Welcome back Josef! I've loved your vids since I started piano - my 1 year anniversary is next week :) - and I loved this one just as much as the others, maybe even more! I'll definitely add these patterns to my practice routine, they look so useful! Thanks for the enjoyment/education. Take care! P.S. Your videos were the 1st ones I started learning from.
Learned it, came back after a few days of playing it and realised how much better you play it. Lots of practice and listening required. Many Thanks Josef!
Hey, the Public - READ THIS You owe it to yourself to focus on this teacher...period. You need to watch all the videos, one at a time. You will learn so much and you will discover you can do it, and you will QUICKLY discover creative piano playing that will be so good, so much fun you will lose a lot of interest in even wanting to learn other songs you know. This teacher keeps focusing on creativity and suddenly you will find yourself using all the skills you have learned. My goodness the results have been astonishing. This will change your life~~~~Thank you Josef for the gift of a life time with all your videos.
EXACTLY what I'm looking for, more licks to put into boogie (and they work for rock n roll in straight 8s too). Thank you Josef, you seem to know what I need next. I highly recommend you for both experienced and beginners in boogie, your videos have been SO useful, can't thank you enough for your help. Also, having played for years, playing boogie is the most satisfying material to play on piano and so adaptable for rock too. Top man!
I buy a LOT of music-themed clothing. Rainbow piano socks, a piano belt, music jammies (clothes for sleeping in--need pockets!), several T-shirts. I'd probably buy some.
This is fantastic! I took lessons for awhile but now, finally, I can play something that sounds great and I don’t have to try to sight read. And it’s fun!! Thank you SO MUCH for this treasure!!
Hey thats awesome. Yes, boogie woogie is like the 'opposite' to classical but the skills you pick up, natural feel, hand coordination, rhythm and timing and priceless.
Is there a way to print off the notes played that you see in upper corner. I can read notes and it would make things so much easier to have the printed notes that I could print out.
Great video. Do you have a video (or can you do one) one the little fast move running down, you do at 7:05? Also I really struggle with playing the 2 hands together. No-one online talks about that. I have to slow the notes down and almost learn them note by note and then speed up slowly. (maybe it's because I'm a drummer). But it takes me ages to work out which notes go with which. Any tips on this?
Hi Josef. Love this lesson. I'm straight onto practicing those patterns. Speaking of patterns, I really like the pattern on your T shirt. Can you tell me where I can get that shirt? Thanks, Paul S.
😆 There are certain types of music where "mistakes" are teeeerrible and there are certain types of music where they sort of "fit in" very well! (I've been playin' da bass for 35 years: A few "interesting" smells from the kitchen every now and then doesn't determine the skills of the chef!) I juzz luuuuv your energy! I do play a little guitar but never got anything goin' on the piano: I'll be back!

Fantastic - now to try to play it……
I love your T-shirt.
Should I open a piano themed t-shirt store?

Hello Joseph
Can you make a video about arpeggios
Great video. Where can I find how to do the left hand to do the boogie woohoo.
Hey man! Really missing your videos! Keep up with the great content
Great tut as usual. 👏 I'd really like some tips on making LoFi Jazzy progressions, please! 😁
How can i learn the left hand pattern? Or is it always the same for boogie woogie?
It’s a very basic blues piano left hand pattern. Check out his left hand morning routine video. It’s one of the exercises.
Don`t need to hear this to know the answer is an emphatic,YES
Boogie woogie is like the superhero of the piano universe.
@@Creativepianoacademy Thanos would be a quivering wreck at the feet of the mighty Piano Jo!!!

I don't like sad music. Let's make left hand pattens of ragtime, jazz and blues music :)

I think spending a month on these is a little optimistic for me but whatever it takes.
less talks please...
