The dumbest thing in the movie for me was the opening where they had paratroopers drop into the zombie infested city. They literally dropped soldiers to their death.

Stupidest part had to of been that these trained mercenaries practically who know how to use guns can't shoot worth shit but the daughter character took out every damn zombie with a perfect headshot in the hallway scene.

Only after being on the plane do the symptoms even start.... What kind of nuclear bomb did they use where it's safe to walk around the place it hit just maybe a couple hours later?????

The stupidest thing is that after the security saws off the queens head he doesn’t just leave. He went down to the vault only to betray the team. Then went outside the casino where he already was before to die to a tiger. He only needed the head he didn’t even need to get on the helicopter. He could have just walked out the way he came in right after getting the head

The two highly trained military dudes at the beginning had a Humvee, but just ran off into the dark desert, and were like, time to get eaten. I was like, WTF?
It made no sense, he literally ran up to the dude in the humvee and said "we have to go" and instead of GETTING IN AND DRIVING (closing the door would even buy them time) they just run off the side of the road to certain death, the movie is so lol worthy, I like dumb movies like this because the visuals are awesome and you also have fun watching with a friend and roasting how dumb some points are.
I think this movie takes place in the Idiocracy universe because I swear President Camacho was in charge. Let's just air drop troops into a massive horde of zombies!
The only part that pissed me off is when Bautista, the daughter, and the lady who didn’t matter finally reach the chopper. And they sit there and reminisce for a minute as if a nuke and a zombie king aren’t coming for them.
It annoyed me on a second level, because that whole scene was a rip-off from the end of Aliens executed poorly, when Ripley is out on the pad screaming "God damn you Bishop!" with the Queen (instead of the King) coming, before he makes a dramatic entrance. It was like a shitty cover band version.
What about the fact that a nuke is complete overkill and unnecessary? Nukes are used to destroy countries and states, not one big city. It's illogical and braindead screenwriting.
@@dereksbooks ...you really need to read up what tactical nukes are. You know, the thing explicitly said in the newscast that was being used. The bomb that destroyed Hiroshima was 21.5 kilotons, those bombs were city killers and not country destroyers. The big boys came later but parallel to them smaller bombs were created like the American W25 which was meant as an air-to-air missile and equaled to 1.5 kilotons. Nukes come in many sizes and uses, just because the Tsar bomba exists doesn't mean they are all capable of incinerating a sizable percentage of Europe.

I just remembered that when the first walked into Vegas there was all the dehydrated zombies laying around and the Coyote chick mentioned something about how when it rains they become active again. I thought they were foreshadowing a cool scene in the end where escape seems close, then it rains and they have a whole other problem to deal with. What a missed opportunity.
Not to mention it’s kinda a plot hole since in the Vault they were trying to lure a zombie in to activate the traps by throwing a microwaved zombie hand b/c they’re attracted to warm flesh, so wouldn’t the zombies baking in the hot Nevada sun just start eating each other?
Yeah it's like, come on, does Zack actually think ANYONE would be impressed by that??? And when the heli finally took off, instead of going up, it flew to the left??? I expect that would only be used if there was something blocking the helicopter from going straight up, but i went back to check and there was NOTHING around.........

It is almost as if Zack Synder set out to write a film with the absolute most plot holes you can fit into a film. Like he was going for a world record.
The camp was evacuated before the nuke dropped. So they would be someplace safe presumably. Now they're orphans and going to be in foster care. Is Dave's daughter going to adopt them? What was the point of the camp anyway? The city had been walled of for awhile and none of the people at the camp were infected. So why weren't they relocated already. Putting the camp right next to the wall is stupid. I also don't understand the point of the coyote or why the hell anymore especially regular civilians would want to go back inside. At first I thought that the coyote was smuggling them out of the camp to a nearby town where they could get on with their life because the government hadn't relocated them yet after they were evacuated out of Vegas. Ugh this whole movie is so stupid

