How many USB ports? Does it have CarPlay and AAuto? Does it have wireless charging? We all know everyone is going to love everything Porsche throws at us, so that's a given from every reviewer I've seen. Still too expensive after options most of us would want. Look forward to a full review.

Nice looking compact luxury SUV. The control panel surrounding the Gear lever is the older generation though and not the refreshed one found on the new Panamera
My is 2017 S. No complaint so far. The best part is Porsche dealer asked what I want to eat from the menu while I wait for my oil change. Lexus only gave me cookie 😪

Very nice interior. I wish they hadn't done that unibrow rear light. One huge plus is that they added traffic jam assist as in option to the 2019 model.
@@markm4123 Nothing wrong, just that in my opinion the signature porsche tail light design was pretty consistent across all the models/years. This seems to change it too much, sort of blends the whole rear tail assembly. I'm having a hard time describing why I don't like it.
@@cucubits ok i get you. although if you haven't seen the car in real life, it looks really small, so i think the light bar makes that car look bigger and more masculine and sporty. the 2018 model looked cute at the back, but to me it looked too feminine. just my opinion

psumiz Sorry but I own an S and the new 2 litre there is only 2 seconds difference in 0-60 and the new adjustments have made it a better suv it’s just mpg preferences
My ex and her Mensa candidate husband just traded in their 2016 Macan base for $51,000 to the 2018 Macan sport $59,000 and I think she has an auto dimming mirror, parking sensors and lane departure warning wow you really are paying for the name. A 4 cylinder Porsche, haahaahhahahahahahahahhehehhehehetetettetetehehhe for 60 grand or 650 a month to lease. All I will say is just this, there is only one Porsche still alive worthy of the Porsche badging the 911 all there other models in recent years are just substitutes. The 3 best Porsches in my opinion where the 911, the 928 and the 944. Everything else unfortunately died with the legends of the late great James Dean and Paul Walker. Again this is just my opinion, if you love Porsche no problem, that's fine.
When other non european car has like 10 button on the console, ppl scream and complain and despise them, when an european car has 20 button, oh it's not too bad, u will get use to it....
i just got a 2017 4cyl macan with 27k on it. nice car. looks brand new...still, that being said i kinda have buyers remorse. its NOT fast and frankly for porsche to put out a product that could easily be overtaken by a honda civic is kinda pathetic... ive never driven a faster one so i cant speak to that but as for this one i wish i would have passed on it
I saw a Macan Silver SUV not yielding to a bus after the bus had waited for a long time before finally there was a gap in traffic so that the bus could finally move away from the bus stop. Sadly, a stupid Macan driver exit from a merge-lane road and speeded up right behind the bus and honked like crazy. The bus driver had waited for what seemed like eternity and finally there was a chance to move away from that bus stop at a busy road. The stupid Macan driver just kept honking. What an idiot! The bus is not as fast as other passenger cars, and we all share the road. Just because your car is faster does not mean that you have the right to tell other drivers to get out of your way. I love Porsche and other cars, just not some of their drivers. I was at a Starbuck and saw that what happened.
What a useless review. No pricing info, no HP, 0-60 times, Cargo space, Seating info and on and on I can go. Save the time and hit skip on this video..
John Lu the chassis it “shares” is extremely minimal. Less than 30% of the Macan has similar parts to a Q5, and those are all items that really don’t make a difference, A-Arms, etc.

Looks like the exterior driving shots are of the base 2.0 liter while the interior driving shots are of the 3.0T S model. Somewhat misleading edits.

Just baught a new 2018 instead with more options. The interior should have had more upgrades for the 2019. The front also is not as nice in person.

Looks like the Porsche designers are taking cues from Lincoln on the rear end with lighting and shape; not necessarily a bad thing.
Connected taillights? Ugly imo. Overall the design is looks nice on the outside, the interior area near the central console is ok--ish.
Completely agree with you on the Lincoln cue. Personally, I don't like it.
Do you know if the vehicle you test drive had the option “power steering plus”? I think that’s standard on US models but an option in Canada.
