    **What I Ate on this Omega Monday:
    1 can sardines (with mustard)
    1 serving Mackerel/cod liver Salad
    1 can oysters
    4 oz salmon bellies
    1 can sardines with 1/2 tbsp bacon grease
    1244 Calories, 78g Protein, 109g Fat, 6g carbs
    Mackerel/Cod Liver Salad: 1 can cod livers, 2 can mackerel, 1 tbsp mayo, salt
    You can buy salmon bellies from a fish monger or from Asian groceries that have a seafood department
    I air fry them at 400F until crispy, about 10 min

    I loved your livestream about the Omega Challenge. Although i don't need to lose weight, I struggle to get ny glucose numbers down. They are usually in the high 90s and can go as high as 110. So I'm hoping this will help me get my numbers down!!!😊😊

    Im getting use to the little fishes. But i have to add a little mayo and dijon and a boiled egg. I figured that is better than none at all 😂

    I love the apron! I didn’t do the challenge but I bought the little fishies to do a private challenge starting Monday. I certainly am going to try the room temperature bacon fat.

    I'm from Brighton Ontario. Your salmon bellies I buy from Farm Boy and cook them up for my dog. He absolutely loves them. I've never thought of cooking them for me I'll have to share my dog's when I make it again 😅

    Also for those who can find them, mussels are very high in omega 3
    Mussels contain more omega-3 fatty acids ounce-for-ounce than clams, lobster, shrimp or scallops! They contain nearly 700mg of omega-3 per serving.Good for variety and protein 👍

      They also are really high in manganese. I wanted them just for that reason, I didn't even know about the omega3 content. I had to order some through Amazon.

    I love your Apron and the plate et.Cetera and the food...
    I always do my salmon in bacon grease if I can help it.
    My husband.
    's favorite way to have salmon and almost the only way he likes. It is. I lay in a PAN, usually a PAN that I have baked bacon and I bake it almost all the way and then I pour heavy cream on top just a drizzle and I bake it for another 5 minutes. It's beautiful

      That pan baked salmon/bacon/cream dish sounds amazing! How long do you bake the salmon before adding the cream?

      @KetogenicWoman I usually do salmon fillets or steaks for about 10 minutes on 400° and a whole side about 15 to 20 minutes depending on thickness.
      Then pour heavy cream over and bake another 5 minutes..
      The cream gives a little forgiveness if I happen to over cook it 🙄

    Hi Anita! I always enjoy your videos! I got the Ninja Foodi Grill 5 in 1 (your older version) based on your recommendation and love it. Question: How do you decide when to use the grill vs air fry function?

      This package I bought from a local supermarket, right now salmon are in season here. But normally I only ever see it in Asian markets.

    Do you worry about getting too much mercury from the fish? Thank you for the information I would love to try omega-3 Monday!

      I do not! The smaller the fish the least chance of mercury. Dr. Boz says you would have to eat 800 cans to get the min amount of mercury that is considered a problem.

    Hi Anita started my Carnivore a month ago watching your videos.Im still confused on protein and fat. I need to lose 25 pounds ,I'm 200 now.any advise ???

      There are no perfect macros. Start with 70% calories from fat, 30% calories from protein and see how you do with that and then you can tweak from there. Some need to go higher fat, some need to go lower. Also it is helpful to use this calculator to figure out how many total grams protein and fat approx: criticalcarnivore.netlify.app/ Be sure to read the paragrah underneath the calculation to see what the recommendations are (as aguide)
