I have just found your channel and subscribed. I have been an Elvis fan my entire life and I am looking forward to seeing your Elvis journey. It is so great ro see that his music is reaching a new generation. TCB 👑⚡️
This performance still moves me to tears. I remember watching this concert when it was broadcast live from Hawaii. It was fantastic! He definitely earned the title of "King" of rock and roll.
I've been a fan of Elvis since I was 11 years old and he saved my live a number of times. I became so depressed on many an occasion and when I listened to him singing gospel, it just lifted my spirits and made me realise there is more to life than just living. I shall always be grateful to him. When I heard him sing TAKE MY HAND, PRECIOUS LORD I just couldn't stop crying and felt total relief afterwards. Thank you Elvis, you were truly put on this earth for a reason. Love you always ❤❤
Hearing him live in Vegas was beyond comprehension grew up listening to him enjoy your Elvis discovery yiu can’t beat him Tom Jones and Elvis were friends
There's Elvis Gospel, there's Elvis pop, there's Elvis country, there's Elvis blues and there's Elvis rock. Oh and there's Elvis movie songs, Elvis sings to children and Elvis Christmas!!!! Are you Ready for the Long Journey??????????
My favorite Elvis song has always been "Kentucky Rain." You also can't go wrong with his gospel songs, such as "He Touched Me," "Reach Out To Jesus," "Take My Hand, Precious Lord," to name a few.
This must have been a difficult song for Elvis ... his marriage was breaking up , his prescription drug use was deepening and his world was crumbling ! But his voice was still glorious and he gave his all ... still love this man ! RIP Elvis !
Yes he was in a very dark place the book written by his sacked entourage was coming out in the next few days, telling the truth about his private life, the only thing he had left his squeaky clean image. He didn't want to be Elvis Presley anymore he was telling those around him, and the awful non life he had. I think he committed suicide his only way out, which is so heartbreaking. He was too soft to handle his fame, using prescription drugs to deaden it. LONG LIVE THE KING ❤
Don't feel alone, millions of people have not heard a lot of Elvis' songs, even some Elvis fans. I prefer a lot of Elvis songs over his top 10 hits, especially his love songs and some movie songs.
Listen to another song from the Aloha Concert called " What Now My Love". Also, everyone knows the song "Danny Boy," but no one sings it like Elvis. He is the King❤❤❤
Welcome to the Elvis rabbit hole. You're in for an incredible journey. He recorded somewhere between 800 and 1,000 songs and he didn't just stick to one genre either; he sang country, rhythm and blues, rock'n'roll, ballads and gospel amongst others, and he did them all amazingly. You were completely right when you said that there will never be another Elvis, he's the best that ever was and ever will be, no-one else even comes close. I've been an Elvis fan for more than 50 years now and he still never ceases to amaze me. You also need to learn a little about the man and his life. He was a truly kind, caring, loving and very generous humanitarian. He loved his fans and appreciated that he wouldn't be where he was without them and he never forgot where he came from either. He gave a lot to charity, but he did it quietly behind the scenes and not just for the publicity. Perhaps you could watch a couple of documentaries about him, such as 'Elvis and the Black Community' th-cam.com/video/xd1pXw1DmsA/w-d-xo.html and 'Elvis A Generous Heart'. Thank you for such a great reaction and for wanting to dive more into Elvis; you won't regret it.
OMG I adore Elvis he rocked everything he sang , when he sings gospel songs I get goosebumps 😍 I was 4 or 5 when he died, I remember my mom crying her eyes out, she worked as a waitress at the time and had tickets to see him in what turned out to be his last concert she had to work a business party so that made it worse. 😭😭😭😭 If you want another new artist try listening to Freddy Fender his song Wasted Days and Wasted Nights💕or Before The Next Teardrop Falls, much love and respect as always 🤗😘😍💪
I don’t think Elvis can sing a bad song or sing badly. He’s truly iconic. I think I’ve listened to about 700 songs & I loved everyone of them. 🥹🥹🎸🕺🏻🎸🎤🌹🌹🕯️🕯️🤷♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️Love from the USA. 😁😁🥰🥰
As an Elvis fan this guy was good singing he was a master of it ,,hey he was good at all songs loved of him his emotions would changed to suit each song and made it so personal to him, he a permanent fixture in my brain. I love this song its so powerful and he tells the story very well you become absorbed in the moment. NEVER can anyone that can replace him he was a powerhouse and can reduce me to tears
Craig, it's so wonderful that you'd never heard this until today! I've heard it many times and honestly don't know if it was a "hit" or not. What a nice surprise for you! Thank you for sharing your reaction with us! All the best from the U.S.
Yes yes and yes. I’m 55 and been listening to Elvis almost daily since watching that Hawaii concert in 1973 at 6 yrs old. You will always get the chills/goosebumps when he sings. He will not tire you. He was an angel in human form. No other explanation.
The Aloha concert was televised world-wide via satellite. 1.5 Billion people watched this concert. The 1st ever in history. This man is amazing. Such a powerful voice. Love him. 👏👍🇿🇦
Great reaction. You Gave Me A Mountain was on Elvis' set list of (almost) every concert from 1972 to his last concert on June 26, 1977. You said you know his hits so you will not react to them unless we told you otherwise. I would really like you to react to Suspicious Minds live in Las Vegas (August 1970). The performance differs from the well-known single version but here you can experience the cheer fun Elvis had while performing. It is a must-see really. Another clip that gives you great insight would be Can't Help Falling In Love, as his routine show closer, performed live on April 9, 1972 in Hampton Roads VA. In the Burning Love reaction you wondered why the crowd was as tame as it was. (That was because it was broadcasted live worldwide by satellite). Here you see how crowds responded during a regular tour show and you get a glimpse of Elvis' special relationship with his fans. I am listening to Elvis all my life but this gives me goosebumps every time I'll watch this clip.
