App? What app? Just don't use the software. The back buttons can be remapped very quickly without using any extra software. No need to install extra junk.
It's okay it has Halifax sticks the Xbox controller does not the Xbox controller is going to feel more premium because of it's an Xbox controller first party controller where this one doesn't even work on xbox.

If you're on Xbox then no since this isn't compatible with Xbox if you're on PC personally I'm looking at different controllers because I'm not a big fan of this one by itself compared to other controllers out there I have a whole bunch of different controllers on my TH-cam channel feel free to check it out if you got questions on this video just comment and I'll try to answer it if I see it thanks
I replaced my elite series 2 with this thing and have no issues. In fact, the sticks on it are far better and it's more durable overall. It lacks some of the extra bells and whistles that the elite series 2 has, but what's the point of them when the sticks, bumpers, and apparently even face buttons are so bad and fragile? Just to emphasize how much better the sticks are, I usually play shooters with mouse and keyboard and generally HATE playing them on controller. Last time I tried Halo Infinite on an elite series 2, it just felt like absolute garbage. This controller actually feels really smooth, especially after cranking the deadzones to 0. It was the first time in years I played a shooter on a controller without just immediately wanting to drop it and use a mouse and keyboard instead. I've tried other controllers with hall effect sticks, and these have been the best by far.
@@PughsReview im on pc , finding a controller to replace the series xs, in your opinion, considering you said you're looking for a different one than the one in the video, would you recommend me one that you feel is good enough to replace my controller, or is maybe even better? preferably the dpad is like the series x/s one which has like that surface on the dpad that makes it easier for diagonal moves , and also tactile

@@PughsReview thanks man! Unfortunately for me i have already purchased the cyclone pro because between it and khaled the button on the rgb version dont have stability to the button so my friend said they feel super mushy so i ended up going with the cyclone pro tysm for reviews and replys !!
Most of those are super expensive and I don't have experience with them so I can't say they are good. Best recommendation I can say would be elite series core controller I'll link the latest video where I talk about it.

android has rather lax policies regarding privacy too... for an app to get pulled from google's play store is BAD

You can by going to switch mode by holding both '+' and '-' buttons together while connected via the dongle
