I started today with the eggy pizza thing and it was delicious, and the smell as it was cooking was amazing.. thank you for all your delicious recipes and for always having something on your site that I can try to get me back on track… I find it very hard to loose weight ,been keto since 2022 but sometimes I just yearn for something different and that’s when it all goes sideways for me… I’m going to keep trawling through your videos trying to do better this time..

Before we do our eggs we sauté garlic, psrsley, oregano, thyme, chive, turmeric, ginger, black pepper and cayenne pepper, bayleaf in ghee to really maximise the anti inflammatory benefits of the bulbs comolementing the fats, but mostly because in our country Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean we always use alot of seasoning (spices) for every meal so our food is undoubtedly the most flavourful in the world! My little heart warrior loves his eggs!
These days I always feel good but my ketones did come up so that was nice. Yes people do it for various lengths of time. Sometimes just having a break from all the food choices (especially for keto people) is a good thing.

This video popped up in my feed yesterday. Perfect timing cause at 60 I'm on a slow slow journey and am starting to get frustrated. I don't get cravings because of the high protein but I need something to kick start something. I'm just going to do 2 days to start. Those magic muffins are TO DIE FOR! I made half a batch and added the True Lemon and a packet of Truvia. I tried one after they cooled and almost didn't get them into the fridge to get cold. So good!!!

@@KetogenicWoman 😂. 3 days n counting. Mostly I’m not thinking about food and not super hungry. I’ve made the waffles, soft boiled eggs, the pizza etc. my husband has done it because of the variety. Thst does make it easier. Also I made your lemon muffins but I didn’t have any crystal lemon so I used lmnt orange. They were good. I did get some lemon crystal today and made more muffins. Actually I preferred the orange flavored ones! I find the egg salad to be very filling. We eat it with puffed cheese crisps. Thanks for all your hard work in making these recipes and videos. This was the reset I needed
Hi, Anita, just wanted to say THANK YOU for all your awesome content! I’ve done a few egg fasts, but I haven’t been very inventive on them, just kind of “getting through.” Your recipes will definitely help make it much more enjoyable! I also recently discovered Chosen mayo (already was using the spray avocado oil.) This mayo is scrumptious! Other brands have canola and/or seed oils which I DO NOT consume. They also just taste like flavorless fat compared to Chosen (which has tarragon in it!) Thanks again! 🤗🧡
While eggs and I have a like/hate relationship. Sometimes I like them sometimes 🤢. I can use them in recipes as long as egg is not the star. That said I will definitely be trying the lemon bars (or muffins). I will experiment with flavours using extracts I make myself. I will even try the “pizza”. Thank you for sharing.
Ok so I tried the lemon bars and have made them in lime and LMNT caramel flavour (I know that is not the full name of the flavour but it’s all I’ve got in my mind right now). Yummy for all. I will be making all three so I can do the egg fast starting tomorrow. Both my husband and I need a reset. He will have a greater variety as he likes eggs. I even pickle eggs for him.
I want to add to the “why” of the egg fast that this is an elimination diet, for those who suspect issues with histamines, plant toxins, leptins, etc. I discovered when I did this fast that I felt wonderful and soon after, I did carnivore.

Yesterday I made, egg muffins and bars. I only have one silicone muffin pan and I'm not know for patience. Lol A stick of kerrygold, a brick of cream cheese and a dozen pastured eggs. Redmond salt, vanilla stevia drops and pumpkin pie spice. I'm very pleased that it turned out "bready".
This is a wonderful video to help us with the egg fast. Thanks so much. Have you tried shirred eggs. I love them. Butter eggs Parmesan cheese little heavy cream and I add bacon bits. Bake 375 for 8-13 minutes depending on how done you want the eggs. I haven’t mastered my time yet. I want running yolks but firmly done whites. Yummy!

