I have had my 22 Bronco Sport Badlands for just over a year and love it! If its not the vehicle for you, don't buy one, but its been damn near perfect for me. And yes, it does great off road. I spent a week with it in Moab this year exploring the moderate trails there. The Only thing keeping it off the difficult trails in lack of ground clearance, not traction. The AWD system with the ability to lock front to back and rear diff really do work. I hardly spun a wheel the whole time I was there.
TFL slip test agrees and liked it better than the Jeep it compared it to. Perfect size, rear glass flip up, good AWD, decent on gas, what else can you ask for. Is it as bad on the Highway as CarandDriver says?
@@dg7438 no problems on the highway. Is it as good to drive on the highway as say an Escape it's based on , no, it's not meant to be. I feel like this should have been the escape, and the escape just went away. The new escape is terrible when compared to its competitors. This is an actual “escape” style vehicle like the previous gens. And it’s separate from the curb and rav4 because of its more “off road” feel. The 2.0 should be standard and the 2.3 should be the badlands. Imagine this with The focus RS setup instead of the ST…? Would be legit badass car. Like a baby bronco raptor