Actually Geeta is never shown to be dead - she gets on the chopper and is nowhere to be seen during the fight inside, or after the crash. She completely vanishes.
I wonder if this has something to do with the time-travel theories flying around, ie. those bodies in the vault DID have exact same clothing. Utterly ridiculous though either way and terrible writing!
@@neildeeley4177 ok, I rewatched the whole scene, and I think you're right - she hops in, takes the seat next to the pilot, then she gets like 2-3 close-ups during the struggle, and I think that is her lying dead in the passenger seat @ 2:10:41, but I had to blast the brightness up and really squint to spot her, since the shot is focused on Bautista and his daughter at this point, it's blurry, and she kinda disappears into the bent and broken fuselage. I was personally trying to figure out what impaled the pilot the first time watching this particular shot, too. I think I can make out Geeta's hair, arm and a leg, so I guess it's canon - she dies during the crash.
Comedy was just right for me. Any more and it would have been too much and not funny at all. But I’m not American so maybe people slipping on bananas are funny to others.
Geeta was the reason Kate was acting so stupid, and the best thing is that director forgot Geeta was in a chopper And didnt even bother showed as of shes dead or she lives!! And Kate diddnt even care at the end.😂

I legit thought when the boss Zombie jumped into the Helicopter that his head was going to get cutoff by the blades. That would have been pretty funny.

I really liked the part where Ripley had to explore the nest for the girl, fight the Queen while Bishop waited patiently. Got to the roof to find Bishop had left, but hovering near by. Then the Queen caught a ride before the colony exploded. Dualing to the death...... Shit wrong film.

also, send them after some money that doesn't matter, so that the burger flipper guy has to find some people without combat experience that can be a liability. Let's say that something goes wrong and Dieter is immediately mauled by a zombie tiger, does the team turn around and goes out of the quarantine zone even if Dieter and his skills didn't fucking matter? Now, that's just basic bitch writing here, but usually in this type of stories they'd discover the "real reason" for the mission in the most predictable twist ever, that the vault isn't filled with money but it's instead a front for an enterance to some super secret military lab or something, yadda yadda yadda, take it from there if you're still awake. This still would be leagues better than "the true objective is to catch one of the zombies that you can easily lure out when you just walk in". Which, as Joe noted, is really stupid, because since the Vegas area is under total control and supervision from the government, they probably captured multiple alpha zombies already, even ignoring the fact that the zombie king was probably extensively researched before, because, like, they had him.

The whole zombie apocalypse premise requires you to believe that US army can succumb to probably least threatening and unorganized fighting force ever. I didn't mind this paradropper scene, because it was still during the opening montage, so I was just treating it like a pretty picture. I was expecting more out of zombies in this movie, because the movie's called "Army of the Dead". So I thought, maybe it will be more threatening this time than a swarm of shambling slow corpses or the "parkour crowd" ones. You know, something like an actual army. But I got the usual, however with a twist that US army isn't overrun, but instead only Las Vegas is lost and it looks like the situation is super under control. Which in retrospect makes the whole opening montage look a lot dumber than it already was.
@@filipstysiak I was thinking it was going to be finding out that the zombies were about to attack outside of Vegas. To be honest, the zombies were absolutely the heroes of this film. From the main villain's perspective these people showed up, killed his wife, murdered his unborn son and at the end he was doing the hero "leap onto the bad guy's helicopter" thing. Honestly he was a more compelling protagonist than the protagonists. It's rare to say "the zombie king had the moral high ground," but he did. They didn't even seem to have plans to invade humanity and from their POV, they were taking the humans and making them one of them - not even eating them. Whole thing is annoying because honestly I kind of want a story about how some ancient guy became the zombie king more than what we got.

Chekhov's Gun: The great playwright and short story author Anton Chekhov wrote that if a narrator draws our attention to a gun laying idle on a shelf (even for a second) that that gun must later be used in a climactic, culminating scene. Meaning: whatever the narrator draws our attention to it must later be used in a momentous scene or else it is bad writing. I too was so disappointed when the saw was never used outside recounting scenes. Terrible, terrible writing.
And thats the issue. Snyder is great at visuals and how to make something look epic. The dude could not write a story without getting cause in the look of the movie. He should not be a director of anything but photography.

