    Seeing this trend a lot these days. Indians who came to US in 90s and 2000s have seen a different India and it was easy for them to get settled in US. Its mostly people like me(or us) who came after 2009 or so are mostly in this dilemma since India's economy rising and its getting almost impossible to get green card.

    • @realtalks1
      @realtalks1  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That’s a great point. Very apt actually. Moreover in the past decade especially since 2015 there has been a startup revolution in India. This has changed the economy of India in a good way. People in IT industry now have a real choice to make. I mean it’s a hard choice now and India offers pleathers of options.

    I have two points to add. Work culture in India is very different than in U.S. If this something you are looking to do after returning good luck. Too much bureaucracy in India. Banks a great example. Never go to a bank with out all yr documents never know what they will ask. Few things that you take granted in US, are literally missing in India.

    • @realtalks1

      Totally agreed, the video starts with corruption, congestion and pollution in India. 1st part is on the Govt, Burearucracy, Police and Juditiary system that is still pulling Indian's back. India is not for everyone, so if you are not used such systems it would be difficult to adjust.

    Hey bro, its a big decision to make, but everyone faces this in their life. I live NZ and I am a NZ citizen. Had a big dream to come here and settle, which I did. But now having a house nice SUV, a job and a family. However lately I miss my parents way too much. I feel like I need to return and spend time with them. They are aging. But as you previously had, we have a young family and a new house, which comes with a huge mortgage. It would be hard to manage all these liabilities. Also because I have been here for more than 10 years, I do not know if I can work in Indian companies. Also, I can't think of myself living in metro cities. I am from a small town.

    Nice video, There is no straight answer for this, IMO, quality of life comes with culture, environment and finances these are the options when it comes to India vs the USA
    Monthly expenses in the US would be $6k at least for a 3-member family, consider the emergency expenses needed, it's a safe bet that the family income must be at least $8k to survive the bad times. ($100K a year)
    Monthly expenses in India, at least Rs 60k in tier-2 cities and at least Rs 150k in tier-1 cities to survive through bad times, I'm considering Tier-1 cities in this example for a 3-member family.
    In order to live comfortably for the rest of life one needs to have at least 7-8 million USD in the US & 2 million USD in India (Considering inflation of 8.5% in the USA & 6.5% in India), assuming they are around 35 yrs of age and expect to live another 35 years, consider this to be the GOAL.
    Lower class in the US (

      1. You are right people take gap year after 12th to go out and explore. Even people like to backpack after working sometime. So you are right. 2 You can go for B1/B2 visa to travel to US and its valid for 3-6months. India to US is about 24hrs fligth. It depends if you land in East coast or West.

IT industry employs around 50lakh people I'd say. Top 1% will be making over 1Cr I guess so ~50K ppl making 1Cr+ We can also see income Tax returns of ppl making over 1Cr which is 2.3lakh so these r the numbers

    Good show. When you talk about salaries you need to mention average. you can not give example of google,apple, amazon. IN those company's there is no life. *you have to dedicate almost 24*7) most big company's dont give 200k salaries to directors VP's. they will get stocks and others benefits but salaries will be less than 200k.(to earn those stocks/restricted you have to work more years) Mid level managers/technical people make 150k. Also in India earning 1 crore per year is very rare again one in thousand. Better to give average numbers. if people wants to retire they dont opt for bigger cities instead they pick cheaper places. in East coast many places with 1 million 401k/IRA and with SSN benifits you can live like king. Also mansion like houses you will get for 500-600k,
