Battlefield 1 casual-fest loadout.
Kit: Assault because all the other classes are too hard.
Primary: Automatico Trench because we don't want any imagination.
Secondary: M1911 because that hip fire.
Grenade: Gas because there was gas in WWI right?
Gadgets: Bundle Grenades and the AT Gun because the other gadgets suck.
Melee: Knife because we don't know that you can change your melee weapon.
Hey Level, this is the casual-fest loadout which represents the majority of BF1 players. Make sure you always hip fire with your Automatico and spam gas wherever possible.
Never capture flags, just keep up your kill count. Make sure you always get those cool melee kills to humiliate your opponent and if you die, blame the lag or something.

Agentcoolguy1 BF1 is much less casual than BF4. In BF4, you could just outdamage a DMR with an AR at the DMRs designated range. THAT is casual. You cant do that in BF1 since every gun has a specific range where it performs best. You cant just use the automatico on medium to long range

Agreed, the gunplay in BF1 is much more sophisticated and interesting than in BF4. (this is lost on many people)
However, BF1 is casualed up with the explosive spam, and gay gadgets (mortar for example) which allow non-skilled players to do well. (i.e. casual)

Juri you have a point, but allowing someone to have options killing at different ranges focuses on skill, rather than the weapon you have. In bf1, half of the times, you dont get killed because you were outgunned, but because he had the weapon for the certain engagement. This is rock paper scissors, which utter shit. Why not rewarding the player for being accurate with an assault rifle, instead of punnishing him for trying using it at range?

For whatever reason DICE seems to want bipods, monopods, bayonets, and scopes on fucking everything.
It is actually a palm rest used for shooting off hand. The off hand position is more stable and would make sense if you were using an optic especially in ww1 where the rifles were heavy
im waiting a few years before i truly judge this game. bf4 had a shit launch and first year or so and everyone said it was the worst bf game. it gradually got better and better as it was patched and updated. now most will say its the best bf game. i feel bf1 has the potential to blow bf4 away over time if dice listens to the fanbase

I majorly disagree. Even after all the patches I thought BF4 was still shit. It was a worse version of BF3. Terrible maps with no cover and guns that did crap damage.

During W.W.1. the French thought up a tactic known as “walking fire.” When initiating this tactic, you would march towards the enemy trench lines while firing your L.M.G. from the hip to suppress the enemy. Once you were close enough, you would charge and raid the trench, usually with additional support from armoured cars. I expect you to play similarly.

Yes he does. It's just habit. Most good snipers don't stay scoped while taking shots. Just gives you tunnel vision.

The marksman is the second most used SLR and the optical is the 5th. Levelcap himself uses this more than any other SLR.
Nathan Naoom I use it but, if you blast it quickly the bullets disappear from existence and miss everything. If the gun kicked like the bullets did and you could see how inaccurate it becomes, then it's perfect, but when you blast away and can't hit the broad side of a barn, it sucks.

You are a British pilot who has gone down with his plane behind enemy lines. if you get back you focus mainly on supporting your team, resupplying and helping helping friendly tanks. Using your smoke grenades to blind enemies and hide teammates that need it. If you get in a tricky situation you can always switch to your revolver, although it shouldn't always be relied on due to its disgusting reload time. Lastly you can use your shovel to assist bogged down tanks.

Scott Killian The reason people use the SMLE is because they want to play aggressively. Now, tell me which is more important to an aggressive sniper, being able to 1-shot from 35-60 meters (mid-long range) or at close range?

