I get it and I actually totally agree. But this video is to show how to mold a scoop and a hood functional or not. Plus what’s the point in putting a functional scoop in a CX five? Lol. I’ll be doing something with my 67 Chevelle soon. Thanks for the comments.
Hey. Everything is 👌🏽. The back of the hood scoop cut was cool . Looks like you could just clean up the cut and leave it all open In The rear for the air flow 👍
Your work is very nice but I have to agree with Stumann6661. I have worked on muscle cars since the 60s and can't see the sence in poser scoops. I think it makes a joke of the owner. As always there was lots to learn and I enjoy my subscription. As a Canadian I work in metric making it easyer to be more accurit. One inch is 24 millimeters so there is no fractions to play with. Thanks for the training.

Paint codes can be behind head lights too ..if you can't find it.....call the car dealership ask for parts department and ask them for the paint codes ...you have to give them the last 8 digits of the vin numbers and they will tell you the paint codes......at some point stores they will ask you for the last eight digits of the vin to ,,too see if there any paint variation on that color..... because these manufacturers are to lazy to properly clean the paint lines when they change the colors and you will end up getting different shades of that paint codes .....GM is the worst offender of this.....option for a 45 year vet in autobody and painting and customization.
I guess I'm "Old School", but if a car has a hood scoop, it should be functional.

Yeah I could have but I think it would’ve looked weird. Watch the end result though it came out very nice.
@@HowToPaintYourCar looking forward to it.
Hello. What brand and part number scoop is that?

show us how did you create the scoop
It looks like an aftermarket 2001 to 2004 Mustang GT hood scoop, but it is in plastic.
