couple questions is the clutch switch mandatory for cruise control working? and you are using complete auto harness for interior and engine right? I have a sportcross which im doing a manual swap thanks for this video
@TunerwithKids I'm from Europe and I have a is200 manual as well and it doesn't need the clutch to be pressed to start. I think most cars don't have that feature in Europe. I found a manual ecu from USA for my is300 swap hopefully I can make everything work like oem.
are you supposed to leave the red and grey wire connected/pinned in the blue plug at the junction box or leave it pinned ? i followed your video and I still have a CEL for speed sensor but my cluster reads my speed
I mean you can ghetto rig and bypass to not have any safeties or cruise control on the swap like most people. I did this 100% OEM like it would have come from factory.
@@TunerwithKids Thank you I did take a snap shot of the part to zoom in on the part number. Just want to say I really enjoy your is300 videos because I’m getting mine ready to do my 1jz swap in a couple of months. I’m in Texas, the heat is delaying the install.
@@TunerwithKids Hey Binh I ran into a small problem while following your guide for the speed sensor wiring, PIN 13 (Blue and White Wire) on the cluster connector is missing, it’s the only pin missing on the connector, is this normal, and do you have any possible solutions for this?
Underrated IS300 channel.
Your vids are awesome. I see your posts on the IS300 forums.
Very good details and well explained 👏🏾👍🏾
Omg you saved my swap
glad it helped.
Has anyone mentioned any differences in cluster harness for an 04+?? A13 is empty on my car 04 auto

You can jump them but you lose the safety for startup. The cruise needs closed circuit to engage

What does the other end of the cruise control yellow wire solder to on driver side?
Check the links in description, there’s the blog that has all the wiring diagrams.

Don’t remember, watch video again and also check the link in description to write up.
I have a Lexus is 300 on m y dash is check engine light and trac off and code p0500 what part I has to change and where is located
Hey man is there a way I can get in contact with you please. I have a few questions about my swap that I can really use your knowledge 🙏
Is these steps necessary just for oem status?? Will the car still start and run if i dont do any of this??

the brake pedal, you wouldnt happen to have another and or part number? trying to get one for my swap
It should be listed in my parts video. Can still be had from dealer.

i decided to do the single wire to the cluster, why am i still getting a speed fault ...please help me? 😬
Won’t my Speedo still work if I don’t do the Speedo wiring cuz it doesn’t run off the trans it runs off the ABS
ECU needs signal.
Will this work with a manual swapped with auto ecu and ATEMU
Probably not. Different wiring for auto ECU and cruise.
Is the wiring for the same as the 2002-2005 is200 ?
Idk. For the beams engine, not sure how those worked.
Are you using the auto interior harness?
Auto harness.
It if I’m keeping my Auto ecu it will work right ?
Converted? Or ATEMU?
What year is300 Is this for I heard the 01 is different wiring then the rest
02-05. No easy way for 01 except harness swap or ATEMU.

Does this apply to the auto trans also?
This is wiring to convert from automatic to manual and retain all OEM functionality.
It’s just a stock 2005 is300 auto ecu
Car won’t got pass 3500 rpm once it realizes it’s moving and auto transmission isn’t responding. Need a manual ECU, a converter auto ECU or an ATEMU.
what gauge wire do you reccomend to use to extend all these connections, it looks like 20 gauge to me but i'm not completely sure.
OEM wire is probably 20 but I usually use 18 for all my wiring since I have rolls of it.

@wannabegamer919 what year? 02-05 is that plug and wire but 01 is different.
