I was in india last year… I was amazed to see a security guard doing 2-3 jobs for financial stability, rickshaw drivers with iPhones, payment technology at the tapri, friends with insane salaries, people randomly talking tech in elevators … At this pace, India will absolutely outpace several other countries!!! 🇮🇳
India is developing for sure, but Indians remain the same. Also one thing that shocked me on my recent trip was, illegal encroachment of land very close to where i grew up and Beggars. This is honestly, unacceptable. It's not the fast trains, malls and such that make me happy, it is this encroachment and constant bugging by beggars that saddens me.
It is the best country to live is only for upper middle class or elite class . The education n corruption is the biggest hazard , which will take centuries to finish .
Most NRIs have property investments in India and they are happy to know India is developing. They would love to accept it, if it is the case . However, India still has a lot to improve. We can not compare it to developed countries yet.
I live in USA but I don't behave arrogantly when I go to India. Both countries have their own benefits and drawbacks. People have become more materialistic in India and family relationships are no longer the same.
Yes, what you mention is very true. It's unfortunate but it has changed a lot. Family relationship are no longer with the same values as it used to be.
I stumbled upon your video.....your analysis is good. To be frank, expectations of many NRIs are so weired...why should they be given special treatment just because of the country they live in? Many who left India 15-20 yrs back, keepa comparing present USA/Canada with old India...If things are getting better at your place, things must be getting better in India too. Some of my NRI friends ...when we meet, we ask about friends, family, kids, job etc but then i notice a clear expectation that instead of discussing their life they want to talk about how things are in their country...😂 While most of the things they tell are something which are already there in India but they have a 20 yr old image of India with them. I mean i am using dishwasher and robovac in India for so many years now despite having house help....and some of my friends in USA/Canada don't use any of these even when they have no house help. So, going to USA/Canada doesn't mean you are living a better life.

NRIs are down to earth as they have seen both sides of the world. India is fast developing, however corruption, bribe is still the same. Indian family values are not same as before anymore. Most are busy posting on social media and competing their lives to match that. I would not compare USA with India, but each has to decide on his own situation.

Another important point in india many properties have grown upto 50-100 times in last 20-30 years, coming from tier 2/3 cities now everyone is getting rich but those who went USA or other nations lost on this part drastically. You are absolutely correct. People in India have a lot of exposure and are leading a very Interesting life. It is good that they don't give too much bhav to NRIs. Because NRIs behave very cheap and think too much of themselves. I am myself a citizen of USA since many decades and yes I see that people are no longer impressed by NRIs. Best is you not show off to others that you are an NRI, just try to blend in with the locals then you will be welcome. But If you think you are superior then you will be scorned at or ignored.
Economic trends have changed from east to west.. The last 25 and the next 25 years are going to be fundamentally different between east and west. India has demographic dividend. So obviously there is huge need for workers in the west.. But growth and development opportunities are greater in India in the next 1 or 2 decades. It is wise to slowly start investing in India as opportunities come. Coming back to India is not a bad idea. Many People are getting financially free starting from scratch in India... But its safer to get some financial stability before coming back

Hemant, you don't understand Indian society! As an NRI you are the victim the moment you return. People regard you as a walking ATM. If you give someone Rs 500, they will throw it back in your face as they expected Rs.5,000! Additionally, you are never part of the society again. You returned. That dashed the hopes of the many whose only alternative is to flee. Keep up the laughs!
It is great to see you Hemant . Crux of the vlog is how the necessity shifts the minds of people today. Even I m observing the change. I should say only illiterate Netas are the role model of todays Indian society as they gain more respect than educated people.
Nah Bro!! Ppl dont give 2 shits abt Netas. Most ppl you see rallying behind those Netas are Jobless Youth. .... Mainly ppl in India admire Celebrities -Both Bollywood n Hollywood, which is Foolish too
It is good that you get many products with various price points in India now. The point you are missing is in Canada you get most products say tea coffee with avg population salary. How much percentage of population in India can drink coffee with Rs 100.