Heck yeah. Kingdom is a tightly made movie that not only has zombies, but political drama if a person is into that sort of thing. I was engrossed from beginning to end.
The dumbest part for me was when they're finally boarding the helicopter and they stop to stare at each other for few seconds.. And the alpha zombie catches up to them.
I am not a Zombie killing expert... but if I would ever be in a situation where I have to get near Zombies and had enough time to prepare then I would definitely cover my arms and maybe even my entire body with bite proof clothes.🤦♂️

The best, most-original concept in the entire film was the "powdered zombies" dried up all over the street. JUST ADD WATER. I really wanted it to start to rain during their escape.
They are still dried up and the water would just make them begin to move a little becoming mounds of grabbing hands and biting mouths. They wouldn't just get up good as new
Just typed out the same comment basically before I saw this. When she mentioned the rain I even turned to my wife in the theater and said that they were foreshadowing a scene where it rains later. Was such a let down that it never happened.

I think you could chalk it up to the excitement of the situation. That reason would actually make sense as her mindset is purely on instinct and survival mode. With it being dark, she may not have realized she was tricked. The better question is: why did the guy start tricking the soldiers paid to protect him? It’s clearly shown in the beginning that he didn’t know anything about the zombies, so how did he think he would get out of the city without protection? Why did everyone just stand around when the bad ass lady broke through the window? I enjoy dumb movies, but this was too much dumbness.
They should have just been told about the heads. They could of gone in, roped up those dumb ass alpha zombies that were slowly walking towards the manbait, and gotten 40 or someing time the worth of the money. They were right near the wall so the leader couldn't have done shit.

They weren’t robots. That blue light had something to do with there infection. It was just never explained well. It did look like a couple robot heads for popped though
@@Dustyphoto915 no they were robots. Zack Snyder already explained it, and there was a scene when a robot zombie had its face blown off and you could see the robotic components. There's gonna be an animated prequel that explains these elements, plus the mysterious blue glow to the zombies (either government or aliens, as hinted by Snyder).
This whole zombie thing in this movie is actually an extraterrestrial experiment. In the very first scene of the movie if you pay attention you’ll see two alien spacecrafts fly away from Area 51. Still a horrible movie

They had a cool idea with smart zombies but then they become stupid anyway and they barely show up until the end and the end was good action but it’s over in 2 seconds. The only thing I can give this movie is it looks good and it was more a comedy than an action movie.
The lady with the red bandanna reminded me of Vasquez from Aliens. Then that guy blocked the door so she couldn’t get out like Paul Riser did in Aliens.

Hell, the whole point of going indoors was to avoid zombies, but the reason why the zombies are indoors is because they hibernate during the day, meaning that the fucking streets are empty, it's actually safer to walk on the streets!

also no military is within safe distance from the blast to make sure nothing survives, the guy who could easily be using stolen money and is bloodied and beaten is just allowed to purchase a private jet.

Sure access was provided but it was the rogue definition of a mini-cold war going on where if the humans stepped out of line than the alphas would jump them. So it was best for the humans to avoid them altogether since the coyote wasn't able to discern information from a party incapable of advanced communication.
Army of the Dead was a huge missed opportunity IMO. Cliches all over the place and characters that made the dumbest choices on film. The movies focused on the less cool aspects of the heist and zombies. So Why not just show us the zombie wars, and or the fall of Vegas?

So wanted the helicopter to fly out to a place where military wouldnt catch him? ....but like the military wouldnt see the helicopter leaving and scramble there own helicopters/planes to intercept lol. But we are trying to think to hard for such a poor thought out movie.

