  • Updating a section of the boat plumbing occupies HOURS of our time! We share a very typical occurrence - boat jobs that you think will be quick, take up hours, if not days. But we are still getting things done and making progress - without losing our minds and keeping our sense of humour. I learn what SINGLE USE plastics' opposite is AND we take time to spend time with friends. Which is what life is all about : ) ENJOY!
We took so long for an update :) thanks for your patience and support
We are planning to live and explore the Indian Ocean from our sailboat. We did a refit of a TOSCA 36 and left Cape Town in October 2018. A large part of sailing is learning how to be adaptable and change plans - our biggest being our failed engine as we were making our way from Knysna to Port Elizabeth. Follow along as we figure out how to live with less.

Yeah for landies! We do love our landy and it's had a life of adventures with us. So much so, we are going to keep it and store inland when we leave Cape Town (at least for now). Thanks for reaching out and yes, see you next time.
