We might call it hospitality. But it's not hospitality, it is classism. There in Germany people largely believe and follow equality. No employee or boss, no high class or low class. Waiters, Labours, Receivers, and every other people and professions are treated with proper respect, that we don't get to see in India. A waiter is always seen as lower and inferior to a person visiting the hotel. Why should that be a thing. We can carry our own bags, why do we need to expect someone to carry our luggage unless he/she is our own assistant.
These are things we miss when are outside India. When I was in London, we went for office party and it was kind of Welcome party to me. But at the end i was paying for myself in my own party lol. I found it really offensive but this is the culture they have. But when London team members come to India we never allow them to pay, and they get really impressed and equally shocked 😲
Even though I am living in India but I carry my luggage while doing check-in, i do shopping on weekdays to avoid Sunday's rush, I like to spend time with nature. Germany is perfect place for me 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
