I'll miss Henry Cavill, but one thing I admire about James Gunn, I'll admit, is that he's not afraid to get comic booky. He's pulling obscure characters and ideas from the comics that we've never seen on film before, while most filmmakers are afraid and think it's cheesy. But Gunn isn't afraid. He's a fan of the source material, and he's putting it out there without shame.

What I like about Gunn is he knows how to get you attached to the characters, and knows how to balance comedy with drama. Guardians 3 got me. From sadness at what Rocket went through to SEETHING anger at the High Evolutionary to laughter with Drax and Groot. I enjoyed all 3 Guardians films. That's why I'm optimistic about Superman. And, I'm going to say it, Yondu's death in G2 got me worse than Tony's. Chris Pratt and Michael Rooker are gold together.
Look, I'm really looking forward to the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and many more, but what the world needs right now is this movie. This year we only had 1 good comic book movie, Deadpool and Wolverine, all the rest were either mediocre or garbage The general public and fans need a light in this genre, they need hope in this type of movies, they need to look up, they need Superman

Great point!! Where have been the love stories?? Gunn was handcuffed in gaurdians 3 with what was done in Infinity war and End game so he did his best but wasn’t easy. Also showed us god stuff between rocket and Lila and basically all the tight friendship relations. Was great but we need this again. This movie looks great, could be looking at a 1-2 punch of billion $$ movies this July with Superman & Fantastic 4

What i love about the cinematography is there are so many majestic painting like shots. Which is something i loved about Zack Snyder and DC movies visually standout from Marvel movies.
I think this might be a Superman movie that can be enjoyed by the whole family not just edgelords and people who expect to have their sensibilities catered to exclusively. I think I should be able to watch a Superman movie with my 3 year old and my 10 year old and all of us enjoy it and feel good about it at the end. There is a weird selfishness I've noticed in people between 40 and 20 these days where they want to keep the shitthey grew up with for themselves or make those things appeal only to their bleak adult sensibilities. Superman should be fun and upbeat for everyone. He should be a bit cheesy abd his red trunks are fine how they are. I grew up reading my mom's comics where Superman had to trick a leprechaun into saying his name backwards while his cousin had a horse with a cape that was really a dude cursed into that form. It was fun and it got me into comics. Nowadays if Doomsday isn't splattering Superman's guts by the second film it's too cartoony for people. Grow up , have kids and learn to share the things you liked as a kid with your kids instead of throwing tantrums over those childhood things not being adult enough for you anymore.

Solaris the rogue sun- If it can overpower the effect of our Sun on Supes, it might weaken him enough to be beaten up.

No it it begins to break b4 he can fully extend his punche, half way through his punch connects with it and fully break when he fully extends.
