The 4 inch bass driver seems to be the exact same one as the older Beoplay P6, just with a slight change to the aluminium cone, I wonder how this one sounds like compared to the portable Beoplay P6 👍 Thanks for making this video
The Beosound Emerge is promoted as being upgradeable, i.e. the Mozart module which could be replaced in the future, but that still looks quite complicated. Not as easy as with the Level, and certainly not something a customer could do. Interesting video though, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I also heard that the Mozart module will/can be replaced or upgradeable in the further. But what I have experience in this process with the Beosound Emerge changing the module will be very hard for a normale customer. I think when Bang & Olufsen release a new module for the Mozart platfrom, the customer needs to take product to service in they local store. And also, who gonna pay for the module and the service change?
The Mozart module is replaceable. On the Level a few screws Expecting pop sockets like on other grills but this is very different. Dealers might have the information should Mozart hardware change. Not obvious for users.
Yes, i have seeing the Mozart chip can be easily be change on the Beosound Level. But on the Beosound Emerge is an another step and normal customer have not chance to do it by them self. Yes, i also believe the Bang & Olufsen Official dealers has more information on that.
Thank you for your comment. From what I have learn from this process is that to put all the part together again will not be not be hard. Bang & Olufsen has made it very simple to assembly the Beosound emerge in the production line.
It was nice to see what this product is made of and the quality that went into it, but this guy went way too far taking it apart. He destroyed the speaker taking it apart. Why not just show it without its covers and leave it at that? I am surprised he didnt melt the whole thing down and show us what its original state was. How is this going to get people to buy one? Just show people the quality of the product and that will do the trick. This was horrible to watch.
Thank you for your message. This videos was an example of a disassembly process and to show the build quality. The parts can be reused and also be sold.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, i did not notice that. Looks like the same bass driver from the Beoplay P6
Thanks for the video. Always was curious what it looked like inside. I own one myself and love it! Thanks again
Your welcome. It's nice to see how the Beosound Emerge has been build and also take a look inside a product.

Take it apart, ok. But when time to put this back together an amateur would result in garbage sound or malfunction, no?
