Such a beautifully shot film! It perfectly captures the serene charm of Pennsylvania's woodlands through the eyes of a cyclist. Makes me want to grab my bike and hit the gravel -really good stuff!
Another spectacular film! You guys are complete legends in the PA cycling community. When I finished watching the Pants route last year, I thought: “I think I might be able to do that…” When I finished watching this one, I thought: “There’s no chance I could do that…” This one looked really hard. But so epic!
Dirtbags, commenting both for engagement and to say the latest film is amazing. I don’t even gravel or bike pack, but PANTS is a regular rewatch for me and JORTS really upped the ante. Amazing filming, editing, history, anecdotes, reviews, and vibes. I genuinely love the balance of debauchery and authentic stoke for all things PA. Keep ripping everyone! Much love from a Rothrock local and enthusiastic advocate for PA cycling!

I rode the PANTS route this year with a couple friends after watching your first movie. Hardest but ultimately most satisfying ride I’ve ever done. This one looks even more brutal. Keep pushing the boundary, guys
Excellent film showcasing the beauty of Pennsylvania's woodlands from a bike riders perspective. Thanks for introducing me to Kalob Griffin and Van Wagner for the music. Every day was a new challenge and was shown as that. Those last two days...ugh. When Bearcat was saying he was limping to the finish, things weren't looking to good. To see all your smiles at the finish was a great ending to a very nice film! Well done! "Have a good one!"
I rode the Jorts ride. Oct 10-17 of 24. I soloed it with no schedule or timeline, averaging around 50mpd. On or around the third day is when I started to use the word dirtbag with a vulgar sense. I cursed out the creators of this route on more than one occasion. Pushing my bike up many hills and peddling up ones, I didn't think I could. I rode awesome gravel through beautiful mountain forests and farmlands. Countless river and stream crossings. This ride had me pushing my endurance and will to go on. I'm so happy I did. I also came to a navigational glitch and needed to detour from route. It's in my gps if needed. Thank you for creating a great ride with many gifts along the way. Sorry for cursing out the dirtbags. Peace everyone!
@the_dirtbags I picked up your Dirtbag lite jersey and a jorts patch as a momento to the journey. I'm about to ride the "Southern tier route" searching for some warmer weather, biketouring from FL to Cali. Probably some detours along the way! I was planning to wear your jersey. I'd be stoaked to have your consent
A few years ago me and my buddies made a beer run from Coudersport to straub brewery on our gravel bikes. When we got to the emporium trail you came upon where you guys were at. We decided to proceed not wanting to back track and ended up meeting the owners very upset brother. Who was wanting to call the cops on us!! Thankfully we talked our way through and he let us pass. You guys made a wise choice lol
I had hoped to ride PANTS in 2024 but a hernia derailed those plans. No plans to ride JORTS and those wild climbs. Question: where the heck can I get a copy of Kalob Griffin’s Fixer Upper. What a great tune!
Waited months to see the video and I am in TEARS at the end. 10000/10. Great stuff. Absolutely beautiful views and an amazing route. Hope to do it one day myself!!!
Great film! I left PA (Home town, Warren PA) about 25 years ago for Colorado. Planning to return home in about 3 years and looking forward to all the gravel PA has to offer. Spent 1000’s of miles on gravel out here in the west (GDMBR, Western Wildlands Route and everything in between). It’s time to come home and experience the PA gravel!
Great video. Watched the whole thing hell of a ride. Congratulations to everyone! How did you guys keep everything charged when bikepacking in the middle of nowhere? External chargers?
