Thanks for an excellent video. I was going to have somebody else install my new awning fabric but I can do it myself now after watching your video. Why does this brand of awning not need a spring inside whereas the other brands do?
Mine has a set screw on each end of the awning fabric at the roller tube. Does that screw need to be replaced once you get the new fabric in place?
Is this a similar process for the slide awnings? I have a 2005 DRV mobile suite with the carefree of Colorado awnings.
Similar yes, but you will want to pin the springs then replace the fabric.
