  • Join me for my weekly reset where I meal prep for the upcoming week and restock my kitchen. We are primarily an ingredients based household and my focus is always on cooking from scratch whenever possible. I hope this gives you some healthy recipe ideas to make your weeks easier.
    Parmesan Black Pepper Crackers:

I followed this recipe but used milk in place of cream, and brown rice flour instead of all purpose flour. I also added plenty of fresh ground black pepper.
    Chia Pudding:
    1/2 cup milk
    2 tbsp chia seeds

Hi Abbey. Nice to see you. I have been steaming my eggs for years! I purchased a double stacker steamer electric and noticed that they had indents on the trays..so you can stand your eggs up and still have room for spuds or veggies etc. Great for egg potato salad. Prepping meals ahead is so handy when you both have a busy schedule. Your recipes are great. Cheers

I really enjoy restock videos because I often am inspired to try something new. I’ve been trying to add some new options for my husband to have for work. One thing we rarely have are smoothies 🤷‍♀️. However, with the amazing weather we’ve been having, perhaps you have been too, I have wondered about doing smoothies. This may seem like a silly question but when freezing the smoothie, is it okay to use a single one piece lid rather than the lid and band? I have some of the Ball single screw on lids (not used for canning) but wasn’t sure if there is a reason for using the band and lid option for expansion purposes etc. Thank you for sharing, I hope you have an awesome week!

Just went to kroger to get vanilla almond milk and some frozen fruit (mango and peaches). Already ha e blueberries and strawberries in the freezer. Frappuccinos at Starbucks are expensive. I will consider them a special treat now.

You say 12 minutes for steaming. How do you know when to start the timer for the 12 minutes?

Once the water comes to a boil, add the eggs and a lid to the pot and then set a timer for 12 mins :)

It makes me sad to hear you’re cooking a pork roast from a pig you raised last year. Lol while I just finished eating bacon for breakfast. 🤣🤣🤣