The only reason why he'd want the helicopter is if he figured there'd be no vehicles outside Vegas to drive out of the blast range of the nuke. Again ridiculous, why take such a risk on that helicopter, lol just leave a motorbike under a tarp or something to escape with.
Thing I thought was completely stupid was the helicopter, it carries 12 plus 2 crew, now there was at least 10 of them, you saw the stack of money which filled half the safe, yet know one questions how they are all fitting on plus the money. Of course it makes sense if only the guy with the head, actually needed to escape, but no one questions it. Plus there was no way they were carrying all that money in a couple of bags.
The movie “Triple Frontier” actually factored the weight of the money for the helicopter. The helicopter was a fucking cargo bob, in no way a Huey helicopter is going to carry $200,000,000 and the crew.
Lily's death hurt the most. She could have lived. Idk why she didn't back onto the plane while still holding the head and keeping the alpha back. Instead she just stays. So stupid
But you don't see her die in the movie. I'm never going to watch this 2 and 1/2 hour plot hole again, but you don't see her die. And there's nothing saying Zeus didn't bite her and turn her. But who cares! Well, she was the best character in this, but the movie was just bad.
Yeah, there is an interview where zack snyder kind of hints of the government implementing robots in there to see their behaviour or something like that.
Yeah right, sometimes when they got shot there would be like shattered metal fragments, sparks and weird blue light emanating from their eyes what was that about. Hell even Zeus, their leader had that. Is this like a future Las Vegas/World with cyberpunk gear. If so I wouldn't mind seeing that in a zombie flick. Just please make it clear and go more all out with the concept by giving the humans some of that sweet techno equipment.
I just hope Kate at some point later realizes she got her dad and the whole team killed because she refused to listen to them and the guilt makes her an hero. Pointless movie.
Don't forget the part where they're about to run through the casino, and Bautista is like "don't stop for anything" and then immediately stops to fight zombies.
The part when they are leaving the first casino and that woman puts the gun to the zombies head but instead of backing towards the helicopter she decides to just back up to a random corner of the roof...
Alternate plan: just hire the security guy to go in alone, use his net launcher on the zombie, shoot the other zombies then run away with a head and get on a bus since he’s right next to the way he got in.

The big problem was the film has a very serious tone. So when the storyline is a complete, nonsensical mess it just results in a piss poor movie. I hated everything about this movie, I couldn't stop calling out how nothing made any sense.
a lot of the stuff will be explained in the future , Zack is building a universe and there is a lot of interesting stuff going on in the movie , Zack purposely put these weird things in the movie so we talk about it . The guys like Angry Joe are just dumb to understand that . Most of their complaints and plot holes are just them being stupid or impatient . What about the fact that the convoy crashes, the alpha zombie breaks out and starts killing everybody, and the two remaining soldiers decide to run on FOOT, instead of driving off in their STILL RUNNING VEHICLE ...because.... REASONS !
Not to mention five soliders (apparently highly trained), NONE OF THEM, could netuarlize a target (that they ar e supposedly trained to know a threat when they see one) by shooting him in the head. I'm talking about the five guys in front of the crate at the start.

He didn't sell a single "dramatic" scene. I find him a 1 note actor and I'm not a fan. This movie was hot shit regardless though. No one can carry this dumpster fire.
It's because he's had too much plastic surgery, his eyes were so squinty I was also laughing that his face always looked the same, all puffy and really slant eyed when he was supposedly crying and also when he was angry or pumped. He needs to take it easy on the cosmetic enhancements and procedures.

Another stupid thing: the 2 soldiers at the beginning should of just got back in the vehicle and drove away but they decided to run in the desert at the middle of the night.
I feel like the vehicle would have attracted it, but still they literally moved to one hill, think it's safe, look away from where they came from when they hear noises, and that one dumbass trips and shoots his gun, and they laugh about it.

@Ian that convoluted bullshit is nonsensical. In the very opening scene they already established an extraterrestrial connection. You see two UFOs fly away from Area 51 at great speed in the form of glowing orbs.
The simple fact that the convoy didn't have immediate actions for if the container was opened was really dumb. As someone who was a reactor operator in the Navy, any operation you're doing has every single thing that can go wrong covered where you know exactly what to do.

