The last bit of Bizarro Clark was able to resurface from Doomsday by asking Clark to end his suffering
And it's messed up because Lex turned Bizarro into that.
Nice touch that his eyes became normal again.
@@danielhausser8038 well not really normal lol
Bizarro took away from Doomsday ngl. The writers were clearly like "OH DON'T FORGET IT'S BIZARRO CLARK!"
We know dude we didn't forget
I feel bad for bizarro n how he asked Superman to end his life peacefully
I love that they showed Clark just gracefully pushing him in instead of punching him in after seeing that Bizarro was willing. Very Supermanlike
Well, it kind of depends... Bizarro and him got to be friends, hence why Superman shown mercy... But Superman has declared himself being not so polite with people that actually makes him angry. I mean, there's a comic where a guy sold weapon to kids, and these kids went and aimed at a little girl. Superman went to the house of this guy, and told him: "ONe minute ago, I saw a little girl screaming because she was staring down the barrel of a gun. She was nine, and she will remember it for the rest of her life." And immediately, Superman shots the gun the bullet travels right to the nose of the guy, and Superman grabs it before it kills him and and states: "Now you will, too."
Superman is savage when he's pissed.
So Clark extended Bizarro's death suffering. Nice.
@@robertoj.9509wow, that's savage 🔥
@@robertoj.9509 Yes but my point was Clark was about to punch him not out of anger but simply out of necessity as Doomsday was an out of control monster not a being who knew exactly what they were doing and so when he saw that Bizarro came back in control and was gonna allow him to kill him and not going to fight him on it Clark then proceeded to gracefully push him because the need to punch or forcefully toss him in was no longer present.
Clark has definitely been savage to doomsday when the need arises as he used his heat vision to completely annihilate an army of Doomsday's in one sweep in Superman/Batman apocalypse movie.