Those from premier institutes (IITs/IIMs) actually don't want to go to US/UK/Canada/Australia anymore because they can do very well here in India itself. So now when someone goes abroad it is because he/she is not capable enough to do well in India, hence they go overseas as the competition is lesser there. Going abroad is equated to lower capability. Have you also observed this phenomenon?
Sirf unko incapable samjha jata hai ji ka IITs me selection nhi hua aur wo abroad kisi college me padh rhe hai, ye baat to mene mere IIT campus me suni hai Aur ab IITs ka craze bhi khatam sa ho rha hai, pehle jyada ijjat thi IITians ki

The most important feature is the Time n Money . Today the MNC setup in India and packages by them has brought opportunities and change in mindset of this generation which was not in the past 50-60 years
Being originally from Mumbai and now living in Sydney for the last 13 years, there is no way I could buy a 3 bed house in Mumbai. Lol, it s way too expensive. Could manage to do that here in 7 years and still live a good life. The advantages of living here are : - High standard of living. - 8 hours means 8 hours at work, not when your boss decides to leave the office :) It is true that people from major cities don't really care about NRIs. I don't get why some people get so stuck up about getting royal treatment just cos they are NRIs, the struggle is the same but it depends on your attitude and mindset.
Aap itna ghume sir lekin aapko yeh nai pata laga india itna aage kyu hai. Reason is population, population is power. Hemant, I've been following your content for a while you make great content but now I see you are running out of topics to discuss, You should start a series on TH-cam where you bring different NRI people staying abroad and discuss their journey, that will give us more insights into how people can go abroad and get a job, as well as what opportunities are there in India vs abroad. you can start your own series for college students trying to move out and middle-aged people trying to come back. your channel is about to take off, you should give out this information because the Study abroad centers in India are really charging students thousands of rupees only to give a very vague knowledge on the subject. Thank you hope you consider this idea, Remember to bring in real people. (Could be over video call recording, or in-room podcast.)

@@NRIreturntoindia Your videos are very good and provides valuable information to the needy ones. I have one request. Can you please throw some light on reservation , chacha bhateejawad, donations, bribe, and other factors that prevent the general and poor people to get jobs in India. Please tell me why NRI needs to be treated as someone special. It used to happen because there was a big difference between a middle class NRI lifestyle vs middle class Indian lifestyle. That gap is closing and closing at a fast rate. In some cases Indian lifestyle has more human help compared to expensive human help. I live in the West and also returned to India for 2 years and moved back for a variety of reasons. Like you I'm not judging either place and my theory is live wherever you are happy!

I would like to know if the beggar situation has changed in India. It hits me very hard every time I go to India seeing small kids naked, begging .. I do realize that it's all mafia controlled like most countries. But at least in other countries you don't see it everywhere.. Last time I went to India was 2019. My parents live in a posh area with fancy shops. Every time we came out of a restaurant there were loads of small kids begging us for food pulling at our clothes .. I grew up in India and saw such things right from an early age but it hits me very hard. I ended up marrying a non Indian and he finds it very hard to look at all that too. I have to stop him from handing money out like candy when we visit India.
I make videos for awareness and i would welcome if more people follow me .....though i never ask in my video to subscribe me as I know people are smart enough to choose what is good for them....thanks buddy for following me
I thought I can add my 2 cents here. Hemant's point of view is North Indian IT back ground. Not all "NRIs" are from IT or from Delhi. There is a very wide range of opinions. I have lived in America for 25 years and simply cannot imagine moving back to India. I do visit India (east and south) but I don't visit India to get "respect or validation" from anyone. I visit India to meet family and friends and that's all. I don't visit India so that someone will give me "respect" that is hilarious !! Even if someone gave a million dollars I can't imagine living in such a polluted city like Delhi where people are so rude and rough and corruption and crime rates are so high.

Agree as i have seen on ground
Economic trends have changed from east to west.. The last 25 and the next 25 years are going to be fundamentally different between east and west. India has demographic dividend. So obviously there is huge need for workers in the west.. But growth and development opportunities are greater in India in the next 1 or 2 decades. It is wise to slowly start investing in India as opportunities come. Coming back to India is not a bad idea. Many People are getting financially free starting from scratch in India... But its safer to get some financial stability before coming back
Totally agree 👍👍
haha mast observations and some are funny too.....particular marriage one. 😄
Ha ha ..very well explained. Don’t think anyone will think you are coming from heaven ..which use to be the case 15 years back
laat year when i went to TN for prilimigage trip i met a Belgium man who said he is cioming to this place for 15 years.. and when I told i reside outside India he laughed at me..
True...as it's changing now
State per depends karta hai, uttar pradesh mai minister ias pcs ka izzat jayeda, punjab, gujrat mai jayeda respect hai kyuki woh karcha sabke uppar kar dete hai , aap baat sach hai loog touch mai chakkar kyuki kuch mil jaye
Ha ha ha .. dost gazab bejjati karate ho :-D
Keep up the laughs!
it does not matter where u stay its all your mind set .... somehow i feel as u moved to india and you are more telling postive about it ...
It is great to see you Hemant . Crux of the vlog is how the necessity shifts the minds of people today.
Even I m observing the change.
I should say only illiterate Netas are the role model of todays Indian society as they gain more respect than educated people.
Even that will change with the time as people are getting smart enough day by day to decide what to follow or what not
@Robert Clive the founder of India Illeterate like Jaishankar.
Nah Bro!! Ppl dont give 2 shits abt Netas. Most ppl you see rallying behind those Netas are Jobless Youth. ....
Mainly ppl in India admire Celebrities -Both Bollywood n Hollywood, which is Foolish too
Don’t forget the dhongi babas, how blindly they get all the admiration
It is good that you get many products with various price points in India now. The point you are missing is in Canada you get most products say tea coffee with avg population salary. How much percentage of population in India can drink coffee with Rs 100.
Rs 100 x 30 days is only Rs 3000 a month.
An e rickshaw drivers make Rs 60k a month. He can drink if he wants to.
@@fwefhwe4232yea and legally paying tax is the last thing on the rickshaw drivers mind.
Mera ek dost kuch deeno pele London shift. Bhai saab, shift hone ke baad first 6 months usne whatsapp pe ye tabahi machake rakhhi na..pucho mat. Ab hum log kya kare, khane ka photo bhej raha hai..like maar diya. People leaving will still be more than people coming back.