You are a French soldier in the French Fifth Army. You have just been deployed from the French colony of Corsica. Use your lebel sniper rifle to kill enemies at far ranged distances. Your frommer stop pistol and your nail knife protects you from the Germans that get too close. Use your trench periscope and k bullets to spot out the Germans and destroy their vehicles. Please try to get at least 1 kill with the nail knife and please use your gadgets and pistol. Also please stay on the new French DLC maps.
Why do people act like BF3 was the best Battlefield game ever made? Maybe when it first came out, yes, but by the end of it, it was pathetic, and its flaws were clearly showing.
It literally became M16A3 Medic Class Bunny Hop simulator. They completely screwed up the weapon and class balance in that game. Recon was essentially crap and underpowered (Only decent gadgets were T-UGS and MAV), Support guns were for the most part nerfed to shit to where the only time they were plausible was when they were bipoded up, hence why the only "LMGS" I ever saw at the end of its cycle were the M27, L86, and the RPK when it had the 200 round ammo glitch.
BF4 was a mess when it came out, but by the end of its cycle, I found every class was much more balanced and usable, as were the weapons courtesy of all the attachments. Even the AEK in BF4 wasn't an issue to me because you could outgun it by either staying farther back or going head to head with it with another fast firing gun, unlike the M16A3 in BF3 where it shat on everything at every range.
And as for BF1, I'm having fun with it. It may have some balancing issues (I'm looking at you specifically Artillery Truck, you scrub cannon), but at least in a few days, the grenade spam won't be a thing anymore. And I actually like the sweet spot mechanic to the snipers, because it makes them all feel unique and play different. And honestly, I find people that complain about BF1 for the most part can't adapt their play styles from past Battlefield games, and end up getting wrecked.
This is just your subjective opinion though (which is fine). I loved bf3 because as a console player at the time it came out there wasnt anything like it and I was getting tired of COD. Having massive maps most of which are still my favorite to date, vehicles, choppers, jets, it was unrivaled. Recon in BF3 was not crap at all, you could get a kill with one shot to the head. It was my favorite thing to do with the m98 and incredibly easy if you have good aim. Use the uav to spot everyone and then pick them off while holding down a flag, with a silenced pistol for backup, it was a deadly combo. I spent hours every day doing this over and over on Kharg.. Honestly, it was the first game where I had fun trying out every single weapon in every class and exploiting their strengths and weaknesses while being able to play on the same map over and over and over. I actually threw it in a couple weeks back since its now backwards compatible on xbox one and it was still fun. If they ever remastered it I don't think I'd ever need to buy another bf. As far as your experience with different guns and going against them, again that is your own experience. I never had an issue being outgunned by m16s all the time because with a m98 id pick them off before they even knew I was there because I spotted them coming a mile away with my uav. Even in close combat all I needed was one shot to the head or one body shot and switch to backup. It just depends on your personal play style. All this being said, you are 100% correct about bf4 being more polished at the end, however i'll take bf3 maps over bf4 maps any day.

Silent Thunder Medics in BF3 actually revive, and a good player can rek someone using an M16A3 easily with any class. The reason I think it's the best BF3 is the superb gunplay and excellent sound design.
i didn't have the chance to play bf3 (sadly), the AEK even at the end of bf4 was still really good and can outdamage a lot of gun but i have to agree with you on bf1 part, like the number of people that don't even try to adapt to the new battlefield *sigh* for me bf1 weapon balance is really good maybe just the automatico but it's funny because the AS VAL has a better TTK with better spread and same recoil but nobody was complaining about this weapon wonder why :/
I can never decide whether I liked BF3/4 better... 1 is alright, too many snipers. I will say that I really miss the BF3 Frogfoot which, for whatever reason, I always did better in that he A-10. Single strafing tanks was amazing...

Push objectives super aggressively, solo if you're team can't keep up. Use your flare gun to find your enemies or help take out vehicles and place your trip bombs where you know they're are coming from. Use Frags to clear rooms and don't be afraid to get into cqc with your revolver. Use the Smle carbine where it feels appropriate, its effective at almost any range, but of course is best at short to medium with the sweet spot.

Description - You are Tanya von Degurechaff, a young girl who serves the German Empire/Austro-Hungarian Empire's Mages Division during the First World War. In command of a battalion of elite mages, your main objective is to overwhelm the enemy while remaining highly mobile and relatively small. Also, show no sympathy for your enemy and if your team fails, you must berate them (Yes, that means talking shit at them through the chat).
Strategy - As the description says, you have to kill as many people as you can while on the move, but sometimes far away to provide support for your team.
Extra question, what do you think of these Battlefield 1 loadouts? Unlike Battlefield 4, Battlefield 1 has lesser and kind of tedious loadouts as the game is set in WW1, where there were not much weapons and attachments.

Honestly, my opinion near the end of BF4 was "For the love of god, can we just get a Battlefield game that doesn't hinge on a progression system and unlocks? If we absolutely must have progression and unlocks, can we at least just give players all the DLC content right off the bat when they purchase them instead of having them go do stupid shit like killing each other with defibs?"
BF1 perfectly shows that in the effort to compete directly with Call Of Duty, Battlefield has lost its identity...

