I live in Australia. There are losers in Australia complaining that hogan heroes demeans all Prisoners of Wars and should have been made let alone shown on the idiot box. I swear people complain just so they can be 'victims' and 'brave'.
Louise Gold, she is still alive, born in London in 1956. This lady, my friends, was a puppeteer for Jim Henson's Muppets. She also did Sesame Street and Spitting Image. And many other venues. She had so far an amazing career. Her theatre career is also impressive.
Bigstern did a good job in her brief appearance. I guess Helga needed some time off in real life and they rushed a replacement that added her own character to it instead of just being a temporary. Good decisions.
This actress portrays exactly how I imagine a female nazi soldier to be like. She's so dominantly masculine ( as well as attractive in a feminine way) that Leut. Gruber regrets she's not a man!! That's quite a compliment! I also think she acts the part extremely well & was very funny.
@@josemengelez6947 Well not if it's the Wehrmacht, The Nazi Party is seperate from the Wehrmacht, while many members of the Wehrmacht did support the party that doesn't mean they all did. If she was in an SS or Gestapo uniform then that would be a different situation. I do agree though that kissing a Gestapo member probably hints towards that.

A woman can be way more attractive and seductive with clothes on , as opposed to being so skimpy . Being clothed let’s the female personality come through which is actually more powerful than raw lust .

I absolutely loath this TV series . It not only belittles the heroic efforts of the French Resistance but it also portrays the Nazis as comedy characters . On top of that , the humour is woefully infantile .
To be fair, she knew she was coming into a role where people would want the original but she gave it a fair go, well done to her!
She was never intended as a substitute for Helga as can be seen by her totally different personality.
Helga was never really replaced, like Flick was. Probably Hartman had another brief engagement or was ill.