The entire time Dave's character was arguing with his daughter at the beginning I kept wanting him to ask her "If you die then who's gonna look after the damn kids??" Since the mother is already most likely dead(yes, I know she's not but the characters don't know that), she's the only one with any connection to the kids who can take care of them. The second they agreed to let her come though, I knew she was going to wander off at the end and get a bunch of people killed looking for her. Also, is it just me or did the whole scene with the zombie alpha on the horse holding a spear while his hordes charged seem like a Game of Thrones knockoff? I just had massive white-walker flashbacks at that part. I half expected him to pull out a spear and throw it at the helicopter to bring it down. Then there was the weird speech about the "time loop" or whatever that never ended up being anything. There was also the random ass cyborg zombies that nobody seemed to acknowledge at all. Like "Huh, I just shot that zombie's head and metal pieces, sparks, and blue lights came out. Nope, seems normal to me." Oh and what about how when the main alpha broke out of containment he had super-speed and was untouchable, even dodging bullets, then for the rest of the movie he was normal speed? Lastly, where'd the mother lady go? She just vanished after the roof top scene never to be shown again. I guess the director just forgot about this super important side character that was kind of an entire plot point. Maybe I'm nitpicking too much, but even when movies are bad I usually don't get frustrated or can laugh about them. But this one actually made me somewhat angry.

Easter everybody noticed: when they where speculating that the dead guys are in fact them but form an alternate reality, one of the corpses has a necklace with an old key and the girl who supposedly likes Bautista also has a necklace with an old key.

And one corpse had a bandana around his neck like Bautista's character did. And there was a corpse with the same shirt and necklaces as the pilot. And there was the blueprint of the vault they found. They thought it was from another team, but it could have belonged to their parallel selves.
Yeah sorry, the Military would have had a drone on stand by with a heavy ass missile. The moment he reported "Cargo is breached" they would have fired the missile. The girl on the line would have basically been giving the order for anyone to get out of the blast radius. These guys would have known that and been booking it the moment she gave the word.

Those soldiers in the intro literally turned in seconds... but nah Van took freaking hours to turn, it takes 5 hours to drive from Las Vegas to Utah according to Google. That and Kate being the sole survivor/her stupid side-quest to rescue the mother no one cared about were the 3 things that really ruined the movie for me.
Also the safecracker guy could have pull that vault door in, there were metal bars he could have gripped instead he went outside to push it and got snagged by the zombie. So idiotic
Zach literally forgot Geeta was in the film. From my understand the pilot was played by someone else and then replaced later. Geeta deaths scene was with the pilot that got cut and they forgot to reshoot that scene. So she just disappears.

Tanaka not knowing the combination to his vault is not so far fetched. This vault is where the casino would have kept the cash they need to pay out for any winners at their tables. Tanaka, being the owner, wouldn't need to have to know about how to access the vault as this would be considered a day-to-day part of running the casino. He would have hired people (who likely became zombies during the outbreak) to manage those details for him. While MUCH of this movie doesn't make sense (even within its own fiction), Tanaka not knowing the code for a vault in a casino he happens to own is not something I stumbled over. Because here's the thing - if the CEO of the place you worked walked in, would you expect them to have the access codes for everything in the building memorized? Or would you expect them to have several assistants (or the *store/office* manager) who would take care of those mundane details?
This flick taught me that I can walk into any airstrip and rent a privately owned plane with clearly suspect money while looking like I just robbed someone of said money and then infect Mexico City with a zombie virus. Cause easy peasy japanesy.

The dumbest thing in the movie for me was the opening where they had paratroopers drop into the zombie infested city. They literally dropped soldiers to their death.

The only part that pissed me off is when Bautista, the daughter, and the lady who didn’t matter finally reach the chopper. And they sit there and reminisce for a minute as if a nuke and a zombie king aren’t coming for them.
That was my biggest problem with the movie.
It annoyed me on a second level, because that whole scene was a rip-off from the end of Aliens executed poorly, when Ripley is out on the pad screaming "God damn you Bishop!" with the Queen (instead of the King) coming, before he makes a dramatic entrance. It was like a shitty cover band version.
What about the fact that a nuke is complete overkill and unnecessary? Nukes are used to destroy countries and states, not one big city. It's illogical and braindead screenwriting.

