Thanks for the video. I´ll get the Scrambler 400X in carnival red from the dealer "Q-Bike" in Hamburg in the next days. Greetigns from Hamburg, the most english city outside from Great Britain!
Matches my thoughts from a test ride two days ago. Despite the crappy road, I manages just over an indicated 70mph very easily and never noticed any undue vibration. Overall, an excellent bike and looking forward to receiving mine in April.
hi all, thanks for all those that have watched this first episode, your comments are incredibly valued . i get to read them in chunks rather than everyday but i do read them all. once my apologies for the sound in this first attempt but i think ive redeemed myself slightly in episode two with more engine sound and a more detailed view point on that 400 single. what was really encouraging about this bike, is its simplicity, it looks like a nice straightforward home serviceable bike, a must in its biggest market, being India. i know there will be alot of comparisons to the new himalyan, but i think those two are not really like for like, the Enfield is more adventure ready and focused on that sector, this bike is more style and street focused but with plenty of off road ability thrown in. having said that i think with some decent soft luggage strapped to the back it would make a fabulous small adventure companion, and that's not to say its a very capable bike. watch out for my next episode dropping in a couple of days where i review my scram 411 and look at the similarities and differences between these two scramblers. To all those eagerly awaiting delivery of their new triumph, im sure your love it, i certainly had a great time and was sad to hand it back. safe riding and see you in the next episode.
Just watched pt2. Great narrative & enjoyed hearing the engine. Sorry to hear you had mic issues with this one hence the music. Way too tall for me, but nice looking and sounding bike. Are you going to do one on the new speed 400? Might be able to touch the floor on that.
Appreciate the video review... quality of your video production is excellent. Now for some constructive criticism... if you're going to put music over the video, please make it the same volume as the narration!!! Nothing irks me more than having to crank the volume to hear what you're saying, only to get blasted by whatever copywrite free garbage music people put on their videos. Should have just let us hear the bike.
hi actually i thought the seat was pretty good comfort wise, it may be different if you did an all day ride. i think id hold off buying any upgrade until you,ve had plenty of time in the saddle
It’s more of case of what your inseam is. I’m 5’ 8” but only have a 27” inseam so most bikes are too tall for me to flat foot. A couple of years ago, I settled for an MT 03 (Yamaha) and it’s perfect. I can easily reach the ground and it’s also very light.
Good video, otherwise spoilt by the lack of voiceover and music being too loud- please take this as positive criticism! A lot of people like to listen to reviews while doing something, say washing the dishes, so having to read a video is a tad frustrating. Please consider adding a voiceover. Nontheless, subscribed and I look forward to seeing more!
Stuck it for 7 minutes but that music 👎 I’d rather have wind/engine noise. I also struggle with the lack of mechanical sympathy for a new engine “pulls uphill in 6th gear” 🤷♂️🤦♂️

Sorry I couldn't watch it after two minutes with that music, I just want to listen to the engine, the music spoilt the review 👎
Watch pt2. Think it’s mentioned that there were mic problems hence the music…which I now have as an ear worm 😆
Perhaps a voice over to at least describe the ride?
@@kengossar2294 on pt2 👍
@@kengossar2294 in pt 2 😊
looks like a great little bike
F me I’d sooner here a engine that that music.
That’s in pt2. Just watched it. Mic problems apparently on this one.
Thanks mate .. I was dithering over my order of a black one .. this confirms my choice!

Hi Paul, great looking bike, good luck with your new venture. Claire Smith
Love the look of the bike, just beautiful in my eyes.
Anxious for mine to arrive in Alabama

Im picking up my 400 x in the same colour this weekend. Havent ridden the bike yet....like Arranged Marriage
cant hear a word mate check your sound ...does the bike vibrate on the highway?
Just watched pt2. Great narrative & enjoyed hearing the engine. Sorry to hear you had mic issues with this one hence the music.

Might be able to touch the floor on that.
Get mine March 1st first job is a tail tidy
Ok, the music spoiled the whole video..... masked the exhaust note and was totally unnecessary. Gave up half way through and went out to feed the pig
Totally agree about the music, why put music on a bike review video, pointless, I to turned it off
There were mic issues apparently. Pt2 has all the noise & no music. Just listened to it.
Spoilt by music we watch for the bikes not music
You’ve spoilt what could have been one of the first uk reviews,is there any where you did over 40 mph
I actually loved the music, what was it and who by? Thanks for your input 👏👍
Dance with me - Asher Lee & Eternal Promise - Brock Hewitt according to the description. I like it too 🙂

Narration’s in pt2. Mic issues in this one apparently, hence the music.
How is the seat comfort? Do you need the upgraded seat?
hi actually i thought the seat was pretty good comfort wise, it may be different if you did an all day ride. i think id hold off buying any upgrade until you,ve had plenty of time in the saddle
What’s with the music? We want to hear the bike! Could watch any more after a couple of minutes.
Mic problems apparently. Mentioned in pt2 where you do get to hear it.
5 foot 7 and it's unclear if I could reach floor? Can't hear very well due to music
You be on tip toes on the scrambler go for the 400 street I think it’s 2 inches lower same engine
The narrative is in pt2. Mic issues in this one hence music.
I think there’s an alternative seat available…might be worth checking. I do get it, as at 5’1 most bikes are too tall straight out of the box 🙄

Sorry .....a 'mute' review with music so loud that you can barely hear the engine. (I stopped watching at 9.57/23.11 ).

Well thanks. That’s 23 minutes of my life I’m never getting back 😅