How a tv show managed to make Supe vs Doomsday 100 times more engaging and fun to watch than a colossal movie studio with an infinite budget is beyond me.
Seriously. 👍🏼💪🏼👍🏼❤️
Lol, don't make me laugh, with that derp doomsday xD
You are paid
The fight in this crapy show was so azz and corny lmao
This show was amazing. Tf you talkin about
The charecter work here is just soo good@LouisTLW
The show did Superman more Justice than DCEU and WBs.
Even with low quality, it was worth watching.
And I'm sitting here thinking the acting, graphics, and pacing is hot garbage.
@@aegisstari1494what were you excepting? 4k quality? marvel hero’s to come swoop in? The show was planned for 7 seasons but had to close it out with 4 due to James Gunn Dc verse around the corner.
@ I was expecting better. A better lead actor, a more mainstream superman story, and NOT low effort 720p CGI on a 4k backdrop. The actors have no idea how the show will end up edited, you can tell when they "fly" or use their super speed. One sec the two kids are gaping at their dad, the next their gaping faces are stretched to move at super speed. In my opinion this is a fair bit worst than smallville and not much better than 1988 superboy. The supergirl show was better produced, had better graphics, and better acting and thats saying something. I'm a major superman and DC fan, and I'd rather have NOTHING AT ALL than what this show amalgamated to. Why? because low quality and low effort only hurts the franchise and ensures less people will be interested in the future because people can tell that the people in charge don't care about the characters at all, only enough to get views and get paid. That doomsday fight was embarrassing to watch and I don't like how they did my boy. If you enjoyed the show, then the show was made for you, not for hardcore fan of the man the blue. To each his own.
Characterization>>>>Visuals and cinematography.
@@aegisstari1494 I am a huge DC fan. I loved the Snyder cut Justice League, was in late teens early 20s during Smallville which I also loved and I think this series was great for it to be a regular t.v. sitcom. The only t.v. superman that comes close is Smallville in my opinion.
How in the hell did cw give us heart-felt doomsday death and make it beautiful.well done.
Because unlike the other shows that came before it I’m just gonna come to the conclusion this show isn’t as corporately controlled and had significantly less studio interference. I feel like this is apart of the creators’ intentional vision for the most part at least.
@@terryprice1691 - Sadly this 4th season was butchered by studio interferences; "Fewer episodes, budget cuts in half, can't bring some of the actors you wanted back, etc etc"
It's honestly very impressive what the CW was able to give us with only 10 episodes on a relatively small budget, sure they had to rely on flashbacks a bit too much to pad the runtime, but considering all the factors that were against them, they really knocked that one out of the park...
*Superman & Lois* made Tyler Hoechlin my favorite living live action Superman, alongside Brandon Routh from *Superman Returns* and the Arrowverse *Crisis on Infinite Earths*
(just throwing it out there, I'm not Snyder hater, and I find the Mos+BvS: Ultimate Edition+Zack Snyder's Justice League to be a very well crafter trilogy, and I actually like Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, just not as much as Hoechlin & Routh).
What a time to be alive for DC enjoyers; *The Penguin* aired at the same time as *Superman & Lois* , and James Gunn's *Creature Commandos* started out yesterday, and it started with a bang!
@@AMysticLegendHBO didn't fund S&L or help in any way to produce the show. The reason it looks so much better is because by reducing the amount of episodes per season there was more money to provide into each episode.
Doomsday is meant to be an unstoppable and remorseless killing machine, but having Bizarro Superman as Doomsday in this show makes this ending work.
@@legodcbricks3306 well they had a bigger budget and flexibility. Reducing the episodes doesn't 100% help with that or else with the other shows the early episodes in a season would look better and then go down as it gets later would it not. I always figured HBO or some other backer helped
2:47 that happiness, yet sadness deep inside in Bizarro's eyes can really tell he just want to put an end to his suffering and I felt so much weight about it.. This really hits hard.
Yeah, plus he didn't want to hurt anyone else. Lex kept mixing him up, but his mind kept remembering in the end his own family and the family he could have killed had he listened to Lex.
@@DavidNicholson101 I like to think being in the light of the sun let his Kryptonian biology purge the mutagen in him long enough to give him one last moment of clarity, not to die as a monster...but a hero who lost his way.
Also good god the music of this scene? I can't help but start to tear up...
Now I know why they made blizzaro doomsday. Since he is weak to yellow sun, that was the only way to kill him.
IKR
He should’ve did that the 1st time instead of losing his heart
To be fair, during the first fight, Doomsday didn't stay down long enough for Superman to be able to even take him that far. John's hammer was thrown rom a far enough distance that it delivered more power than what Superman could dish out. The impact between those 2 unstoppable forces shattered every bone in his body, giving him a moment of clarity in such a way he's never had before.
@@brandoncruise6398 that hammer was pretty OP. Although if it was used earlier, Doomsday would prob become immune to it. Clark didn't realize it was bizzaro or at least stretegize his weaknesses when it showed up the first time.
@anubhavdassarma7230Sups recognised him as soon as he saw.
2:40 when Doomsday raised his hand that way I recalled that BvS scene with Clark's dad lmao

@@faizanmehmood4579 ah yeah, it was Man of Steel, thanks for the correction
@@faizanmehmood4579 Well, the sacrifice wasn't for "others", it was to prevent Clark from revealing himself. "Son, this is what I signed up for. So long as your secret's safe, I'm okay." No way people are bashing THIS HARD on the CGI. Never heard of a limited budget? The budget is half the size, or less, than a Marvel series and still has twice the number of episodes for each season. The fact that they still pulled this scene off this good just says how great the series is.
Right? Considering how the CW shortened the season and cut the budget & they were STILL able to make the final episode as good as they did is actually a minor miracle.
Lmao no excuses
Exactly. The intention is perfect.
It's still better than the shit CGI from The Flash (tv show or movie, your pick)
If you don't have the budget for it, then don't do a fight like this, because the cgi is TERRIBLE.
Damn bizarro coming back at the end got me😭.
Superman and his boys reminded me of Goku and his sons
Doomsday faced the monster in the mirror unlike lex who never could. One became the hero he always wanted to be and the other gave into the hate and lost everything.
Very well said
nah. they BOTH lost everything. he just realized in a moment of clarity that this wasn't worth it. and decided to forgo an eternity of pain and lonliness. heroism isn't removing yourself from the equasion..heroism would have been him working to actively redeem himself. It doens't count as a heroic sacrifice if your bad behavior is the reason for the sacrifice in the first place.
@@alexsolomon8127 You really missed the point. He was a good man before and his present state is not his doing it was Lex. He didn't just remove himself he gave up any chance of ever seeing the woman he loves, his world , his kids. He did so because he understood he couldn't control what he become and it would likely cost someone else the same thing. He in the end put other peoples needs ahead of his own at the cost of his life.
@@magnus33john you do remember the episode where he CONSENTED to the transformation, right?

