You're in the military there was a war or something God forbid have to work 24/7 for 8 months or whatever knows what if you worked on a submarine go out for 3 or f o u r months 5. Just my opinion I appreciate your service God bless everybody who serves in the military but you know what you sign up for I mean like I said there was a war we were on a submarine when you're out there for a long time it's not a 9:00 to 5:00 job you know that when you sign up

I wish i'd had your work schedule i often 18-19 hrs a day 7 days a week.
Fastest way to build generational wealth, is the military.
Something I value deeply.
It is the one feat I will die for.
To give my future wife an kids,[who I want want deeply].....
A house, land, healthcare, a life insurance policy in case I die.
A neighborhood that is high class, and is not next to a half way house, where psychopaths serial killers and drug dealers, roam about.
As they turn out their fellow citizens.
While the cops vainly arrest criminals only to release them because of over crowding.
Some people deserve justice's wrath.

Sorry for looking at the possibilities while ignoring the stress.
It is selfish of me.
Being self, critical.
Makes me overly self conscious.
I try hard to fit in; I worry too much if I am asset to society.
College, tucking in my shirt, constantly working, speaking german while accepting my Dad's wishes to not learning AAVE.
Let's just I am very motivated an proactive to obtain prestige.
Not just money.
But everything.
Technically I spent four and a half years at one base, on three ships, almost always deployed. I spent a grand total of just over 4 months at Charleston SC. TDY, schools, and transfers to new ships meant I spent more time at New London, Norfolk, and various other places than at "home". Good news is that it meant I had opportunities that lead to making rank fast, E5 in just under four years, bad news is I really never got attached to any base or ship so I really didn't create any lifelong buddies.
I'm going in as an AECF/AEF, most likely to be put into FC

Do you have a shore duty station? Wouldn't mention, but it's because of the ladies that more men than women go to sea their first enlistment due to the femmes. (EX) IC2 Waldron-Texas(Desert Storm/Shield)

Not necessarily unfortunately. They kind of take in consideration where you want to go, but for the most part, they are going to fill billets that they need filled