I just finished a sardine fast today. I got crazy good numbers (morning fasted blood sugar of 3.8 or 68 and ketones of 3.7) but I felt awful the whole time. Weak and miserable. I'll never do it again. This sounds much more appealing.
Maybe find ways to make sardines attractive? I'm starting my 4th day today of the sardine challenge. I had a bad childhood memory and finally, it made me think of tuna. I added 30 ml of butter for each can of sardine eaten per Dr. Boz's recommendations (could have been bacon fat, olive oil, MCT oil). I have a cruising speed of 2 per day, I can't anymore (I'm not hungry). I added between 20 and 25 grams of fresh critron juice to 2 cans each day. Friday my ketones were at LOW... Then this morning at 3.5 . So before you say you'll never do it again, give yourself a chance.🥰 My first sardine challenge in August was with the recipe from Lisa the Carnivore Doctor. At the end of the 72 hours I had obtained 2.5 ketosis. But I admit that the egg challenge tempts me😬. It will be a nice way of variety to boost my metabolism.
@@pinottepower999 ya I made homemade butter mayo to put on it and tried to make it like tunafish... the taste wasn't great, but I pushed through. I just truly felt awful on the fast.
@@Laura-rk6fv Yeah I understand. You have to listen to your body. I'm the type to try everything before I've said my last word. The first day I only put butter on my sardines and it wasn't great. Then afterwards I thought of lemon. As someone who has never been a fan of fish, this is the only way I could eat it and it worked with the sardines. Some people use hot sauce but I don't like it. Also Dijon mustard, which I find weird. But until we try, who knows. Good luck to you in your choices.☺

I think many people give up because of wasted ingredients when food influencers only share the successes and none of the failures. You have saved a lot of people disappointment! Kudos Also thanks for showing the amino acid that has a sweet flavor. People don't know about those options Just for reference, The pronunciation of the sweetener Erythritol starts with a sound like [*AIR*] as in errant. Ery-thri-tol sounds like "AIR-Rith -Ri-Tall" or " AIRY -three -tall" if that is easier to remember. Thanks for all your videos and advice, you are very easy to enjoy, and I love your outtakes!
Hi Anita! You look great! I’ve been battling with all over body hives. I don’t know what is the cause. I’m in the process of having allergy testing. So farm I’m allergic to tree pollen, cats, dogs, Guinea pigs…the garden variety of environmental allergens. I’m going back for food allergy testing. For now I’m back to basic just eggs, meats(beef, chicken), bacon, and butter, salt. I even eliminate black pepper. I remember that you use white pepper instead of black…any suggestions?
For anyone who hasn't tried them, Anita's lemon bars (or in this case muffins) are legitimately one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. Be it carnivore, keto or standard - it tastes like a cheesecake bar or a really rich cake - so good - you guys will love them.
A yummy way I make scrambled eggs is to beat in 1 tbsp sour cream with 4 eggs. Cook on very low heat stirring and folding with rubber spatula until done but still slightly moist. Salt and freshly ground pepper is all the seasoning I need. Using "exciting" seasonings sometimes triggers cravings.

Try medium to hard-boiled egg halves with some olive on top and a coating of za'atar (middle eastern) spice on each. It's sooo tasty!

I did alternated day fasting with eating AS MANY EGGS AS POSSIBLE on eating days which was 10 for me. 50 eggs in 10 days. I lost 4 kg in 10 days

@@KetogenicWoman 😂. 3 days n counting. Mostly I’m not thinking about food and not super hungry. I’ve made the waffles, soft boiled eggs, the pizza etc. my husband has done it because of the variety. Thst does make it easier. Also I made your lemon muffins but I didn’t have any crystal lemon so I used lmnt orange. They were good. I did get some lemon crystal today and made more muffins. Actually I preferred the orange flavored ones! I find the egg salad to be very filling. We eat it with puffed cheese crisps. Thanks for all your hard work in making these recipes and videos. This was the reset I needed

Hi, Anita, just wanted to say THANK YOU for all your awesome content! I’ve done a few egg fasts, but I haven’t been very inventive on them, just kind of “getting through.” Your recipes will definitely help make it much more enjoyable! I also recently discovered Chosen mayo (already was using the spray avocado oil.) This mayo is scrumptious! Other brands have canola and/or seed oils which I DO NOT consume. They also just taste like flavorless fat compared to Chosen (which has tarragon in it!) Thanks again! 🤗🧡

I do too we have 5 baby chicks we were able to add to the coup and 5 ducklings went into the little house.
While eggs and I have a like/hate relationship. Sometimes I like them sometimes 🤢. I can use them in recipes as long as egg is not the star. That said I will definitely be trying the lemon bars (or muffins). I will experiment with flavours using extracts I make myself. I will even try the “pizza”.

