Meks thats actually happened to me a couple of times recently. whenver i vaulted over a wall, id been propelled into the air (at least 0.5m high) and dhalsim float down. weird but really fun when it happens.

Meks There's currently a glitch where if you stand/jump on the wooden beams going over the trenches, it propels you in the air. Found this out yesterday.
You can boost yourself if you vault over a high wall and land on your teammate, try it, pretty funny.
Level finally realized that the 5 round weapons are amazing as long as you have enough skill to use them

The marksman variant of this gun is amazing and has become one of my favourites, I am consistently getting a K/D of 2-3 while playing the objective. With some skill you'll win nearly every 1v1 engagement close to medium-long range, and as mentioned you have to be more aware of your surroundings and approach.
The frequent reloading actually teaches you a very important fundamental FPS skill that few people in BF1 do correctly; utilizing cover effectively and minimizing peek time. Sure with the other medic weapons you can get multiple kills in one mag and missing shots is more forgiving, but at the same time as you're standing there in a fairly static position laying down rounds you're also exposing yourself to enemy fire for a longer period of time, especially making it easy for enemy snipers to headshot you. With this gun you're forced to take cover to reload, and then re-peek perhaps even from another angle, which is actually a better strategy. If played correctly 1v2 at medium range isn't a problem, and in CQC or if you're being rushed you still have your sidearm, and as a medic the auto-revolver has a lower TTK in CQC than most primary weapons in this game.

This is a skill-cannon done right. Decent aim isn't all there is to it, and tap/burst firing requires no skill, which almost all we saw in previous games. What IS skill though is positioning. You can compensate for a low magazine capacity by smart use of cover, but you can never compensate for slow TTK, like the Selbstalter M1916.
Yousif Osama If you can't compensate for a lower ttk then you don't know about positioning. Positioning was always there in previous titles, in bf1 the cover is too sparse to always be able to control your engagement ranges and also how many enemies you expose yourself to at once.

btw, u can skip a half of reload animation. When ur soldier put the next clip into the gun, u can switch to ur pistol and backwards to skip animation.
What i do not understand in both 1906 and 8.35(i both like them though), is that why DICE dont buff their reload time so they could be 1.5x faster at reloading than their counterparts like Mondragon, 1916, 1907, Cei-Rigotti.

I use the Selbstlader 1906 which is similar. I really like it, pairs nice with a revolver to clean up if you need to. It's my favorite medic gun since as a medic you want to stick with a lot of teammates. You need to provide heals and and revives so you want to sit back and fire and let the assault guys be front line. I find if you are at a corridor you can kind of peak in, rifle off 5 shots or a nade and kill 1-3 people if they aren't full health. Pick some dudes up and reload. I started using it when I got an awesome black and gold skin for it and now it's all I use.
I prefer the extended variant. You can spam the shit out of that trigger.

Gandolf44 Yes it is. It's basically trash after 25 meters. 8 .35 maintains it's awesomeness up to 50 meters and after that it only loses to M1906.
I disagree, I really like the Autoloading 8.25 because of its high RPM and the magazine size.

Its a 3 shot in till i think 50 meters but above that it will take u a lot more shots to kill :p because its lowest damage output is 17 :p but i prefer the factory variant and ill try the marksman
i love using this gun and i got so pissed at the start of the game because everybody (levelcap, rivalxfactor, matimo, etc) all said this gun was horrible because it had a 5 round mag without even playing with it
FINALLY got all my weapon masteries on BF4, quite the journey, thanks for inspiring it Charlie.
Actually i am using this (or more often the factory version) very agressive and often in CQB and i am doing better with any other medic rifle. Furthermore, this weapon is a beas in Rush and Operations.
Ironically the Factory is better at range then the Marksman is a range, and the Marksman is better at CQB

Well...In my opinion LevelCap doesnt have good arguments to why weapons are bad/good. What he doesnt include is that it is subjective. Alot of the weapons in BF1 are FAIRLY balanced

thank you level cap for this review! my favorite weapon is the selsbater 1916 optical but when the recent update increased recoil it's been harder to bullet spam with the 2.5x rectical but this weapon is great

Why dont use the mondragon sniper ? i know it has slightly less rpm ... but you have more ammo, but some other neat advantages in exchange ... but why is it actually called Mondragon "Sniper" .... isnt it only a 4 times scope max.? why isnt it called marksman too like the selbstlader and the 8.25 .... illuminati

Because it uses a sniper scope, and sniper scopes give off glint. Sniper variants also comes with bipods.

Only the Scout class's unique high magnification sniper scope (up to 10x) gives off glint when it comes to optics. 4x telescopic sights do not.
Jack from the Jungle I can understand where you're coming from but despite it having great damage and a very slow damage drop off, the ammo capacity, reload time, and glint restrain it

In the first clip you killed me and revived your boy after we took the sector. I was very confused to see this. Reviving defenders who should be retreating takes no tickets from the attackers and gives them an opportunity to get 3 tickets back (which we definitely will because your retreating in the open for like 200m in this case). Also, melee if your retreat is hopeless; I knew I was getting revived 100% after you killed me.

