epoxy is not toxic,its like plastic.you drink from plastic water bottles eat on plastic plates store food in plastic containers every day and guess what plastic is made from petrol.

When you combined two plates, did you mix the resin with hardner?

Not sure if epoxy resin is something you want to be eating off of regularly. Actually I'm pretty sure. Nice vid though.
You don't eat off of it you put it in the china cabinet like "the good plates" everybody mom has but never uses
good epoxy resin doesn't release any chemical content below 50 degree celsius so it's safe for SLIGHTLY warm foods
