I'm not sure if there was a reason to eliminate the lower tiers of the list, considering that putting the Nagant and Nagant Officer in the same tier doesn't really make sense. The Officier is fundamentally a flat upgrade to the base variant, so they have no reason to be in the same tier. Also the only thing you may want to keep in mind with the pistols, is fire rate/cycle time does not account for the first round shot. It mainly matters in terms of Time to Kill, but with things like the Bornheim vs the Officer, the Bornheim has nearly the same TTK as the Officer. At a 0.5s cycle time, and only needing two chest shots, the Officer kills in 0.5s. The first shot is technically occuring at "0 seconds" and the second at 0.5s. With the Bornheim, you also need one chest shot, but since each additional shot fires every 0.2s, it's TTK is 0.4s. Definitely still a faster TTK, but it uses 50% of the magazine. The Officer though, uses 2/7th of the magazine, meaning you have another 2.5 additional kills you can still get with the remainder of the mag. I only bring up stats like this as it's easy to forget them when comparing raw values. There's a reason why gun like Officer tend to see just as high if not higher usage in 5-6 star lobbies, even though on paper they seem worse. Overall though it's a good video, I disagree on some of the placements, but that's kind of the point of Tier Lists. They're just a subjective thing. Good luck in the future though!
I appreciate you commenting and getting your point across without being an ass like others on YT! maybe i was a bit too harsh on the officer, but as for higher usage i genuinely haven't seen many people use it in 5-6 star lobbies over here in Aus, again i really do appreciate the comment bro have a good one 💪
@@tyrionas yeah i didn't think either of them was very special, never see anyone use the officer other than for the precision variants yet for some reason everyone is saying its the best lol i mean atleast the nagant can be silenced which i would argue makes it better just on that alone
@@tyrionas The base Nagant has one of the higher spreads of the fanning pistols, even though it has a high fire rate. If you wanted a fast firing Fanning pistol that has a tight spread, the Caldwell Conversion has one of the tightest in the game, while having the same firerate as the base Nagant. It's a nice little starter pistol, but I can't really see it being on the same level as Officer or even Conversion at any point.
@@MylesJacobSwie sure you are right, the nagant is less precise in Fanning than the coversion but you get one more bullet which can make the whole difference. gotta love that underbarrel shotty fam! 💪 LeMat is WAYYYYYYYY to underrated in my opinion, and i dont have a problem with the fanning spread i think its pretty good, not as tight as the nagant or Pax but still very good!
Very confused that you placed the base nagant on the same level as the new army, conversion, or officer. the nagants fanning fire rate is the exact same as the caldwell conversion's fanning but it has a worse hip fire spread. if you had decided to utilize a D tier or lower, the nagant would definitely belong there.
each to there own my g, to be fair though i probably should have utilised a "D Tier" for some of the pistols but i would say that the nagant and officer are equally just as good/bad as each other in comparison to other pistols. appreciate you taking the time to comment though bro 💪
for me new army is S tier, it is a savior from close to mid range and i find it way superior than the officer. It does it all without having to have fanning.
I know you said "leaving out variants" like 8 times in the video, but it does seem like a weird choice to leave out the sparks pistol, since it technically is a pistol, while not having any additional sparks pistol variants succeeding it.
Tbh i know "technically" its a variant but i genuinely forgot the sparks pistol! my mate who watched the video said it to me the other night i had no idea i missed it, my bad bro! 🤣🤣
Hey mate, making my way through your vids. Love your temperament, really digging your style! I will comment tho and say I am very bummed you aren’t showcasing the guns you’re talking about as you’re talking about them. Just feels like a few more minutes of editing once you’ve got your voiceover figured out, especially since you can just record gameplay of these guns in a single shooting range (for the most part). It adds so much quality to the video rather than commentary overdubbed on random gameplay footage. Just my two cents as a fan who thinks you could do more to grow the channel! Cheers
i really appreciate you taking the time to comment with some constructive feedback! i will take that onboard for the next video i make like this and make sure the gun im talking about is in the background footage not random clips :)
The two issues I have with this list are 1. This list is being framed as "the best guns" not your personal favorites. In this case you're gonna have to accept the criticism that comes along with that. 2. Some of these guns are used almost exclusively because of their variants as opposed to the base gun. The problem is all of these are equally viable. Guns in hunt aside from mosin/lebel/uppercut are extremely subjective. I think the officer is one of the best pistols purely based on its ironsights and how little clutter it takes up in the FOV. Bornheim for example in this case is absolute hotdog water. Every time a list like this comes out it really boils down to just one thing. Crytek has done an AMAZING job of balancing all of the guns to the point that anyone can use anything and have great success with it. Outside of again mosin/lebel/uppercut, the rest of the guns are on an even playing field and it's just a matter of what you like better.
tbh i feel like most pistol in hunt are very much on the same lvl its just who uses said pistol that makes it good but i dont get why everyone hates on the bornheim... its a freakin beast lol. but i agree with you in the sense that it all boils down to personal preference ayy! i appreciate the comment man thanks for getting your point across without being a spud like most of the hunt players in the comments 👍
well this is higly subjective as you mentioned. I think the iron sights of the Nagant / officer are horrendous, I can't play with them. I much prefer the Scotfield or the caldwell. But I fully agree with you that most weapons in the game are very well balanced, especially when you factor in their price. it does make sense in the end, weapons of that Era were fairly comparable to each other in performance and which one you prefered was down to personal preference (excluding reliability and life expectancy of the weapons of course, they can't really model that). it wouldn't make any sense to just artificially make some weapon worse than others just for the game.
Damage Value and Damage Per Second are two different things. To calculate the "DPS" you need to multiply the damage by the rounds per second. And while the bornheim may fire fast, its range and damage are terrible, it has a clunky need for bulletgrubber and lousy iron sights. I have seen a few people successfully hipfire it though.
i will agree range is terrible but the iron site and damage is pretty solid in my opinion, never had an issue 2 tapping hunters from close to medium range (obviously long range isnt possible without a headshot but that goes for all pistols without high velocity rounds or long ammo) hell even the silenced variant is a beast
I mostly disagree with your tierlist, but hey, we each have our point of view I guess. From my experience, Officer is a really solid weapon, lemat can't do shit, base nagant is just a worst conversion and pax is... well one of my favorite pistol so yeah i'm ok with that one. That's what I love from this game. We all have weapons that suit us, more or less, and it's always a different weapon depending on the day, the mood, or your overall preferences. Sometimes I nail it with the uppercut, sometimes the conversion is the only answer to my bad days. Keep it up ! and cheers from France !

@KilroyPlays I do think the Trueshot is more versatile, so if I had to choose, I'd pick the Trueshot for that tiny bit more range and damage. 👍
