Not a lot, but still proves Eggman has the capabilities to do so. Claim 3, “Metal Sonic’s ‘AI’ means he is Sonic”: Again, this claim is false. 1. Eggman has created robots with AI before, and 2. How do you know it’s Sonic’s free will, Metal Sonic’s beliefs goes against Sonic’s. Some examples are the E-100 series, all to Omega, Orbot, Cubot, Sage, and Gemeral, are examples of AI created by Eggman. Claim 4, “Metal Sonic, in Sonic Heroes, proves he is Sonic”: This is a huge misunderstanding, his diologue proves he has a superiority complex, believing that his purpose will mean he’s the best. Metal Sonic says, “Long time no see Sonic, My loathsome copy.” You might say this means he’s saying he is Sonic, but no, he follows up with saying, “I was created to defeat you, Sonic, but no matter how hard I try, I can’t. (keyword here is created)” This shows that he was created to defeat Sonic, and that the only way to prove he is “the better Sonic” is to fulfill his purpose of defeating him, this is even supported by the final boss music, ‘What I’m Made of’. where one of the lyrics, it says, “Let me show you just what I’m made of” proving the point of Metal Sonic trying to prove he is the superior. For one more piece of evidence to support my claim, in Sonic Heroes, Metal Sonic explains, “All living beings Kneel before me!” Do I have to say it? He says all living things, if he was Sonic, then he wouldn’t fit in this category. Claim 5, “Bad future means Sonic dies”: Although this sounds good on paper, when you lay it all out you realize how bad it is. In Sonic CD, you get a good future if you either A. Get all 7 Time Stones, B. Destroy all Generators, or C. Destroy all Metal Sonic Holograms, doing nine of these things get you the bad future, meaning Sonic just didn’t do any of these things at Stardust Speedway cause of the Metal Sonic Race, which we know is the only zone to have a bad future, and if Sonic dies, it means all zones in CD would have a bad future, but no, only Stardust Speedway has one, so no, Sonic did not die, he just didn’t save Stardust Speedway cause of the race. We don’t even need evidence to support my claim, we just need common sense. The Roboticizer in the mainline Sonic timeline, doesn’t exist, it’s not canon, meaning Roboticization isn’t canon too. So if Eggman Roboticized Sonic, then it wouldn’t line up with the canon timeline, making the theory false.
