I have been a huge Jlo fan my whole life. She’s improved immensely as a singer, especially the last few years. That being said, this was def pre recorded. And the vocals were edited a bit. But regardless, she still sounds pretty good. Her improvement is very much notable if you compare her singing back in ‘99. And I think Marc Anthony and Stevie Mackey are to be credited for helping her become confident.

My unbiased opinion as a 20 years+ JLO fan: I am usually the first on the front lines defending her. BUT, this really disappointed me. Here, she FINALLY had a chance to show the world that she can actually sing without enhancements, and she blows it! Especially in a moment where vulnerability and authenticity is necessary. STEVIE WONDER could tell it was lip synced! I don't think it was fair to the other artists who sang live and uncut. This comes across incredibly fake, and she will never get her fellow peers and critics respect as a SINGER this way. Definitely not one of my proudest moments as a fan!

Yes, you really could. It sounded like she was screaming in certain parts of the song, in fact. Her voice, on alot of her songs, sound like that though. She sings out of her vocal range, for some reason. Not sure why.

I have been a huge Jlo fan my whole life. She’s improved immensely as a singer, especially the last few years. That being said, this was def pre recorded. And the vocals were edited a bit. But regardless, she still sounds pretty good. Her improvement is very much notable if you compare her singing back in ‘99. And I think Marc Anthony and Stevie Mackey are to be credited for helping her become confident.

I like to listen to raw artists but I don't really mind some auto tune. Even great artists use auto tune to perfect the record. I just don't like to see a recorded song "being sold" as a live song.

She said that about her Vegas residency as well - how she'd be singing it all live. Yet, there's plenty to prove she didn't - right down to her setting down the mic while her playback is still going. She lies, a lot. If this were live you'd be able to hear her breath with her mouth that close to the mic at the very least. There's none.

I think J.Lo did a very good job with this performance. But as always haters gonna hate....
My unbiased opinion as a 20 years+ JLO fan: I am usually the first on the front lines defending her. BUT, this really disappointed me. Here, she FINALLY had a chance to show the world that she can actually sing without enhancements, and she blows it! Especially in a moment where vulnerability and authenticity is necessary. STEVIE WONDER could tell it was lip synced! I don't think it was fair to the other artists who sang live and uncut. This comes across incredibly fake, and she will never get her fellow peers and critics respect as a SINGER this way. Definitely not one of my proudest moments as a fan!

It definitely sounds pre-recorded and auto tuned and in the bigger parts, maybe I’m wrong, but it sounds like there are other vocals and they aren’t all hers which is kinda par for the course with her music rightly or wrongly. But I have to agree her overall vocals where you can hear it’s her sounds much better than past performances. That being said I still like JLO.