The bomb that destroyed Hiroshima was 21.5 kilotons, those bombs were city killers and not country destroyers. The big boys came later but parallel to them smaller bombs were created like the American W25 which was meant as an air-to-air missile and equaled to 1.5 kilotons. Nukes come in many sizes and uses, just because the Tsar bomba exists doesn't mean they are all capable of incinerating a sizable percentage of Europe.

I just remembered that when the first walked into Vegas there was all the dehydrated zombies laying around and the Coyote chick mentioned something about how when it rains they become active again. I thought they were foreshadowing a cool scene in the end where escape seems close, then it rains and they have a whole other problem to deal with. What a missed opportunity.

What was the point of the camp anyway? The city had been walled of for awhile and none of the people at the camp were infected. So why weren't they relocated already. Putting the camp right next to the wall is stupid. I also don't understand the point of the coyote or why the hell anymore especially regular civilians would want to go back inside. At first I thought that the coyote was smuggling them out of the camp to a nearby town where they could get on with their life because the government hadn't relocated them yet after they were evacuated out of Vegas.

@@neildeeley4177 ok, I rewatched the whole scene, and I think you're right - she hops in, takes the seat next to the pilot, then she gets like 2-3 close-ups during the struggle, and I think that is her lying dead in the passenger seat @ 2:10:41, but I had to blast the brightness up and really squint to spot her, since the shot is focused on Bautista and his daughter at this point, it's blurry, and she kinda disappears into the bent and broken fuselage. I was personally trying to figure out what impaled the pilot the first time watching this particular shot, too. I think I can make out Geeta's hair, arm and a leg, so I guess it's canon - she dies during the crash.
I don't understand why they didn't just make this more of an outrageous over the top comedy. They could have even done that in editing.

Now, that's just basic bitch writing here, but usually in this type of stories they'd discover the "real reason" for the mission in the most predictable twist ever, that the vault isn't filled with money but it's instead a front for an enterance to some super secret military lab or something, yadda yadda yadda, take it from there if you're still awake. This still would be leagues better than "the true objective is to catch one of the zombies that you can easily lure out when you just walk in".
Which, as Joe noted, is really stupid, because since the Vegas area is under total control and supervision from the government, they probably captured multiple alpha zombies already, even ignoring the fact that the zombie king was probably extensively researched before, because, like, they had him.

I didn't mind this paradropper scene, because it was still during the opening montage, so I was just treating it like a pretty picture.
I was expecting more out of zombies in this movie, because the movie's called "Army of the Dead". So I thought, maybe it will be more threatening this time than a swarm of shambling slow corpses or the "parkour crowd" ones. You know, something like an actual army. But I got the usual, however with a twist that US army isn't overrun, but instead only Las Vegas is lost and it looks like the situation is super under control. Which in retrospect makes the whole opening montage look a lot dumber than it already was.

To be honest, the zombies were absolutely the heroes of this film. From the main villain's perspective these people showed up, killed his wife, murdered his unborn son and at the end he was doing the hero "leap onto the bad guy's helicopter" thing.
Honestly he was a more compelling protagonist than the protagonists. It's rare to say "the zombie king had the moral high ground," but he did. They didn't even seem to have plans to invade humanity and from their POV, they were taking the humans and making them one of them - not even eating them.
Whole thing is annoying because honestly I kind of want a story about how some ancient guy became the zombie king more than what we got.
Literally the only one I wanted to die, survived. Add insult to injury: everyone else died stupidly

Chekhov's Gun: The great playwright and short story author Anton Chekhov wrote that if a narrator draws our attention to a gun laying idle on a shelf (even for a second) that that gun must later be used in a climactic, culminating scene. Meaning: whatever the narrator draws our attention to it must later be used in a momentous scene or else it is bad writing. I too was so disappointed when the saw was never used outside recounting scenes. Terrible, terrible writing.

