Bang & Olufsen had a hurdle with the two sliding aluminum doors of the BeoCenter 2. The same piece of aluminum is used to make both doors, but only after the front has been polished in an oval form that matches the display's lower edge. This makes sure that each polishing detail is reflected on both doors. Both of these sliding doors remain joined despite the challenging milling and two surface treatments. Consequently, the finished product's doors are a perfect match.

I would like to point out one thing: to remove the butterfly doors, rotate the Allen key (hex wrench) inserted into the hole located near the edge of the housing by 180 degrees, between the visible copper screws. The eccentric mechanism will then move the guiding rollers aside, and the doors can be easily lifted upwards without applying any force.

Yes, you are totally right, but the Beocenter 2 has been tried to be fix by an another owner and the screws has been unscrews many times. Therefore was it not easy this time.

Thank you for this demonstration and explanation of how to disassemble a BeoCenter 2.
I have a BeoCenter 2 which has wing issues. When you press 'LOAD' for the first time, the doors open but the CD lid does not go up; After pressing 'LOAD' a second time, the CD lid goes up but immediately closes again. So I really benefit from your demonstration video.
Could onion also make one for assembling the different parts? And especially the doors and their adjustment.

Thank you for your message. That's a very comment issue with the Beocenter 2. It's a timing issue and you need to change the small belt in right side on the motor (11:26 in the video) and then the problem will be solved.
