If I remember right, the Marine Armor also has a visual bug that makes it more black than it's supposed to be. One of the mods listed in The Midnight Ride modding guide I was using had a before/after picture on the Nexus page for it and it was definitely more blue in the after.

You would need like a full caravan legion and operating munition and farms on every settlement to get that armor set
Not really, if you just pick up most loot from locations and battles and sell it you'll make decent money, without ever doing the settlements I've had upwards of 30,000 caps because i almost never buy weapons or armor and just scavenge for it and use caps for healing items and stuff

@@thomasmolyneaux3700 Honestly. I was curious and got the Settlement creation club for I think it's called the Settlement defense, from the Creation Club. By far the best one ob that stupid market.
Anyways it allows me to send signals for my bases to get attacked. Meaning selling more loot.
And it's great for survival cause you don't even need to be there anymore when a settlement is attacked. Just plop a camera and your settlers will take care of the rest.
Farms would take much much longer. Just farm a few different locations and you should be able to build up the caps in Just a few in game days. You need beer, Grape mentats, make sure your inventory is empty other than what you need to fight and load up your partner. Pro tip: if you use the search chest command on partner, they can hold infinite weight. I've had Nick holding over 1400 wt on a farm run. Just place all your stuff in a random chest and repeatedly use the grab that search command

I found the marine armor in a crate under water during a quest for Dimas science geek
There are two variants. There is the simple one that you can find in undersea crates after dima’s memories and then there are the unique legendary variants you can buy at specific vendors in the dlc. I forgot all about the legendary ones so now I have a new goal
Edit: just one thing. There is no unique pieces for the legs. There is one mission which when you complete it gives u a random piece of the marine armor called atom’s bulwark. I sadly got this as a chest plate but apparently you can get it as a left leg or right leg

I mass produced ammo and used it for buying power

The Marine armor is the most expensive item in the game as buying all three legendary pieces I believe will cost you around 50k caps as the helmet is 25-30k caps and both arms are 10-15k each but you can get a set of non legendary marine armor excluding the helmet for 1800 caps including the wetsuit from the children of atom and it resets every time you travel back and forth between Far Harbor and the Commonwealth so you can get multiple pieces and outfit your settlers with Marine armor and handmade rifles
I have full lgendary and normal set, but interesting fact, now u really can create a good looking armor

Easy way for money just make 70 of those huge water purifiers at spectacle island and just grab like 1200 of the purified water and fast travel and sell. With the perk that lets you fast travel overencumbered

By the way, the Splattercannon from Nuka World is also absurdly expensive.

@@UraniumFever76 it's far cheaper than the recon chest piece but still has a pretty absurd price tag for a rifle.
I spent about 5 hours grinding for that gun, the ability to 5 shot swan is pretty neat though.
@@CheeseConsumer Playing as a low-charisma character is especially tough, so I max my charisma right from the beginning. Saves a ton of time, effort... and caps (:
(in case you didn't get it, charisma allows you to get the same rifle for free from Mason. Though this one comes with stock mods, whilst the Splattercannon is packed with a set of really decent mods and it takes ages to get all perks to upgrade handmade rifles by yourself).
It's funny that non-legendary pieces of marine armor are soooo much cheaper than the legendary variants. I remember that I had to spend quite some time to grind the caps for all Marine recon armor pieces without siding with any Far Harbor faction to save all merchants that sell this armor. But now I've already bought like... 150 sets of zealot armor to turn into assault variants and equip my settlers with. Who would've thought that leather and steel would become the biggest issue at this stage. And I need a few truckloads of leather alone.

Using gliches ive figured out that all that guns in the gun runers arsenal (all together) cost about 125k its absurd and thats without the extra gun mod the dlc adds ass well

I remember having 1 fullset of this armor after beating Far Harbor main quest on survival mode, it looks cool, almost drained all my caps even after selling so much stuff, but worth it.

You can actually throw items in fallout. If you’re on PlayStation just hold the X button on the item to pick it up then hold square and release and you’ve thrown any item that you’ve picked up
You can also steal a Fat Man in goodneighbor by crouching behind the weapons deals

Far harbour is my favourite! I love the fog and the whole island! I always get the full set and it really helps for the rest of the game

For ammo at least with a fusion core you get a good chunk of use out of one, whereas any other ammo is one shot only. As such trying to stock up on cryo cells, cannon balls and a couple others can really set you back

You should try seeing if there’s any items which when sold to the vendors are then sold for a high price to the player, since when an item is sold to a vendor it becomes available to buy back at a higher price
I don’t think ever struggled to get caps in any fallout game, especially New Vegas, just sell guns and ammo it’s the most profitable venture, especially considering ammo is damn near weightless (in survival) or literally weightless. It’s like printing money

I actually decided I was going to get those Marine Armor pieces because they provide the BEST protection outside of power armor or those ballistic weave upgrades or whatever that you can put on army fatigues or jumpsuits. Although, you CAN use clothing items with ballistic weave UNDERNEATH this marine armor, so if you get both it's ridiculous!
If you play modded fallout skillzerk's suicide note is 50k caps can be found on the vendor modeled after him at skillzerk's house
Splatter cannon from the nuka world dlc is pretty expensive not as expensive of the armor but it's still pretty expensive
I destroyed far harbour and got the unique marine chest armor from the children of atom. Its brilliant if you use it with unyielding armor. You also get a perk that buffs weapon damage the more rads you have. Very fun
MA is ironically PA pre FO requiring training to use soft locking it at higher levels.
In this case the armor is soft locked behind obtaining all the pieces

You can throw bowling balls by the way. Just pick it up by holding A and hold X to charge your throw. Then release to throw.
I wasnt morally okay with caps glitching til my 2nd playthrough. I refuse to grind caps and hold off finishing questlines so I can complete the armor
There is some pretty pricey armour that the trader with the caravan sells for 18000 caps
I don’t know why, but I just love that armour. It’s just feels right. I kinda rock with heavy battle armour, but their helmet always kinda not fitting with while set for me, but that one is just good
The dapper gentleman hat from far harbor is also really expensive for its not super unique effects but still not as expensive as some of the pricier things on this video
Before i heard the fallout 4 part i immediately thought of new vegas and how even with my high charisma and discount perks i was still paying over 57,000 caps for the weapon from the gun runners
i found that grass hopper i just recently loaded up my old save from like 4 years ago or more and found that single item under my bed i must’ve forgot about it nvr knew it was the priciest junk too lol

I have the helmet and had to use some of the newer unique weapons to act as a buffer cause I still couldn’t afford it but I have it now and love the helm, I guess I’ve gotta grind luck and caps to get the entire set
You're also forgetting that the hefty cost of gulping some radiation for one of the Legendary Marine pieces.
