Spy, Pyro, and sniper aren't in this trailer for some reason, but they're still employed by Saxton. The "A Fate Worse Than Chess" comic actually sums this up pretty nicely.
Explaination: so in the comics the war between red and blue still there but the guy who made the teams decided to replace the team fortress with robots based on them so all of the team fortress team went jobless m,also both of the team were fighting each other not bc they hate each other but bc its their job to do that, since they dont have any job anymore they went doing their life few years after something happened (i forgor what) that forced miss poline to travel all around the worldto get the team fortress back but since red and blue team doesnt have any reason to fight they became allie

Explanation: Ok so we have to go some way back but hear me out. There were actually 3 Mann brothers, the third one (aside from Redmond and Blutarch) is Gray Mann. The reason why he wasn't there in the beginning is because he was abducted by eagles during The Great Eagle Scourge of 1822 and raised by them. As opposed to his idiot brothers, Gray was actually a genius, learning to speak in the womb and even invented a form of algebra when he was in there. Eventually, he killed and ate his eagle family then built up his own company: Gray Gravel Co.. Even though he had his own gravel empire, he still desire what he saw was his birthright that his 2 idiots brothers didn't deserved and that's where the robots comes in. Oh and fun fact: The robots run with money. No seriously, that's their fuel source.

Actually this was before the first main story comic. The reason why Pyro became a CEO was because all of them was let go after Gray took over Mann Co.
