Need to lift front end and turn steering wheel with engine off a couple times, that's how you get rid of air bubble. I don't have a floor jack or jack stands so gonna have a shop do it since I replaced the steering pump with a new one but still whines when cold.
Need to jack up the front and without engine running turn the wheel all the way left and right. Top off fluid and repeat. Do this several times before starting the engine.
I have air and changed the o rings. Still air. But the psp is leaking. Could the air come from psp itself? I will rebuild and change the seals/gaskets/o rings of the psp. I just want to know if the bubbles could possibly come from the psp
My high pressure power steering hose was leaking so I got it replaced. The shop that I went to used non honda parts and fluid. Since then it's been making this whining noise while accelerating or turning. Will it damage the pump if I steer the wheel lock to lock to clear out the air? I cannot jack up the front of the car.
Odd. I just had my power steering pump replaced on my 2007 Honda crv and there’s a shot ton of bubbles in the reservoir. It also makes the same noise like the one in this video. What is the point of using those exact seals?
@@Playforkeeps18.26 I had to take it back and it seemed to be that they didn’t replace one of the seals, or it might have come undone when reinstalling. My 02 accord power steering fluid pumping back out with all the bubble … is this mean I need o ring change, Or power steering pump chsnge?

U might be forcing the pump to push further than it has to go and it can cause belt to squeak
Was the wheel a lil stiff to turn prior to changing the o rings ?
Yes
You have other video, im try to torque tighten the two top bolts.
U can try but if they hard like rock they will not seal
Why does the temperature influence the sound?
Cuz the cold make the pipes and seals hard and they don’t do the job like these suppose to and lets air seep in or leak out
