I am a 60 year old learning to play the piano for the first time. watched loads of you tube stuff of americans saying "wow dude, you got this, your awesome" and still sounded crap.
Found a northern bloke with a brew who explains it in ways i can follow and now i dont sound as crap as before.
Thanks mate. You may not realise how much you are helping people, but take it from me, you are.

    • @pfylim

it is not only americans. it's youtube for creating this system. everyone is on the take. no one really puts anything really structured together. its edutainment. and you will waste your time learning from this attention sucking system. they deliberately try to keep you hooked. just look to your right

This was fun Josef. What I really liked the Einaudi progressions. I’d also like to see what you were doing in your right hand - you were doing more than just playing the octave. That would help us spice up the progressions a little and learn the basics for improvisation. Keep up the great work!

@@Creativepianoacademy I completely agree. When I started to learn piano it was harder to find something really entertaining and easy to follow. Now we have you, Pianote, Jazer Lee, and few other amazing teachers. I even started myself to create similar content which helps in basic improvisation. I hope there is never too much of it :D

At last, after weeks of searching and trying, your tutoring style makes "hands together" so easy to learn! I play, guitar, bass, drums, fiddle and harmonica, but piano has always been on on the back burner until now. I really like your piano video recording showing the big three elements; your keyboard w/hands, overlay keyboard color highlights, and you in the middle giving instructions. Of course I have subscribed to your channel and will checkout your classes! BRAVO!
