Tried a similar plan applying it to the snatch & felt like the best training session I've ever had. Your such a great technician, and I really how you apply a technical focus in training: you simplify when many coaches overcomplicate.
You're techique is fantastic. Thankyou for sharing you're coaching and knowledge of lifting. I find trainin the snatch. Makes the clean (of any kind) more naturally comfortable. Thankyou.
Great video Gabriel, informative as always! Since you have arguably one of the best power cleans out there filmed at 180 kg would be cool if you would do a video of power cleans . I like when you breakdown your thought process for the lifts "be powerful, move with intention" .
Hey i have a bit of a question.Im relatively new to weightlifting.During the clean and snatch i try in the 1st phase to only use my legs, keep my back angle the same whereas during the 2nd phase i dont use legs and i only use my back to get speed on the bar.Are theese cues how it should be done or do i have to keep pushing with my legs all the way through and if so how because it feels like i get bar contact too early.Thank you in advance
Did you ever try changing your technique so you could clean and jerking with full hand grip, or did you realize that fingertip grip was your best option due to mobility and body proportions limitations?

I remember in a past video you talked about not liking clean high pulls. So what would be the best alternative for clean high pulls for you?
in the clean you don’t need to pull high as in the snatch, better learning properly power clean and muscle clean
Really love the training sessions. Would be cool to see you do some in person coaching and fixing their mistakes.
thank you. for know i'm doing in person coaching only at my training camps and seminars!

Thanks for sharing Gabriel. Loving the content, especially the comments in the "foundation on training" section. Excellent editing - hilarious 😂.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for this video! Great content and editing!
Gabriel, I appreciate how you explain things from both an athlete’s and a coaching perspective!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Did you ever try changing your technique so you could clean and jerking with full hand grip, or did you realize that fingertip grip was your best option due to mobility and body proportions limitations?
At higher weights, I can keep better the barbell in my full hand. at lower weights, im using more fingers
I wish I could move as fast as you with the clean and jerk
Edit: whoever edited your video is hilarious. I love it
