    Honestly I’m so glad to got a Badlands in 23’. I upgraded my steering system and tie rods, it is a beast limited only by my skills as a driver. Once I put on the new Bilsteins 8112 it will be next level!

    My friend just bought his new ‘24 4 door hard top Wildtrack and got $13K off MSRP. He absolutely loves driving it offroad.

    I like this video, you guys get straight to the facts and specs of the two trims. I own a bronco badlands and I love it! (living in the city of Boston). The reason I choose the badlands over the wildtrak is because of the interior comfort with the vinyl seats and the reason I was told the seats are manual and not powered is because of the drains located on the floor of the car, since you can rinse the car out with a hose the seats can not be powered or else they would get ruined.

    Thank you for the review guys. I'll be stickin' with my '22 Outer Banks mall crawler. We drive it around the Snoqualmie Valley, and sometimes into Seattle. I figure she'll get me home if the weather turns nasty. No rock crawling or dune blasting required. I highly recommend the Fast Intentions axle-back exhaust. You'll never again walk away and leave the engine running (DAMHIK).

    I own a Badlands with Sasquatch Hoss 2.0. The main reason I purchased it over the Wildtrak is the Sta-bar release for rock crawling in Western Virginia. I may eventually upgrade some things but for now I'm good with my Badlands.

    I have owned 3 Broncos and enjoy the Wildtrak the most due to the 2023 update of having fox shocks. The Badlands non sasquatch is by far the best value and is excellent.

      But the 2025 Badlands has the same Fox shocks.

    The lack of power seats in the Badlands is not due to the mid package. My Badlands has the Lux package but I opted for the marine grade vinyl and therefore got manual seats. If I had gone for the leather I would have gotten power seats. You can't get power seats with the marine grade vinyl.

    Nice video. I have a Badlands and it has everything I need. I have the standard 33in tires but the HOSS 2.0 suspension makes it easy to add 35s for the sas effect.

    Not a peep about severe duty rack and tie rod ends on Wildtrack vs stock on Badlands. That's my only reason for preferring Wildtrack. What good is sway bar disconnect with twig rods.

      We have a whole section talking about the Raptor steering rack in the wildtrak..? However to our misunderstanding. For 2024 the badlands actually has the same one.

    Totally happy with my 2 door 2021 2.7 Bronco Outer Banks advanced 4x4 with the lux package. It now has the HOSS 3.0 steering rack, all the GOAT modes, and disconnecting the sway bar is only 2 bolts. Plenty happy with the Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 suspension that only set me back $900. I am saving thousands by not replacing it, because to buy a 2.7 2 door Bronco in 2025 is not possible unless you spend $75k!

    Badlands is the obvious higher trim level. It blows my mind that a lot of people out there don't see it. The only thing the Wildtrak offers is the shocks, and that's not on all years. Shocks are a wear item and will be changed at some point anyway. The Badlands over offers more over the Wildtrak than I care to list. The 24 Badlands also has the 3.0 rack from the Raptor.

      “But Wildtrak has Fox shocks!”😂

    • @kevinkirklen
      @kevinkirklen 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It’s more than the shocks. Its stronger inner and outer tie rods, the severe steering rack, and a rear sway bar. It’s a big difference in feel of the vehicle.

    • @blown3312
      @blown3312 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@kevinkirklenRack and tie rods on the Badlands and Wildtrak are the same in 2024. It's literally the last line in my original comment. Both have 3.0 rack and tie rods from the Raptor. Actually all Sasquatch for 2024 do as well. And actually Badlands and Wildtrak have the same rack and tie rods in 2021 and the first half of 2022 has well. Both have the 2.0. Wildtrak does have a better rack and tie rods than Badlands from mid 2022 and through 2023. So 1.5 years of production. But most Badlands and Wildtraks have equal tie rods and rack. I've never seen anything about the sway bar. There's a video on TH-cam of someone swapping a Badlands sway bar into a Wildtrak. The one from the Wildtrak does not appear to be larger. Lots of other people are making the Swap and no one makes any mention of a better sway bar coming out of the Wildtrak. The difference is only Fox shocks, and again that's 2022.5 and up only. The first 1.5 years of production, the Wildtrak is 100% downgrade to the Badlands across the board. Currently Wildtrak just has a better wear item and gives up 10 other great features to get it. Also look at First Edition. It's a loaded up Badlands. Ford used the top trim line at the time for the First Edition only makes sense.

      The fact that Wildtrak is being discontinued for 2025 make clear the Badlands is superior.

  • @bronco-badlands
    @bronco-badlands 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    Best deal is to go with the Badlands 2.7L V6 with the non-SAS, plus a LUX package. Oh and for me, a 2-Door Bronco 😉… besides that, I don’t need the Sports mode on a Wildtrack as the Baja mode on the Badlands acts the same as a sport mode. Having 35” tires just brings more complications on the long run. 33” are better and comes with KO2 tires, much superior tires.

    • @mpeugeot
      @mpeugeot หลายเดือนก่อน

      Baja mode is nothing like sport mode, it's far more aggressive and cannot be used in 4A like sport mode. However, adding sport mode to the Badlands is trivial. I have all the GOAT modes except for ECO in my Outer Banks Bronco.

      Only thing that would make it taller is 25k miles of tire wear on the wildtrak. I do not think the hoss 3.0 sits lower. But that could be a slight difference.

  • @LMBC6Brian

    I went Badlands SAS loaded. Has everything you need offroad, but I love the MGV interior which carries over to the floors. Perfect for kids to spill stuff on or get mud all over the place, and you can rinse it out easily. Wildtrack has the leather seats and carpet. For offroading or keeping it nice from spills and oops, thats a non starter. And I used forscan to add sport mode to my BD SAS, so Im not missing that. And I also powder coated the beauty rings on the wheels for that all gloss black look and it looks SICK. Thats my only issue with the badlands is the silver rings on the wheels which I fixed for cheap and a bit of my time. I would love to have the HOSS 3.0 shocks/suspension from the WT, but for 2025 the Badlands will have it. Badlands is for people who will play hard, and the WT is for the pavement princesses.

    Can we stop calling the SWAY bar disconnect a "stay" bar disconnect? It sounds illiterate. And was this video originally intended to glorify the Badlands, and horribly downplay the Wildtrack, or was that just a "happy" accident?

    • @PerformanceOnWheels
      @PerformanceOnWheels  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Definitely wasn’t to downplay the Wildtrak! We own it! The badlands is from the dealer. Ford has to call it the stay bar disconnect as Jeep patented the sway bar disconnect. So technically it cannot be called that.

    • @KapitanPoop
      @KapitanPoop 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Funny you mention that. It is specifically a STAYbar Disconnect , because Bronco has front independent suspension, with the stabilizer bar connecting them, whereas jeeps have solid front axles with sway bars…

    Having owned many of new and used cars from Lexus all the way down and back up the line different brands makes and models one thing I can tell you the comfort features usually are completely unnecessary. I’ve never gotten into my truck at 30° temperature and said I need to hurry up and turn these heated seats on you. Just turn the heat on. I’ve never looked into my side mirror and said thank goodness that Blindspot warning was there I wouldn’t have seen that car and I’ve never been in a parking lot and said damn I wish I had 360 View so I can back out of this space.