Have you also observed this phenomenon?
it is correct.
Agree
Sirf unko incapable samjha jata hai ji ka IITs me selection nhi hua aur wo abroad kisi college me padh rhe hai, ye baat to mene mere IIT campus me suni hai
Aur ab IITs ka craze bhi khatam sa ho rha hai, pehle jyada ijjat thi IITians ki
I totally agree with you. I am an NIT graduate and I was an independent consultant in Europe through my own company and I left everything and retired in India at the age of 46. My only son who is also UK citizen going to a normal CBSE school and he is fully settled and I have pride that I have made right decision at right moment.
The most important feature is the Time n Money .
Today the MNC setup in India and packages by them has brought opportunities and change in mindset of this generation which was not in the past 50-60 years
Hi,
Can you please make a video about People returning India on OCI? How is life on OCI and how to get citizenship of India from OCI?
Thanks.
Sure.....OCI kids being treated as general kids ...no fees change....in college it's different quota and fees....
U r right 👍
Being originally from Mumbai and now living in Sydney for the last 13 years, there is no way I could buy a 3 bed house in Mumbai. Lol, it s way too expensive. Could manage to do that here in 7 years and still live a good life. The advantages of living here are :
- High standard of living.
- 8 hours means 8 hours at work, not when your boss decides to leave the office :)
It is true that people from major cities don't really care about NRIs. I don't get why some people get so stuck up about getting royal treatment just cos they are NRIs, the struggle is the same but it depends on your attitude and mindset.
I think we Australian NRIs have it a little better than US large cities counterparts, however lots of what he says he not wrong.
This is true, and this is how it should be. Everyone is anyways equal. It's good to hear that poeple are taking it that way.
I guess you visited to india after long time 😊
1CR package may be possible 1/100000.. common man gets 5 lacks per annum
Times have changed...i am in india..minimum btech graduate now get 12lpa
@@shivamsawhney4263 which college?
Starting May be low but enough opportunities to reach atleast 20 lakhs in 7 years for an average engineer in india
Inflation will also give the perception of higher wages
And if you work in a shop you get 10k a year in rural India! An illness away from poverty man.
Aap itna ghume sir lekin aapko yeh nai pata laga india itna aage kyu hai. Reason is population, population is power. Bahar ke countries Mari ja rai hai population badane ko. logo ko PR deke bula Rai hai.. taxes ke liye nai , future invasion of land from foreign countries avoid karne ke liye population toh ho jammeen bachane ke liye.. india is strong because of large population.
Ab gao gao me har kisi ke pass smartphone 📱 hai. Bahuto ke pass car 🚘 hai. Har city me metro 🚇 hai. Even bullet train 🚄 bhi ban raha hai

