I became friends with my neighbor when I was in HS because he always had a new car in his driveway. Turned out he was corporate at Subaru and he always had a new special car every few months along with his highly modified STI. I asked him for a ride in it once and he said that it ran on race gas and it's too expensive right now. I went back home and grabbed $100 and went back to give it to him. He had me keep it and took me for a ride of my life! That car was insanely fast and did 4WD donuts super fast too. It's now a core memory for me. I don't remember your name but if this sounds familiar. Thank you!
I purchased a new Bronco Raptor one month ago. I’ve never had a vehicle that makes me so happy to drive day in day out. I’ve put 3000 miles on it and keep smiling. Getting it ready for a Bronco National event!
Honest review here: I bought a 2024 Bronco Raptor in January. I “liked” it performance wise and loved it looks wise. But then in September I got the Ford Performance tune done. Added 100ft lbs of torque. Now I LOVE the performance There’s almost never a day that I don’t floor it. And now the performance truly makes me smile! The performance upgrade makes it feel like how it should’ve came from the factory for such a pricey ride. Also the upgrade takes it to the next level because I can’t tell you how many times people want to test you when you drive a beast like this. Had a V8 BMW sedan test me a few weeks ago and even tho the Bronco is twice the size the other driver learned a lesson ha! Thanks for the great review and look forward to your next update!!!
that’s really good to know considering the fact i’m picking one up soon after i trade in my big bend this year. will definitely be doing that. seems mandatory 😂 congrats bro that’s beautiful
@ I def think it’s a good idea to drive it as is for about a month before getting it done. Doing that will 100% let you know that the small amount of money spent on the Ford Performance tune was well spent! It really did make it the beast it should’ve been out of the gate…
@@stevedoumas7701 absolutely gotta let it stretch out first before getting the enhancement done. thank u bro drive safe and enjoy the dominance of ur behemoth 👏
I live in Las Vegas and Florida. I have a F150 Raptor and a Braptor. My Bronco is very capable on and off road. I can’t stand the Apple play, the non cooling seats, milage, and the ability to clearly see out the back window. It is very responsive, durable and fun to drive and that’s why I bought it. The sound never was a factor knowing I was buying a “convertible “
Great review! You did mention that you can’t “lean” the back seats back. Unless Ford made a change from 2023 to 2024, you can lean the back seats back. The small lever is near the headrest. It allows you to fold the seat down/forward and a couple notches back for a just a bit better back angle.
Ford horns are getting louder and sensitive but with that sensitivity, it also allows you to courtesy honk which is a feature that used to be on high end cars only. In SEA markets we have the ford everest (SUV version of the ranger) and I pretty much shocked myself awake when I was driving and decided to use the horn while climbing a blind curve and I made the mistake of pressing down on the horn like on my previous gen everest. turns out i could just do a light karate chop and the car would do a light beep instead of that loud horn that resonates inside the vehicle
The Raptor is designed to go fast in the desert. It excels at other things it will do rock crawling, and normal offloading. The Rubicon is actually designed for rock crawling so it’s got all the under body bash plates and yeah it’s made mainly for rock crawling so they’re not exactly comparable in what they’re designed to do, but they are comparable price wise.
So 2 quick questions, does the Bronco Raptor require 91 or 87 AKI? I saw the 87+ on the door of the gas filler, so would this be one of the “for best power and efficiency use 91+” cases?
Broncos and Jeeps are convertibles so if someone is concerned about wind noise, don't bother being interested in either one. They are bricks going through the wind so yes, fuel economy will suffer. We are picking our new Braptor up on Tuesday. It'll be my Wife's daily driver and our fun when we go to Colorado
To be fair, simply being a convertible isn't justification for a high degree of wind noise (there are many convertibles with better insulation). Same for blocky SUVs. Both the Wrangler and Bronco are very loud on the highway, but it might not occur to everyone just how loud they will be, which is why I mention it. Enjoy your rig!
I wish the Jimny was street legal in the US. We need a small, affordable 4x4 you can really take, build into your own rig and thrash in the harshest terrain without a care in the world. This thing is a beast no doubt but how many people will off road in these after spending this much on them?
@@MilesPerHr Just put the F150 Powerboost powertrain into both the Braptor and the Raptor. It would give both a big bump in city MPG without effecting performance negatively.
How tall are you? I'm hoping to get one of these and we have two back facing car seats soon. It seemed like a tight fit at 6'2". Once one car seat goes front facing it probably won't be an issue. Probably getting a '23 in code orange for around $65-70k, which sounds absurd to say. But cars are so expensive now.
@alan_is_insane2343 it's a little too small, but still doable, with a backwards facing car seat. I wish there were a few extra inches of leg room. Luckily the baby won't be backwards facing too much longer.
If you live in the dessert or mountains this is the vehicle to have. If not then hard pass. For off-road it’s awesome but if I had to drive more than an hour away no thank you.
Ford put that back door on backwards. Mercedes did it best by having the door open to traffic and not away from it, so that when you load from the sidewalk, you don't need to walk around the door to do so.
This man found the car password in real life, just like he writes car cheats in GTA, different cars in front of the house every day. 😂😂😂

good morning miles! all they need to do now is throw the predator 5.2 in it!
Thanks for the video. Does it fit in your garage?
Dream job for sure
I still don't understand why these are so small inside when they made the car wider.

Great review as always! Random question. Where do people park if they come visit?
Why not jn front of them to block them in
We have off-street parking
Hehe thanks! In Chicago we have alleys and wide residential streets. Keep up the good work!
I know a little apples and oranges, but what's your opinion on the day to day (and off-road) compared to the Ranger Raptor?
How's the cruise control ? Does it do stop and go and in traffic ?

Which jacket are you wearing on the way to grab coffee?
Can you please review the RAM rebel 2500