Ok so I tried the lemon bars and have made them in lime and LMNT caramel flavour (I know that is not the full name of the flavour but it’s all I’ve got in my mind right now). Yummy for all. I will be making all three so I can do the egg fast starting tomorrow. Both my husband and I need a reset. He will have a greater variety as he likes eggs. I even pickle eggs for him.

I want to add to the “why” of the egg fast that this is an elimination diet, for those who suspect issues with histamines, plant toxins, leptins, etc. I discovered when I did this fast that I felt wonderful and soon after, I did carnivore.

Yesterday I made, egg muffins and bars. I only have one silicone muffin pan and I'm not know for patience. Lol
A stick of kerrygold, a brick of cream cheese and a dozen pastured eggs. Redmond salt, vanilla stevia drops and pumpkin pie spice. I'm very pleased that it turned out "bready".
I have lost about 50 lbs, still 100 to go. Will have to try this.❤
This is a wonderful video to help us with the egg fast. Thanks so much. Have you tried shirred eggs. I love them. Butter eggs Parmesan cheese little heavy cream and I add bacon bits. Bake 375 for 8-13 minutes depending on how done you want the eggs. I haven’t mastered my time yet. I want running yolks but firmly done whites. Yummy!

I just finished a sardine fast today. I got crazy good numbers (morning fasted blood sugar of 3.8 or 68 and ketones of 3.7) but I felt awful the whole time. Weak and miserable. I'll never do it again. This sounds much more appealing.
Maybe find ways to make sardines attractive? I'm starting my 4th day today of the sardine challenge. I had a bad childhood memory and finally, it made me think of tuna. I added 30 ml of butter for each can of sardine eaten per Dr. Boz's recommendations (could have been bacon fat, olive oil, MCT oil). I have a cruising speed of 2 per day, I can't anymore (I'm not hungry). I added between 20 and 25 grams of fresh critron juice to 2 cans each day. Friday my ketones were at LOW... Then this morning at 3.5 . So before you say you'll never do it again, give yourself a chance.🥰 My first sardine challenge in August was with the recipe from Lisa the Carnivore Doctor. At the end of the 72 hours I had obtained 2.5 ketosis. But I admit that the egg challenge tempts me😬. It will be a nice way of variety to boost my metabolism.
@@pinottepower999 ya I made homemade butter mayo to put on it and tried to make it like tunafish... the taste wasn't great, but I pushed through. I just truly felt awful on the fast.
@@Laura-rk6fv Yeah I understand. You have to listen to your body. I'm the type to try everything before I've said my last word. The first day I only put butter on my sardines and it wasn't great. Then afterwards I thought of lemon. As someone who has never been a fan of fish, this is the only way I could eat it and it worked with the sardines. Some people use hot sauce but I don't like it. Also Dijon mustard, which I find weird. But until we try, who knows. Good luck to you in your choices.☺

What a fun and educational video about egg recipes. Thanks for the advice about not using baking powder to fluff the recipe. It's very important for people to show failed recipes. I think many people give up because of wasted ingredients when food influencers only share the successes and none of the failures. You have saved a lot of people disappointment! Kudos

Just for reference, The pronunciation of the sweetener Erythritol starts with a sound like [*AIR*] as in errant. Ery-thri-tol sounds like "AIR-Rith -Ri-Tall" or " AIRY -three -tall" if that is easier to remember.

Hi Anita! You look great! I’ve been battling with all over body hives. I don’t know what is the cause. I’m in the process of having allergy testing. So farm I’m allergic to tree pollen, cats, dogs, Guinea pigs…the garden variety of environmental allergens. I’m going back for food allergy testing. For now I’m back to basic just eggs, meats(beef, chicken), bacon, and butter, salt. I even eliminate black pepper. I remember that you use white pepper instead of black…any suggestions?
I do have quite a few sensitivities as well. Maybe consider lion (beef, water, salt) for 30 days, then slowly add back 1 thing at a time.

For anyone who hasn't tried them, Anita's lemon bars (or in this case muffins) are legitimately one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. Be it carnivore, keto or standard - it tastes like a cheesecake bar or a really rich cake - so good - you guys will love them.

I love poached eggs with brown butter. So delicious. Going to try boiled eggs next
A yummy way I make scrambled eggs is to beat in 1 tbsp sour cream with 4 eggs. Cook on very low heat stirring and folding with rubber spatula until done but still slightly moist. Salt and freshly ground pepper is all the seasoning I need. Using "exciting" seasonings sometimes triggers cravings.