Hemant, I've been following your content for a while you make great content but now I see you are running out of topics to discuss,
You should start a series on TH-cam where you bring different NRI people staying abroad and discuss their journey,
that will give us more insights into how people can go abroad and get a job, as well as what opportunities are there in India vs abroad.
you can start your own series for college students trying to move out and middle-aged people trying to come back.
your channel is about to take off, you should give out this information because the Study abroad centers in India are really charging students thousands of rupees only to give a very vague knowledge on the subject.
Thank you hope you consider this idea,
Remember to bring in real people. (Could be over video call recording, or in-room podcast.)
Thanks for the suggestion......It's noted.......You will see podcasts and other ideas coming in a few weeks.....
Hello Sir...me aapki vdo humesha dekhta hu aur bahot useful hoti hai... Sir I want to work in Denmark ...can you suggest some agency or consultancy who provides the sponsership for Indians... It wud be great info for your sunscribers...thanks cheers
Thanks....I am not sure about agency so you can check online for same
NRI behaviour is also very mean in many ways they behave like a alien in own country meanwhile all foreigners accept ndia as it is in real all countries have many problems bt they also criticise own country for every thing
Hemantji - Make video on job search in india for nri who want to return india
Sure
@@NRIreturntoindia Your videos are very good and provides valuable information to the needy ones. I have one request. Can you please throw some light on reservation , chacha bhateejawad, donations, bribe, and other factors that prevent the general and poor people to get jobs in India. People like your video good !! but there comments hurt me so much. If someone return to india and get settled Wonderful. But if someone doesn't want to return, his/her choice. This is totally personal opinion/preference. Kuch log keh rehe NRI arrogant hote hain. Pata nahi kahan dekh liya. Maine to nahi dekha. NRI humble or down to earth and truly culture ki valu samajhte hain. Kuch to keh rehe ki capable hi nahi hote to abroad jaate hain jaise wahan mama ji baithe ki ao beta ye job tumhare liye hai. le lo. Anyways I just realize your videos are full of information but at the same time they also give chance to spread negativity against NRI. These comments are examples. As a indian yeh sabse pehle sudharna hai baki sab to badhiya hai. Koi baat buri lagi to maaf kijiyega.
Feeling of insecurity shows up in ridiculing someone else😂
but now in India when we say we are nri ppl without thinking say u get same salary here y u ewant to stay away from family..u get better life in India...
Please more post,
How scared life in Store business and motels, and what they do all NRI 😅
6:40 hit me so hard, u got me bro I am here in US for about 5 years.
Thanks
i saw many videos of NRIs whatever they told about the sudden "love" towards India but actual reason is not as actual reson as SRK in swades movie 😂 Again its mostly selfish reason only except Single /Bachelor /not like to marry guys others who already have teen sons/daughters living in foreign countries even getting citizenship getting harder and then local govt rules which interfering parenting which is hard for Indian parents and like you said in your other videos in your channel Our own kids rebel against us and many parents wont like that situation.
Nri , who go by service sector are different than those who go for study in good university and do great. Pvt sector in India is well ahead then western but discuss about govt things and infra
Hemantji aapke ab future plan kya hai ..?? Return to us or live in India....
Live in India...but going on short trips is fine
Hi sir,
Good morning
I need your valuable guidance.
I am jashan from amritsar punjab
I did my btech cse in 2019
I have around 3 year experience in the testing domain
I want to move abroad to just earn money and have plan to come back after 10 year and start buisness
So please suggest which country is best for me
Right now m 26
Replied you on Instagram
Please tell me why NRI needs to be treated as someone special. It used to happen because there was a big difference between a middle class NRI lifestyle vs middle class Indian lifestyle. That gap is closing and closing at a fast rate. In some cases Indian lifestyle has more human help compared to expensive human help. I live in the West and also returned to India for 2 years and moved back for a variety of reasons. Like you I'm not judging either place and my theory is live wherever you are happy!
Does it make sense to go to usa spending 50 - 70 lakhs and do normal graduation with major in sales ,marketing ?
Non stem subjects ?
It's better to study here ..save money and then go to earn there rather than spend
Nope bro, I have friends who went back to India after graduation.
better to buy a nice flat or arrange for a downpayment. You can get a decent 3BHK in Bangalore / Pune / Gurgaon for 1.5Cr. Take a loan of 70L and the rent will pay off the EMI
India is developing a habit of cridet living. That is not development, people losing finance knowledge
Sir, Ek video mass layoff joh hoo raha hai us par bhi ek video banaye. Joh Indian wapas aayenge unke liye kuch tips bhi hoo jayega.
Ok sure ....Thanks for advise

I would like to know if the beggar situation has changed in India. It hits me very hard every time I go to India seeing small kids naked, begging .. I do realize that it's all mafia controlled like most countries. But at least in other countries you don't see it everywhere..
Last time I went to India was 2019. My parents live in a posh area with fancy shops. Every time we came out of a restaurant there were loads of small kids begging us for food pulling at our clothes .. I grew up in India and saw such things right from an early age but it hits me very hard. I ended up marrying a non Indian and he finds it very hard to look at all that too. I have to stop him from handing money out like candy when we visit India.
which city is this ? mumbai ?
@@fwefhwe4232 I visit Delhi. But pretty sure the situation is the same in other cities too.
don't come don't care.
What kind of question is this ? Begger n homelessness is in every country. US too has many homeless people look at streets of New York and Seattle.
It’s a lot better than the 90s, for sure, in Delhi. But the homelessness in Mumbai is still shocking when you see it for the first few times.
Hiya!, very awesome ~ do you wanna more followers?-take care~Hemant-😍