The peace of letting go of all the baggage weighing down on him. All the anger. All the h8. The pain. He accepted that it was time.
Exactly.
This is pretty damn impressive for a TV show.
I knew Bizarro would become good eventually. Nice that his eyes turned normal. Poor fellow from the beginning. Now he is at peace. 😢
but why though? did the hammer knock some sense in him? wtf was the hammer made of to KO doomsday? Im too lazy to watch lol
@@highjim7778I think the hammer had solar energy from the yellow sun which kind of makes sense because Superman’s abilities get disabled on a red sun, so I imagine a yellow sun would weaken bizzaro maybe??? Idk, just a thought. I just know that a yellow sun cannot heal bizzaro.
I think the yellow sun made him remember
@@highjim7778 It's a hammer powered by kinetic energy. Steele actually explains in the first season that the longer the distance it travels the more powerful the blow is. And even when thrown from a relatively short distance (I forget exactly how far, Steele explains it) it rivals a punch from Superman himself. So if it travels far enough then yeah, it's enough to kill Superman, or in this case Doomsday.
@@highjim7778The hammer damaged his skull and his Brain
Doomsday's increased regeneration completely healed his brain resulting in his consciousness and memories as Bizarro Superman come back

That way was actually pretty obvious from the beginning. Not even the analysis in the fortress mentioned that.

In a final moment of lucidity, the true Kal-El trapped inside Doomsday, asks Superman for a merciful end.
Loved this episode ! Thanks 4 sharing !😊
Bizarro is such a good antagonist. Seeing his beautiful blue eyes and him telling Clack to push him to the sun is proven that he is no villain. All he wants is to be the real Superman, but, when his suffering ends, his soul can finally rest in peace.
This was incredible, seeing that their budget was nothing compared to the movies
Its the sendoff that superman did touching the hope symbol still there on doomsday’s chest 😭
So good 😢
the symbol backwards though😅
I haven't seen a single second of this show until now. That was beautiful.
Doomsday just asked Superman to kill him was anything that I never seen.
Huh?
He actually did u saw the way he looked at him and was like it’s ok just do it
Yeah, inside still was Bizarro the inverse Superman with tragedy.
True
He just asked this in the comics for very different reasons.
My god the score to this show was phenomenal..... added so much emotion to all of these scenes... I will greatly miss this show.
That slow-mo punch dodge (as seen in the thumbnail) was clearly an homage to both cuts of _Justice League._
I'll say this again and again. This is the best show CW has ever produced. It's too good and I'm sorry to see it end.
"I'm tired, boss..." That's what I get from Doomsday/Bizzaro/Alternate Clark from this scene.
@iamnotanuggetblackhart5103 Come on, man. Don't remind me of the Green Mile. 😓
gotta be honest 0:44 - that landing looks like a late 90s computer game cutscene
A truly good send-off, and it's heartwarming to see him stop all the pain and violence he was causing. It's almost as if it's what brought him back in the first place to even be able to end it.
It's amazing how they managed to make Doomsday, an uncontrollable monster, the embodiment of chaos, into a character with actual development and personality while making the most comic accurate design in live action with such a low budget.
Once again, we are reminded why John Henry's hammer is the coolest and most badass. No one, not even Doomsday, is safe from it. Boom.

Doomsday/Bizzaro: Superman I thought I knew what I was getting into with lex, I thought I was being a good soldier I’ve made mistakes it’s time for me to let go
Superman: we can figure out another way for you to go back to your world back to your Family
Doomsday/Bizzaro: I can’t go back to my world not like this please just do it

As someone who hasn't watched any of this I was like "Yay Thor's come to -... wait..."
Doomsday raising his hand got me as much as his eyes changing back to blue. Yes, he was Doomsday, and Bizarro.
But where he came from, he was also Superman. And that’s who he was at the end.
It would be nice to think that despite everything he got the same ending that Clark did in the final few moments of the show; his own version of the afterlife.
1:34 I love this reference to ZSJL when Steppenwolf attacks Superman and he dodges him
1:38 the way superman tyler hoechlin evaded doomsday punch is similar to superman henry cavill evaded steppenwolf punch in justice league movie (not to be confused with snyder cut). Although snyder cut justice league still retained the scene. Instead of punching, steppenwolf tried to grab superman and superman evaded it

@@shazyzone Yeah, cause Snyder invented those type of Scenes.
