hey david sorry for asking this in a 2015 video :D
i got the same engine , but the 125CC version , should it be the same as the 250cc? got 1000kmh on my new engine now maybe its time to check? so .004 exhaust & .003 intake

supermoto.chris should be the same you will hear a tick when they open that is ok.

I thought these always came with the over head cam engines. All Ive seen is the 166FMM engines in them.

clearance is for proper valve closure.

Atiba Whittaker that may help, or you might be running lean. If you haven adjusted them that is where i would start they were to tight feom the factory on mine.

Stock carbs run lean to pass CA emissions. I recommend swapping for 30mm mikuni carbs