Elvis could express sad emotions and struggles with such incredible beauty, that I consider it healing & inspiring just to listen to his beautiful voice. All of the Aloha concert is worth listening to. Some of my other favorites are "Without Love," a very early one called "First In Line," "Fool," & "A Fool such as I." Enjoy.
Just Pretend, live version, 1970; An American Trilogy, What Now My Love, Fever, I’ll Remember You, Welcome To My World, My Way … all from the Aloha From Hawaii concert … all the songs from that concert are stellar!
Esta una JOYA , en la historia del GOSPELS , que interpretacion mas extraordinaria , graves ,agudios , rasguidos , orquesta , coros , todo espectacular , MUY BUEN TRABAJO 👏👏👏
Ah, such a fun challenge you have given us. Like you mentioned, Elvis has sooo many songs out there, but like you, I grew up hearing all the "top" ones over and over. This was a new one for me, and it was a good one. Written by Marty Robins, I read that Elvis made this his own and performed it well, as he was able to tap into his raw emotion as this was around the same time that he and Priscilla were going through their divorce. I was going to recommend "That's Alright Mama", but I think you might know that one. So go with the other suggestions you get as I am sure folks will give you what you ask for. Thank you as always "monkey"...for your reaction 😉🙃
This has been a favorite of my for awhile now I know I couldn't imagine not having my son in my life, another great one in my opinion by Elvis you should react to is ... What Now my Love ...
Me too, back when I was 17 living in Maryland in 1974 - University of Maryland - FirsT words out of his mouth after thousands of women had been screaming their heads off was, "Hello, I'm Wayne Newton!" Just "floored the place"!! What a great sense of humor Elvis had too......a truly LEGENDARY PERFORMER!!!!!
What a lot of people do not know about Elvis Presley's lineage.....is that he has a mixture of ethnicity in him.....greek, jewish, norgwegian, american indian, etc!! You can tell by his facial features, his voice - particularly high-pitched like american indians, and his strong and precise movements when he performs. His face / facial features have been compared to ancient greek statues such as Apollo and others. His face reminds me of the face of the Statue of Liberty!! What can ANYONE say??? AN AMERICAN LEGEND FOR ALL TIME FOR THE WHOLE WORLD.....AND A LEGENDARY PERFORMER!!!
You "gave" me a mountain is one of Elvis' great live performance songs. So much power behind this song and it was popular at a low point of his life when he and Precilla were splitting up so I can only imagine how bittersweet it must have been for him to sing.
Elvis. Was amazing for sure. You gave me a mountain was written by a country singer named Mary Robbins who also recorded it. I would love for you to listen to Marty Robbins. He had a song called Love Me and another called My Woman, My Woman, My Wife.
Craig .. the ultimate Elvis song is, If I Can Dream, the 68 comeback special, in the white suit. This was very shortly after Martin Luther King was killed in Memphis. His death affected Elvis, because he respected everything King stood for. As I understand even though Elvis did not write this song, when he decided to record it, he sat with the writer and they made changes to fit how Elvis felt. It will move you to your core.
This was never a popular song and most people have never heard of it before, but it is one of his most beautiful songs ever recorded. Check out "Last Farewell" by Elvis Presley and "Green, Green Grass of Home" they won't disappoint you!
My husband was a huge Elvis fan he passed away in 2012 he planned his own funeral he wanted an Elvis funeral and that's what he got he was dressed in his Elvis clothes and all Elvis music was played this was one of the songs and so was my way
Sweetie, we’ve heard them all 1000 times. And we’ll just keep listening and watching. He was all ours and we loved him. Literally to death. One of my lesser known faves is “Green Green Grass of Hime”. And I don’t believe there is a live. Sadly. The story behind this recording was sweet. Elvis heard it on the radio while on his bus. He loved it so much that he personally called the radio dj and asked him to play it again. Then he called back and said play it again. They ended up playing the song for 6 hours for Elvis that night until he learned it. I love Elvis.
Elvis kept many items given to him by fans. On one of my trips to Graceland, they had that jumpsuit on display as well as the large red lei that was given to him by a fan that you see him wearing in this video. They also had the crown on display that was given to him by a fan at the end of this concert!
There's so much phenomenal stuff it's hard to decide what to recommend; i'm suggesting "Tomorrow Never Comes" at because of his voice; this isn't a live performance but has some wonderful still shots; the point of this song is his voice - it starts out slow then builds & gets stronger & more powerful until his last line which is so powerful it will blow you off your seat; thx for your reaction & glad to see how much you're enjoying & appreciating him; i've been watching & listening to him since 1956 when i was 13 & i think i appreciate him more now than i did when i was young.
A good Elvis song that is not well known and is a little country is “clean up your own backyard”. Also another is Crawfish from (film King Creole). These are from movies.
Beautiful reaction ❤❤❤❤Beautiful song Beautiful man Beautiful voice 🙏🙏🙏
God was showing off when he created Elvis both in looks and talent
He is perfect as usual
I said it once and I’ll say it again! There will NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER BE ANOTHER LIKE Him!!!
You will enjoy your Elvis journey 🎶🎤🎧💜
Nobody could sing or perform like Elvis. 🎶💕🎶
"What Now My Love" is an unbelievable live performance by Elvis.