BrawlerAce At least BF3 was a balance of progrewsing to adapt to current expectations while being team oriented with good map design. And TDM is so good in that game.
Don't get me wrong, BF3 was fun. I'm saying that BF1 hasn't caused Battlefield to lose its identity any more than BF3 did.
Anyhow, BF3's teamwork was kinda abysmal at the beginning, and to this day the game still has a joke of a communication system, which is almost essential for teamwork. I would argue that this is why Battlefield has much less teamwork than before.

M8, I always play scout aggressively. My 3 classes are Martini-Henry, SMLE MkII INFANTRY, and the Russian 1895 INFANTRY!!! All of my snipers have no scope, I run around and play the objective and get lots of kills. And you complain about snipers having a CAMPING play style?! I do the same thing in CoD! Doesn't that prove that not all snipers camp, and that you can do well without being in that sweet spot far back with a scope?!
In fact, I have a load out to match my play style!

Its more about habit and rythnm. Its hard to explain but most people have this when the snipe, watching levels sniping or even xfactor youll find they both do a lot of seemingly pointless movements after taking shots, often in a similar way throughout. Like a pattern that keeps them flowing. Just something you feel really.
It's probably habit. Going on "autopilot" while zoomed in through a scope is how you die playing the scout/recon. Straight pull bolt or not, spatial awareness is the best weapon in a first person shooter.

They can balance the game all they want. Tweaks will not help this game. You say BF4 needed lots of time. BF4 play style was normal, like how battlefield should play, the tweaking was just for technical balance things and bugs. No amount of tweaking will change the way BF1 plays. It's not a true battlefield game in my opinion.

I may speak for myself but I know from my own personal group of friends that many people, including Level, have carried over their 500+ hours from BF4 into BF1. Many have gone back, many have stuck to BF1, others like myself go between titles. They're different games. I don't see why everyone is upset or hating on one title over the other. It's like taking the new Ghost Recon: Wildlands and comparing it to Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Completely different games, same franchise, same developer. Come on, guys.

Bf4 snipers had a sweetspot except for maybe two of them, in 10 or 15 meters you would get a one hit in the chest if they didn't have the defensive field upgrade

it's funny because i play this class a lot, and i enjoyed BF4 a lot as well. i respect Level's perspective saying that we should wait a while before we judge BF1 cause BF4 didn't start off polished.

I don't believe Levelcap knows that one of the most powerful abilities of the M.95 is that it's a straight pull bolt and you don't have to unscope. Or maybe he is just too used to unscoping with the other guns? Either way, this is my favorite sniper rifle in this game.

I did this loadout since I saw Kyle Busch punch Joey Logano yesterday at the Las Vegas race yesterday, and people get mad like he does in video games. Search up the fight if you didn't see it.
I feel like a new behemoth would be a great addition, but I'm not thinking about the behemoth vehicles already involved in the game. I'm talking about a creeping barrage behemoth where one to three players would go behind friendly lines and lay down 15 to 20 barrages. One player could be the commander of the artillery while the other two would take the seats of anti-air guns. Creeping barrages would be an instrumental and accurate addition to the game. By limiting the amount of barrages that are fire-able they could possibly change the outcome of 4 flags if they successfully wipe out the enemy teams from them with 3 to 5 barrages while keeping it somewhat balanced. It would be over powered but attackable and destroyable from air vehicles which is where the anti-air guns would come into play. Hopefully some of you feel the same.
Levelcap is doing the community a service by keeping all the BF4 fan boys on his channel. It's like the kids table at Thanksgiving. Make some BF4 videos to keep them all occupied so the adults can play BF1 in peace.

everyone has romantic but cloudy memories about BF series
I remember BF3 had server down issues at launch day and the coming days. It had really a bad helo spawn rape problem , where you could strafe in home spawn and destroy entire servers. If you join a quick match you would often spawn right into a helo home spawn death trap.
I remember BF4 serious Rubberbanding issues and constant gun nerfing , ridiculously nerfing at that, plus all the other myriad of issues.
BF1 has some issues , like the revive glitch and some server lag (like rubberbanding) , and other various things, but overall smoother experience than BF3 and BF4 launch.