I think you could chalk it up to the excitement of the situation. That reason would actually make sense as her mindset is purely on instinct and survival mode. With it being dark, she may not have realized she was tricked. The better question is: why did the guy start tricking the soldiers paid to protect him? It’s clearly shown in the beginning that he didn’t know anything about the zombies, so how did he think he would get out of the city without protection? Why did everyone just stand around when the bad ass lady broke through the window? I enjoy dumb movies, but this was too much dumbness.

There's gonna be an animated prequel that explains these elements, plus the mysterious blue glow to the zombies (either government or aliens, as hinted by Snyder).

Hell, the whole point of going indoors was to avoid zombies, but the reason why the zombies are indoors is because they hibernate during the day, meaning that the fucking streets are empty, it's actually safer to walk on the streets!

also no military is within safe distance from the blast to make sure nothing survives, the guy who could easily be using stolen money and is bloodied and beaten is just allowed to purchase a private jet.

Sure access was provided but it was the rogue definition of a mini-cold war going on where if the humans stepped out of line than the alphas would jump them. So it was best for the humans to avoid them altogether since the coyote wasn't able to discern information from a party incapable of advanced communication.
Army of the Dead was a huge missed opportunity IMO. Cliches all over the place and characters that made the dumbest choices on film. The movies focused on the less cool aspects of the heist and zombies. So Why not just show us the zombie wars, and or the fall of Vegas?

The only reason why he'd want the helicopter is if he figured there'd be no vehicles outside Vegas to drive out of the blast range of the nuke. Again ridiculous, why take such a risk on that helicopter, lol just leave a motorbike under a tarp or something to escape with.
Thing I thought was completely stupid was the helicopter, it carries 12 plus 2 crew, now there was at least 10 of them, you saw the stack of money which filled half the safe, yet know one questions how they are all fitting on plus the money. Of course it makes sense if only the guy with the head, actually needed to escape, but no one questions it. Plus there was no way they were carrying all that money in a couple of bags.

The movie “Triple Frontier” actually factored the weight of the money for the helicopter. The helicopter was a fucking cargo bob, in no way a Huey helicopter is going to carry $200,000,000 and the crew.
Lily's death hurt the most. She could have lived. Idk why she didn't back onto the plane while still holding the head and keeping the alpha back. Instead she just stays. So stupid

The more I think about this movie, the more I dislike this movie.
The big problem was the film has a very serious tone. So when the storyline is a complete, nonsensical mess it just results in a piss poor movie. I hated everything about this movie, I couldn't stop calling out how nothing made any sense.
a lot of the stuff will be explained in the future , Zack is building a universe and there is a lot of interesting stuff going on in the movie , Zack purposely put these weird things in the movie so we talk about it . Nobody is going to talk about the moment where they hint at the entire story being some sort of never-ending, circular-loop timeline with dead bodies in the vault wearing the exact same clothes and jewelry as the team??
There was a horror movie that I saw with that same premise. It was an old WWII bunker. They were gonna destroy it to make a Hotel or resort.

The simple fact that the convoy didn't have immediate actions for if the container was opened was really dumb. As someone who was a reactor operator in the Navy, any operation you're doing has every single thing that can go wrong covered where you know exactly what to do.
You guys didn't mention the UFOs / Aliens / Robot zombies / Alternate Universe (dead bodies at the vault).
That would have been better of an ending than what we got