This performance still moves me to tears. I remember watching this concert when it was broadcast live from Hawaii. It was fantastic! He definitely earned the title of "King" of rock and roll.
Elvis is always #1 !!!!!!

If I Can Dream is the greatest performance of all time. The soul and heart he put into that live performance in 1968 is one of a kind for generations.
Elvis. Can sing a song ,like no one.
Elvis has amazing gospel music
My favorite Elvis song has always been "Kentucky Rain." You also can't go wrong with his gospel songs, such as "He Touched Me," "Reach Out To Jesus," "Take My Hand, Precious Lord," to name a few.
What a voice......omg.......! Tq
Mine too
Love Kentucky rain 👍

Elvis, Forever My Darling, Memories, I Will Remember You all beautiful songs

Best looking man, no work on his face.
One of the greats.. Love all his music.. His gospel music will move you
The greatest performer of all times. Tomorrow Never Comes' is also a great song that takes you on a journey with his great voice.
I enjoy his CD of gospel songs. They are beautiful.
Listen to another song from the Aloha Concert called " What Now My Love". Also, everyone knows the song "Danny Boy," but no one sings it like Elvis. He is the King❤❤❤
You will love everything Elvis came our with. They say he recorded over 800 songs. Also he won 4 Grammys on gospel music. He is in every hall of fame
Welcome to the Elvis rabbit hole. You're in for an incredible journey. As a long time Elvis fan, I can assure you, all his songs are amazing. His voice, his presence and his passion ❤️❤️
The POWER Elvis lets loose in this song has amazed me since I was 12

Elvis never had a bad song, some were very trivial but they were always fun and good.
I absolutely loved this, there is a reason he is such a legend. thank you so much.

Originally by Marty Robbins. A great song. ❤❤❤❤❤

I love his gospel music…❤️❤️❤️ I grew up on it. He was my dad’s favorite. I Saw Mama Crying in the Chapel was the family fave.
He is the Greatest Singer there ever was or will be. We lost him way too soon.

What Now My Love from rehearsal of this concert really shows Elvis’ incredible vocal range
I believe is a beautiful gospel from Elvis
He is so fantastic
Sweetie, we’ve heard them all 1000 times. And we’ll just keep listening and watching. He was all ours and we loved him. Literally to death.
One of my lesser known faves is “Green Green Grass of Hime”. And I don’t believe there is a live. Sadly. The story behind this recording was sweet.

Michael Hutchence did especially when he performed live! RIP Michael 😭🙏🏻💔 and Elvis 😭🙏🏻💔

Alot of people have never heard him sing kupawepo Love you more today than yesterday have always been an Elvis fan
To hear Elvis' vocal range, his tender side listen to " Sweet Angeline" . You won't be disappointed.
A good Elvis song that is not well known and is a little country is “clean up your own backyard”. Also another is Crawfish from (film King Creole). These are from movies.
