1945 Shortie rebuilt by me.
I've had my hands on every single piece of this machine (yes, EVERY piece)! Had the motor apart to inspect/clean everything and replace seals. New paint all around. Not spray can paint, automotive paint sprayed from a HVLP paint gun! I've even gone as far as having a friend help me with turning down the generator and exciter commutators. Everything has either been rebuilt, repaired or reconditioned by me. It ran when I got it in January (not the best, but it did run after a little work) and now it's April and I'm only a few small details away from being done. Not a bad winter project! Almost every single night after work and weekend since I got it. Used to be my father-in-laws for over 30 years.
