers? A quick glance down your comments shows all the confusion and misinformation you are creating from this. I may only be one person, but I do hope others will open their eyes and see.

You simply did not lissen what he said. ANY creature you kill have like 5% chance it drops a map. The bat and scorpion had higher chance. Find your own scorpion to kill buddy.
