Great storytelling and film making. Your passion for racing shines through in the quality you have put into this film. Keep going, you are rolling back the years.
Congrats on a great season. Do it again and we’ll all tune in for the King family adventures. Another year of the same dedication has got to bring you to another level.
Excellent content!! Best wishes Ted on a successful season. You've paid the price. "love the process". Kudos to your support- system---Laura!! You've got this.
I always truly enjoy listening/watching your videos. I've followed you for many years, and have to truly say I love watching the efforts of both you and Laura. It isn't only about riding, but making adjustments with your family, and all of the pieces that have to align in order to make this work. Here's to watching more training and racing videos in the year ahead. Happy Holidays!!
Ted you are such an intensely competitive dude with a fantastic perspective. Keep your foot on the gas and love your family.preeminently. I love hearing your thoughts and observations.
Can't thank you and Laura enough for sharing your 2024 season, the lows, the highs, and everything in between, and continuing to inspire a whole generation of cyclists.
This was fascinating and very well done. So cool to see Laura’s race as well. JYou gave us a real insight into the massive commitment required to race that level. Riding 5 hours in 17 degrees (F)? Yea you were probably the only guy riding outside north of the Mason Dixon line let alone Vermont.
Great video Ted!! Whether you are at the front of the group or middle of the elite group it's always about the process that got you their and that is the most important part of the journey!!! Well done, Ted and Laura. Look forward in see you both next gravel season!!
Great video and insight 👏. I broke my olecranon years ago whilst racing full time - same metal work. Doctor said I might never be able to straighten it again fully. Took about a year but I got there so hopefully you can too. Lots of weight assisted stretching did the trick for me. Best of luck for next year 👊🏻
Want a year… followed your every step! Well Done for finding the secret sauce to balance this gig. I look forward to a revise version TK 2.0 for the coming season.
I love this video...and the entire story line. Followed you for a long time...and would like to see more details of your project to get to the podium of the top gravel races at age 42...more on training, more on your sponsors, more on your equipment, more on the King family making this work and overcoming/coping with the stresses. Loved the him and her riding the world's in Belgium.
What's next in 2025? You have done more in this sport than most of us could dream of. I also live in New England I can't imagine riding in the winter with rapidly changing conditions. With more WT riders entering gravel racing the level of competition is next level. Wishing the King family a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. Looking forward to the next video.
Jan/Feb rides in NE when your fingers and toes cross over to the darkside surely prepare our hearts and minds for what we can endure when pushed to our limits
Living and training in cold conditions will always keep one back from one's full potential: just do a 6h ride in 0°C and then one in 12°C (like it is in Spain). The fatigue is sooo much higher while training in the cold and this hurts recovery as well as fitness build-up. Sadly, that's just how it is and family people with houses can't just pick up and move for three months, but cold-weather riding just ain't as good... But cool of you to have done it this year. .
I'm not anywhere your level but even I figured out that training is hard and JRA is a lot more fun. ...but... There's something to be said for putting the hurt on your buddies too

Your blessed to be able to ride 2-4 hours everyday in the snow and wintertime.
Great documentary in 12:00 minutes in. Thank you for creating this! What kind of gravel Cannondale bike are you riding? Take care!
Enjoy the journey ....
the once and future King

Great stuff. 2025 Year of the Birkie? ;-)
It's the process, not the product.
Ted, what is that power washer that you had in the bucket?
Opening part needs to be slowed down by at least 10 seconds for us normal paced reader’s.
Are you coming to Paris to Ancaster in 2025?
What was the portable spray hose you used to wash your bike?
Ryobi something or other. The one with 720psi I believe.
How old is Ted? 46?
I'm not anywhere your level but even I figured out that training is hard and JRA is a lot more fun.
...but...
There's something to be said for putting the hurt on your buddies too
What if the Super Bowl was 10 hours long ?
I thought it already is !
What's new is old again

This is old, I watched this weeks ago
Weeks ago? That is ancient.