The entire time Dave's character was arguing with his daughter at the beginning I kept wanting him to ask her "If you die then who's gonna look after the damn kids??" Since the mother is already most likely dead(yes, I know she's not but the characters don't know that), she's the only one with any connection to the kids who can take care of them. The second they agreed to let her come though, I knew she was going to wander off at the end and get a bunch of people killed looking for her.
Also, is it just me or did the whole scene with the zombie alpha on the horse holding a spear while his hordes charged seem like a Game of Thrones knockoff? I just had massive white-walker flashbacks at that part. I half expected him to pull out a spear and throw it at the helicopter to bring it down.
Then there was the weird speech about the "time loop" or whatever that never ended up being anything. There was also the random ass cyborg zombies that nobody seemed to acknowledge at all. Like "Huh, I just shot that zombie's head and metal pieces, sparks, and blue lights came out. Nope, seems normal to me." Oh and what about how when the main alpha broke out of containment he had super-speed and was untouchable, even dodging bullets, then for the rest of the movie he was normal speed? Lastly, where'd the mother lady go? She just vanished after the roof top scene never to be shown again. I guess the director just forgot about this super important side character that was kind of an entire plot point.
Maybe I'm nitpicking too much, but even when movies are bad I usually don't get frustrated or can laugh about them. But this one actually made me somewhat angry.

Easter everybody noticed: when they where speculating that the dead guys are in fact them but form an alternate reality, one of the corpses has a necklace with an old key and the girl who supposedly likes Bautista also has a necklace with an old key.
I can't believe nobody is talking about this moment. I spent the entire rest of the movie waiting for some huge twist that this was all a simulation or something. but no.
is it still a easter egg when they obviously point it out in the movie though? lol But it is obviously them and I want to know how long this has been going on. Because those bodies look to have been there a LONG time. so yea maybe its yet again another pointless side plot never explored lol.

And one corpse had a bandana around his neck like Bautista's character did. And there was a corpse with the same shirt and necklaces as the pilot. And there was the blueprint of the vault they found. They thought it was from another team, but it could have belonged to their parallel selves.
The dead body with the key had 3 holes and the girl that was alive her key had 4 holes plus the dead skeleton neck was twisted too

Yeah sorry, the Military would have had a drone on stand by with a heavy ass missile. The moment he reported "Cargo is breached" they would have fired the missile. The girl on the line would have basically been giving the order for anyone to get out of the blast radius. These guys would have known that and been booking it the moment she gave the word.
The woman on the radio literally told him to shut up and run & leave the ones who couldn't move.

The guy locked in the safe had been bitten that whole time walked across the desert drove to civilisation got a jet and then starts feeling like shit because he had been bit like bruh shouldn’t he have turned into a zombie like hours ago.
Radiation from the bomb could’ve delayed the transformation

Those soldiers in the intro literally turned in seconds... but nah Van took freaking hours to turn, it takes 5 hours to drive from Las Vegas to Utah according to Google. That and Kate being the sole survivor/her stupid side-quest to rescue the mother no one cared about were the 3 things that really ruined the movie for me.
Also the safecracker guy could have pull that vault door in, there were metal bars he could have gripped instead he went outside to push it and got snagged by the zombie. So idiotic
Zach literally forgot Geeta was in the film. From my understand the pilot was played by someone else and then replaced later. Geeta deaths scene was with the pilot that got cut and they forgot to reshoot that scene.
So she just disappears.

I watched this with my wife and when the credits rolled we both looked at each other and almost simultaneously said, "This movie was shitty".

The movie wasn't trying to be a fun dumb movie. If it was then it would probably been a good movie. BUT The movie took it self way to seriously.

Tanaka not knowing the combination to his vault is not so far fetched.
This vault is where the casino would have kept the cash they need to pay out for any winners at their tables. Tanaka, being the owner, wouldn't need to have to know about how to access the vault as this would be considered a day-to-day part of running the casino. He would have hired people (who likely became zombies during the outbreak) to manage those details for him.
While MUCH of this movie doesn't make sense (even within its own fiction), Tanaka not knowing the code for a vault in a casino he happens to own is not something I stumbled over.
Because here's the thing - if the CEO of the place you worked walked in, would you expect them to have the access codes for everything in the building memorized? Or would you expect them to have several assistants (or the *store/office* manager) who would take care of those mundane details?
This flick taught me that I can walk into any airstrip and rent a privately owned plane with clearly suspect money while looking like I just robbed someone of said money and then infect Mexico City with a zombie virus. Cause easy peasy japanesy.
