I think the reason why bros attacks are locked behind nabbit is because they expect you to backtrack for collectibles now you have new abilities (trio drill especially), you when you run through an toad village you're like "hey, that dude has dots over his head, I'll check it out" the only problem is there's no incentive to backtrack, you're only doing it if it crossed your mind also, dropchopper isn't hard to find, nabbit is literally right in the ground where you leave mount brrr for the first time
Ok Dropchopper is weird because if you do what I did and go right instead of straight or left (which is what I did) then you won’t find him he won’t appear, and I think that it’s annoying that you don’t know when to backtrack with your new abilities, it’s just random if you find a Toad with a Bros Attack
Oh no, this thing again. You cannot miss the Bomb Derby! You need to blow up the rock Nabit is standing on to create a bridge and move on. You won't progress in the story without the Bomb Derby.
I was not expecting the story to be on the worst list. I knew it was bad, but I was expecting Paper Toad Missions to take that spot. But then you said it included Paper Toad missions and it made sense.

A really good way to tell is if you see a flaw in something and you don’t have a reason why your fine with it, that’s how you know it’s from nostalgia and yes it will be revealed
I still think superstar saga has the best bros attacks since it’s not based off an “item” but their raw talents as characters and the skills they used in the overworld Their use the bros jump to get to higher places is also used as a bros attack, same with the bros spin jump to traverse wide gaps, their hammer utility, their elements and finally the not really used in the overworld but just secret bros attacks and what’s the best part about them is they have advanced versions of them, splitting from just 8 bros attacks to doubling their execution or extending their capabilities 2 of the bros attacks use the advanced techniques to expand their prowess making it go from 8 bros attacks to 14 bros attacks could argue 13 since fire bros attack advanced is just straight up better

I know I’m 3 years late but whatever here’s my top 3 best/worst things about Paper Jam (my opinion of course) 3 Worst: 100% Completion - As a completionist trying to 100% Complete Paper Jam (2 years ago) was not a easy task, it took very long to do and trying to get S-Ranks for the bosses,papercrafts and attackathon was certainly stressful and challenging, also trying to get the end screen results (those stats after the credits) REALLY put way more stress, trying to get those percentages over 80 was a nightmare… 2 Worst: Papercrafts Battles - I don’t dislike the papercrafts battles, there kinda just… meh, each time I do these papercrafts battles, all I’m thinking is (“can I go back playing some Paper Jam?”), it’s just kinda a let-down from the giant battles from BIS/DT, I wish the papercrafts battles weren’t so slow… 1 Worst: Giant Pokeys Boss Fight - This is the only thing I dislike about the game, the other two were like “meh” but this fight… I wish it wasn’t in the game, 1) it’s the most unoriginal boss in this game (heck I think the pokey enemies half way through this game is better than this boss), 2) It’s the easiest boss in this game, they die too quickly and I think my fight with petey piranha took longer than this, 3) they only have one attack (each), if they do have other attacks than I dunno I’ll remove this part but if they do have one attack than that’s just sad man, both of their attacks are just rolling and that’s just pretty boring (rhymes?), overall *me don’t like this fight >:T* 3 Best: Music - Like all other Mario & Luigi games, music just SLAPS, sure Paper Jam has the most generic soundtrack of all the games but it’s still good! some of these music lives in my head for months, M&L music just NEVER disappoints… 2 Best: The Overworld - Paper Jam may not have the most original world design/music/story or even enemies but despite all of that, I Really enjoy the overworld in Paper Jam, it may not have the strange and memorable areas like Partners in Time/Bowser’s Inside Story or the colourful and happiness like Superstar Saga/Dream Team but again despite all of that, just for some reason… running around in Paper Jam brings me happiness, idk why but maybe it’s just the Super Mario fanboy in me being happy playing his games :) 1 Best: The Battles - In my opinion, Paper jam is THE most funnest Mario & Luigi game out there (for me of course), the battles in this game are so much fun, the enemies are fun dodging, the bosses are fun fighting (except for one), the normal battle and boss battle themes are fun and great, honestly the battles alone makes up for the lack of original story and enemies, bros and trios attacks are cool and fun to pull off, even at the end of the game I would still use red shell/fire flower because I like ALL attacks in this game, and the battle cards… battle cards man, I love to use the battle cards, I like the badges in BIS/DT but the battle cards bring so much creativity when it comes to battle, some can restore your hp/bp, boost your stats, lower enemies levels, damage enemies, blocks all damage, gives you more exp/coins, and bring your stars points up faster, there’s just sooo much freedom when it comes to these battles, also the difficulty is good, enemies and bosses are well balanced, most people play the Mario RPGs for the story but for me, I play them for the fun combat >:] Overall I gave Paper Jam a 7.5/10, it’s a underrated game, if you can look pass it’s flaws then your gonna have a fun time…
