      Steve Franklin honestly, Clarence is a mystery to me. You can’t fucking not be amazed at how strong the guy is with such perfect form while all the time getting the “I’m just doing this for fun” vibe. I mean, Larry Wheels has nothing on him. Even with steroids, he’s impressive. And to answer your question, I really think he is on par with those oly lifter pros. From 13:33 you can see that he outlifted the Romanian guy pro.

    • @dfpguitar
      @dfpguitar 5 ปีที่แล้ว +52

      Her competition lifts are a lot more impressive. Anyone can do a squat, most people whove been going to the gym for years still cant do a snatch with an empty bar let alone 110 on it. A 2xbw snatch is the nuttiest thing, but all world class lifters at her weight have to attain that to even be competitive!

      Lmfao!! So true it’s like his body was meant for Olympic weightlifting regardless of its shape haha but really the sport comes down to technique. Of course you need strenght but learning how to execute the right muscle groups goes a long way! I remember Gabriel saying one time that if you can front squat /deadlift 150kg for 5-8 clean reps you have the POTENTIAL to clean and jerk it. Some weird thing he found out over his years of training.

    Clarence you definitely have the pure strength of an Olympic medalist. You seem a little tight on your snatch certainly compared to Gabriel. Movement seems less free particularly in the bottom position. Do you feel the bar slightly toward the front of your center of gravity?

    what are the exercises that will help me lift more weight.
    i snatch like 30kg Max.
    and like 40-50 kg clean but jerk is still tough.
    i really wanna pursue powerlifting. if you read this. please give some exxercises to improve this particularly .

      Mate what are you talking about lol. Choose what you want to do. Weightlifting or powerlifting. They are different sports. If you want to do squat bench and deadlift work on those with a program or 5x5 program or Smolov program or an Olympic weightlifting program

      @@fullsend5437 i have been doing bodybuilding for about 2 years roughly.
      Now going for power lifting.
      Clerence says you can do both with perfectly designed program. And yeah it works.
      My energy levels are very good