Of course; all attackers flock to retreaters so a medic is sure to notice me.

Not really. An assault or support won't have that great of accuracy due to the full auto nature of their weapons.

Versatility wise, I'd rather have a sebstlader m1916 or a sweeper, 5 bullets is just painfull. Yes you can take 1 target out without reloading but when flanking a squad this gun is really going to dissapoint.
Close quarters, I'll agree with you it's not the fastest, but I didn't say it was the best, it's just more versatile in my opinion with a max 3 shot kill anywhere, that is powerful and 2 shots when you get a headshot, in close quarters either you kille already damaged enemies really quick or atleast get two shots on them and get the assist count as kill.
try the autoloading .25 the large mag version, in cqb it's just as fast with 3 shots to kill and I think 15-20 rounds.
***** who can't kill people properly with it? I do just fine with it averaging 40 plus kills, 3+k/d per game on 64 man conquests. Am I aways on top of the board? No, but the gun's flaws don't really affect the gameplay too much.
I don't play competitive so you might be right if you do, personally I have no issue with the rifle which usually outguns most other weapons based on how I use it. The competitive scene only ever use the most powerful weapons of each class so yes it might lose against the automaticos, BARs and sweepers.

When using the marksman variant to unlock the General Liu storm, I actually enjoyed using it after I died many many times trying to get used to it. I see metal slug use it a lot and I'm starting to see why.

The real Remington model 8 in .35rem is a beast of a gun. One chambered in 35 with a 20rnd mag was used to kill Bonnie and Clyde. It blew through their car like it wasn't there. Believe it or not, this rifle is based on the Browning auto 5 shotgun, which is also in BF1.

guy_wh0_sh0t yu why is that a problem though? it beat pretty much every other gun in the game and you don't really need a bigger mag to kill many targets cause of you're facing off against 2 or more enemies you will most probably loose that fight unless the other players are really bad
Edit: and for facing against more than 1 enemy you have a sidearm for a reason and most of the revolvers have some of the highest ttk in close quarters
One kill per magazine and a 5 second reload is fucking horrendous. There is a reason why nobody uses the .35 version of the Auto 8 or the piece of shit Luger 1906, they are horrible weapons just because their magazine cap is so low in contrast to their damage. The RSC 1917 is gonne be great however because its a two shot kill, with a 6rd magazine, Thats 3 kills per mag.

Found like a lot of these rifles were meant to be starter weapons before moving to the higher mag weapons. but for some reason they said , just unlock what you want with warbonds
After just one game using it, the factory model became my new favorite weapon for medic

You will use the medical pouch and needle to revive and heal foes. Try your best to revive any teammates you can see and heal any teammates. I fucking love this gun. It's especially good in smaller games where you engage people 1v1 more frequently. It usually comes out ahead in a firefight.

I watched this video earlier before jumping on Battlefield and I've been destroying with it since.
For people interested in the weapon but don't like the small mag, there is an extended version which holds 16 rounds iirc. It only has Iron Sights though if you are fine with using them. Personally that is my favorite medic gun.
The extended is absolute trash out side of 20 meters, If you're not bad, then this gun is easy to get used to. I have 14 service stars on the Factory and 15 on the Marksman.

I love rushing with the 8.25 Extended. Reviving and healing with all the rushers in the front is so much more fun than waiting in the back of a big group of players.

Dude, the Remington 8.35 Extended is a beast. I was skeptic about it at first because I thought I heard Matimio saying it had shitty accuracy. But I can use it like a semi-auto smg up close and at mid range. I think it's even better than the M1907 Sweeper in CQB.
the Remington model 8 in 35 Remington was one of the weapons that was used by police to kill Bonnie and Clyde. There were police models of this gun that have 15 round magazines too which would be awesome in the game. It is one of the coolest and under rated guns of all time.
Gun reminds me of the level 10 Medic Stelbslader 1906. It does force you to play more conservatively.

I'm 9th in the world across all consoles with this gun. It's about choosing your engagements to where you're not forced to kill two people at once or die. Then when I inevitably get into those situations, the auto revolver has a faster damage per second than the automatico and if I'm too far to get the two hit kill with the revolver then I'm far enough to where I can make a run for cover, reaload/heal then pop out and pick off the next guy.

If it hadn't been for Marble Duck, I would have never tried this rifle... although I'm not super skilled player, I still found myself enjoying that rifle more than any other SLRs. And I love the sound effects of it...

that moment when saying magazine is actually incorrect when talking about a rifle and clip is actually correct for a Change.
The Auto loading marksman is like the Selbstlader Sniper but it doesn’t hold that 3 shot after the damage drop off with out a head shot.
I like this and the Mondragon Optical. my go-to's

This gun paired with the medic revolver has saved me so many times, if you miss a couple shots and don't get the kill pull out the revolver
i got a loadout for yaits called the mobster, a guy fought in the great war using this loadout and used the same guns in chicago during the prohabition

I'd say its the best "medic-support" weapon.
Lets you focus on supporting your team/squad while giving you the potential to quickly eliminate enemies at range who are flanking or exposed.
the normal variety is the only gun I use when I use medic it's awesome
