Could you see what actually broke on the spring. I removed my broken spring today and it was not attached to the end. I have to order a new spring. Thanks for the video.

It is not attached. It has a 2-piece almost like propellor thing at the end that will catch the grove inside the awning tube. The spring has a catch that hook to the propellor thing. If that piece broke off, the spring will no longer hold tension.

@@timmysrvlife mine broke at the trigger end. I do not see how it attaches to the trigger end. It looks like it’s missing something. I guess when I get the new one , I will see the difference.

@@charlescorley5002 That end is attached to the trigger at the factory, I don't think you can just replace the spring. Either way, they come as a whole unit when you buy them.

How can you tell which spring broker? My awning doesn't roll back up, I have to roll it up by hand.

You can't. Just need to take them out to inspect.

Great job. Your Windsor videos are keep getting better. Quick question, what is the reason for your solar panels extending on the curb side. Do you guys have shade on the drivers side or you have so many solar panels they don't fit the roof 🙂

Thanks Ali. I have 3800w of solar😁, 1200w of them are on 3 slides. 2 are on curb side, 1 on road side. At one point, I will do a walkthrough of all the systems.

We just purchased a 2003 Windsor today. One of the awnings needs a new spring. Thanks for the great video. Btw , beautiful green coach.

@@charlescorley5002 Thanks for watching, I am glad to be helpful. Please do like and subscribe. Yes, this color is rather rare, and this light color really helps to keep the paint alive in California sun.
