I want to thank you for answering my questions and also for providing a step by step guide to help me get my kids atv up and running again. It turns out that a piece of metal from somewhere got lodged in the valves not allowing them to close. By watching your videos I was confident enough to make the repairs myself. Thanks again!

Have engine out of frame and in house. Top cover off and cam out. Fair amount of dark oil up top. Did compression test following your tutorial on here. 75. Pumped air in with a car compressor but didn't get air leaking from anywhere. May not have been powerful enough.

G'day mate, this is the most informative clip. I have a 110cc Chinese ATV that has had some starting issues for about a year now. I've tried finding some answers to it but nothing has helped. I went hunting and found this video. I then spent around $180 Australian to purchase all the tools you spoke about and I found the issue was compression and the kids can finally ride their buggy again. Thank you very much from our family to yours.

Great info man, been watching a few videos taking this engine apart trying to get myself familiar with the parts and the process before I start it myself. I really like to understand the 'why' behind what is being done and you've given excellent answers every step of the way.
Also, thanks for editing the timelapsed parts. In some of the videos I've watched the past couple days, someone will be like "OK so now we are just gonna undo these bolts here..." *5min later* "OK and now we can remove these bolts under here..."

Found that little "funnel seal" laying on bench. I thought I found where it went, but this video verified it for me, along with a lot of other great info. Thanks for the help.

Now to tackle some Chinese 125s I have laying around. The motor has a chain tensioner. There is a 14mm bolt on the bottom of the engine next to your drain plug. If you remove that bolt there is a spring and plunder behind it. Once removed you can easily get the sprocket and chain on.

2 for 2.... just subbed on a prior video i watched. Long story short i used to turn wrenches on small engines growing up and but never did a full teardown. anyway got my boys some used 4 wheelers. they both run just a bit rough so i wanna tear them down and see what i can do to tune them up. or rather wasnt sure about doing it until i found these videos now im looking forward to actually trying a full teardown on one. Anyway keep up the awesome content and thanks for the help

As someone who's applied Honda's torque specs to the clone and snapped a couple bolts, I'd say look up the motor model number and see if you can find it's torque specs, because extracting a snapped bolt is a huge pain. Given I looked for hours for torque specs before using the Honda specs, it's still at least worth a little research.

I have a 110 quad that runs, idles great but when it goes to rev it Boggs or goes super super super slow. I put brand new carb and tried tuning, had all my buddies try to and it wouldn’t fix it. I put new cdi, new spark plug, new coil and more. Figured out it’s low on compression. I have the engine off and apart. I did the flashlight trick that you taught and absolutely no light is coming through. The head and the cylinder and piston all look great. However, the head ghasket is ripped (not from me). I believe that is the issue and I will keep you updated. I have a new piston cylinder and all new parts on the way

@@mistiparker6272 This is my #1 question for sure! I actually had a CNC company laser cut out all the metal to start making and selling my own. I will be selling the kits on my website either as a DIY kit or a completely assembled and power coated. Should have everything ready soon and will post updates on the channel.
