They was only two types of sandpaper systems. The Cami (USA) & FEPA known as P grit (European) recently a company introduced a K meaning the sandpaper actually leaves a finer finish than what the number is. 800 cuts like a 800 but leaves a 1000-1200 finish. The subject FLOW-COAT was invented by Jon Kosmoski famous custom painter (house of kolor). After the first session of 3 coats clear let cure sand down 600 then must add 5-10% reducer into clear too flow out. That's were the term flow coat comes from flow out. If no reducer added then its just called re-clear.

Heartbreaking to have your clear coat get jacked up. From the video clip/pics it looked like the scratches were under the clear and in the basecoat. I hate that you had to put another 2 more coats of clear on the truck. I have been there myself before. 😅

Oh yes ... P vs K would be grains per square inch or centimeter. I've not used dura-gold paper for anything but stripping, prep work and shaping.
For compounding McGuire's M105 is my go to, it's got more kick than the UC
Absolutely 💯 I would use duragold for stripping and shaping, and leave the finishing to kovax

Not the only ones, I also spoke to another company and confirmed they're prices have increased on a lot of their products.
Even just on empty gallon cans, price spiked 2.5x

Hi from the UK. Brother change that gun. this is an italco copy of the Satajet 3000 RP. sprays really rough. Try a real sata and you will know what it takes to keep up with a proper gun or the WS 400 1.4HD Supernova. I have both. Great pieces of kit!!!

Hey brother GT. The box fans with the air filters, do they work good? Meaning like you mention so that overspray doesn’t get on vehicles? Like what about in your garage will your cars get overspray right outside the garage?
He attaches furnace filters to them to catch the overspray. I do the same in my home garage. Works good for me. The neighbors haven't yelled at me yet. 😁

That is why you are making repetitive passes i. rhe same area. If I go over a panel like that, there would defo be runs in from any of my big guns!!!
You need to change gun,that sata spray clear like bed liner.Go to Pininfarina 1.3HD and you bee avoid complet sanding and buffing.
